   Food is average at best, yet prices are not cheap. Seated right at the opening of the patio so every person waiting was right on top of us and we could barely have a conversation. Service was slow and wait staff disappeared for long periods of time. I'd wanted to try this place for the longest time and was very let down at how average the food was. There are much better restaurants in this city so I won't be back!

   Cauliflower, gnocchi, calamari were OUTSTANDING!!! Farro and broccoli bucatini were good. Panda cotta delicious. Banana tiramisu creamy but a bit of a miss. No discernible coffee flavor and not enough ladyfingers. Limited wine/sparkling wine offerings and NOT very generous pours. Service was very pleasant but felt rushed to turn table by clearing staff.

    Chef Avner has created a vibrant scene for the pasta and fun italian loving crowd! Amazing apps, pasta, secondi and of course fantastic desserts. There's a reason Food and Wine rated Chef Avner's desserts the best in LA...so many good things!

    Fantastic restaurant! My wife found this hidden treasure in Food and Wine (I say “hidden” because is is almost invisible from the street). The staff was friendly,courteous and attentive. Our server was helpful with the menu and wine list. We had pasta dishes which were different and delicious! We chose banana pudding tiramisu! Yummy! We ware from Riverside (an hour and 20 minutes away) but will DEFINITELY be returning!

    Excellent all around - great food, great service, great ambiance. Highly recommend. For pastas - the squid ink mafaldine, sweet corn agnolotti and spicy pomodoro were our favorites.

    the food was absolutely delicious. we started with chef’s recco of octopus and crudo as well as the endive caesar (which is a sleeper hit!! the shower of crunchy bread crumbs and salty cheese is next level) both the uni spaghetti and broccoli bucatini were so so good. perfectly cooked and seasoned. we splurged on two desserts - banana tiramisu and the special choco-taco. devoured every bite. cant wait to go back!!

    They offer valet which is great! It’s a small place which offers two very different experiences. Inside you’ll sit on bar stools with brighter lighting and a view of the kitchen at work. Outside you have an Italian feeling patio with string lights and cypress trees. I chose to sit outside and the heaters were literally a warm welcome. We started off with some red wine and the farro salad. I would not get it again. The plate felt more of a lunch dish and the flavors were almost too bold and bright for a salad if felt like an accompaniment than a starter. However the spicy pomodoro is worth a second trip. The creamy ricotta and truffle were so subtle and a perfect balance to the Calabrian Chilis. Overall a very well balanced dish and I would have it again- perhaps a bit more Al dente it was a little soft for my liking but it was delicious! My boyfriend ordered the broccoli pasta and it was very good as well. I loved the different texture with the burrata and breadcrumbs. It was a tad bitter but I liked that. The banana bread tiramisu is quite dreamy but I wish it had a crunch element on top. After 4 bites it starts to feel predictable but overall it was a perfect finish to a lovely evening and I will be returning especially once they open for lunch.

    I’m confused about the portion size of hamachi crudo I was servers last night. The first time I came here a week ago we got 4 whole pieces of hamachi. Last night however we got served small strips of hamachi? But still charged the same price would love to know what changed and why?

    Our new favorite restaurant. The food was outstanding and all the staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. Overall, such a fun dining experience and we cant wait to go back. Uni pasta was out of this world and Chris was the greatest server.

    Food was outstanding. Hostess was a little odd. She kept trying to get us to order our wine while we were standing waiting for our table. No offense but I like to sit and have time to look over the menu. My other complaint and it’s minor my dining partner asked for bread for the table. I understand they don’t serve bread but she wanted bread for the wonderful sauce left in the lobster sauce. Would have been great to have. We were told they only have enough slices for one particular dish. Maybe something to consider. Other then that the patio is as just lovely. Again food was excellent

    One of my new faves; the patio at dusk was just perfect under the twinkle lights and everything tasted wonderful. I loved the corn agnolotti best and the broccoli bucatini was really unexpectedly good. Can't wait to try more of the menu!
