We live in the neighborhood and tried it for the first time. Glad that we did.
All fresh, organic, bread is amazing, I would recommend anything and everything on the menu! Salads are great, the presentation they give with food is epic!
My sausage and shrimp rigatoni dish for $19 was missing the sausage that it advertised. When is asked the manager where the sausage is in my dish, she told me ‘it has sausage paste.’ SAUSAGE PASTE? What is that? There was absolutely no sausage in this dish. Also, it was birthday and they did comp a dessert so that kind of made up for the missing sausage. Great service though.
Went to dinner with friends after a Cirque du Soleil show. Great atmosphere, great food, good price and it was not so loud that we couldn’t have comfortable conversation. Service was great and the coffee was very good. We will definitely be back
Went for lunch and then came back for dinner shortly after. Service is very friendly, ambiance very comfortable, and the food was delicious on both occasions.
$5 for a small Diet Coke and was not told there are no free refills. $10 for a can of Diet Coke. Sorry, we will never be back. Food was good though. Bummer!
Wonderful flavors. Everything good. Going back again.
Delicious, straight forward and satisfying
Service was fine.
Portion is crazy small. We had to order a second meal to feel less hungry.
Not with the price at all.
Ok food. Over priced. Long wait time for the main, i.e. 25-30 mins. We will not be back.
The food was wonderful and service was exceptional! Can't wait to return to try the rest of the menu.
Nice restaurant in a good location. We were able to have conversations at a normal tone. Limited menu for an Italian restaurant. Few vegetarian or vegetable options and the staff was not able to suggest alternatives. Small portions and relatively high prices. The bar failed to construct a classic Negroni. Bread is extra, pizza a bit doughy.
Cento has potential but they need to work on getting better wait staff or train them to be more attentive on the basics like refilling water, coming back to take orders in less than 15 mins after being seated, telling us that what we ordered was out sooner than 10 mins after we ordered it.
Another wonderful meal with great service
Good food but small portions. The quality was good but I felt overpriced for what was received. overall a good location and a great ambiance next to At&T park.
First time in this space. Wonderful hostess who greets you. Start out with the bread and olive oil. While we thought it was complimentary it was great. The tagliatelle and pork were both wonderful. My gripe - seated against a wall and there’s a railing at mid back so not ideal for comfort. Wine list also strictly Italian. Very decent overall.
Excellent service and Italian. Pasta wonderful. Salad with dried beef special.
Mediocre food, small appetizers for the amount of money. One pasta was good, two others very flavorless. Chocolate cake dessert tasted old. Impatient waitress even though there were only 3 tables that Sunday evening.
Everything was wonderful.
We have been fans of Cento since it opened in May. In the past, we have enjoyed restaurants owned by Donato in Redwood City and Palo Alto. However, we are disappointed that the service and pacing of the meal at Cento has not improved since it opened. My daughter and I had a three course meal at Cento on Friday night, sharing several of the dishes. The server continuously hurried us along, picking up plates before we had even finished. It became annoying after a while. I don’t know if this was the fault of the server or the kitchen, but the meal was very poorly executed. We were out of the restaurant in less than 35 minutes because they hurried us so much. The food continues to be generally excellent. And the setting is beautiful. I hope they are able to get their act together, as we live In the neighborhood and want them to succeed.
Great menu wonderful service
Great restaurant. The only feedback is that some of the servers don't provide the level of service for a restaurant of this caliber. Eaten there twice this week and both times the service was just acceptable.
This place was very good, the pizza and pasta both delicious. Perfect dough.
We were celebrating a birthday Our waiter, Alex, was wonderful. He was very attentive, friendly and professional. The chef has designed a great fall menu with every dish delicious. The squash salad was gorgeous and so good. We also love the homemade bread, focaccia and moszarella salad. Our swordfish eas cooked perfectly with an extraordinary sauce of tomatoes, capers and olives. I’m still thinking about how savory it was. The cansonsei were lovely. The two dessrts were delicious, the butterscotch panna cotta was a standout. We can’t wait to return and try more dishes!
While our waiter was very nice, he was not professionally trained and the same was apparent for the balance of the staff. Also there were only three tables with customers and the bar area was empty. As a result the atmosphere was lacking.
As always, the food and staff at Cento did not disappoint. The food is creative and delicious. Staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. The menu includes dishes from pizza to more sophisticated entres'.
Excellent swordfish and hand made pasta , arugula and delicates squash salad with house made mozzarella. Yum
We had a wonderful meal here with perfect service from a very helpful server named Bibi. She guided us expertly through the menu, encouraged us to try some amazing white truffle pasta which is only rarely in season, paired authentic local Italian wine with our meal, and everything we ate was delicious. It's a great location and easy to get to from outside the city. The pate dish and the salad and the pizza and the pastas were all superb. And nothing broke the bank. It was a memorable meal and completely outdid all of our expectations.
Very nice experience, but disappointed that nothing special considered for us. Reservations were for our 35 wedding anniversary and no recognition by management at all.
The food was amazing and the servers were super knowledgeable in making suggestions for food and wine.
The Polletto (grilled spring chicken) with fregola, roasted root vegetables and quince, chicken apple jus was wonderfully distinctive. Pizza is good and salads generous. A local gem.
Cento Osteria is fantastic. We tried all the appetizers and then had swordfish as an entre’. The wait staff was excellent; friendly, very knowledgeable about both the food and wine. The bar is really sweet and a great place to meet friends afterwork.
Excellent hospitality and service! Food was delicious! We will definitely be back.
Food was great. Authentic Italian pizza, delicious dessert.
I arrived at CENTO OSTERIA at 18:33. Had reservations at 18:45 and they were very accommodating and seated us. I ordered a bottle of wine . It was 19:07 and the bottle of wine never arrived and they server never came back to update us or order appetizers so we we left the premises without the wine or food !
Although the menu items are tasty and innovative, the prices are way too expensive to allow this restaurant to be a go-to neighborhood restaurant.
Amazing food, just took us 1.5 hours to get our dinners once we sat down. We had a group of 7 and unfortunately were seated in the bar area which did not have comfortable seating. We did not have a regular waiter yet a bar person with attitude who was not familiar with taking food orders or placing them with the kitchen. Our food was spaced out with strange timing. Unfortunately entrees were not served at once for our group to enjoy dinner at the same time. Luckily the manager finally stepped in and noticed something was wrong and she comped some of the dinners. But overall it was not a good group experience for out of town family members. It may be better for local visits for just 2 people at a time. The food was wonderful though.
Best pizza I've ever had, including in Italy! I've never said that before, no matter how good the pizza was. The crust here is outstanding, total perfection. I can't imagine how it could be any better than it is!
Fantastic Staff. Antonio, Massimiliano, Maria, Fernando, etc, and of course, Donato!
A little hot inside but food was great!
