Our server was terrible. We ordered a good bottle of wine, she brought it to the table, opened it,poured two glasses & left without allowing either of us to taste it to be certain it was good. The Caesar salad was terrible, the calamari appetizer was excellent. The duck main course was good but the pasta pappardelle were horrible for an Italian restaurant. The porchetta was good, however way too large a portion. I live half the year in Italy & the other have in Santa Fe, NM, so I know good Italian food & this is NOT the place for good Italian food. I was terribly disappointed & would never come back here nor recommend it to anyone.

Our server Ethan was wonderful. The food was beyond expensive and sub par. The prime rib was flavorless. The duck was slightly undercooked, but nice flavor. Should have been served with grilled veggies not over a large bowl of over cooked pasta. But the worst was all the flies! Other indoor/outdoor restaurants do not have this issue, there are many ways to stop it. We are locals, and don’t plan on returning 😔

It took 1.5 hours to get our meal served. Everyone seemed to be a trainee and a bit clueless. They were insensitive about food allergies. We split a salad and they never brought an extra plate. I had to remind our waiter to bring our wine. Wait staff was not attentive. Any other questions?

I should have read the separate reviews from the restaurant ands not only the ones from the resort this place is located in. The food is mediocre at best. It is mind boggling how pasta can be so bland, it is really not that hard to make pasta taste good. They made many mistakes with the orders, they were actually missing ingredients that were stated in the menu and then they were brought separately after we had finished out meal. One thing they were good at was apologizing, we had several people come by the table to say they were sorry, several times. I wish there had not been a need for this. Lesson learned, if we ever stay at Allegretto again we will definitely avoid this place.

This was a treat. The Caesar salad was the best I ever had. The Pasta dishes we had were excellent. Carbonara for her and a Seafood and Pasta dish for me. Very tastly and savory. my only complaint was the Pistachio Gelato had freezer burn and should not have been served. The server didn't notice but the kitchen should have! it was voluntarily taken off my bill.

Very disappointing experience. I ordered the 1/2 chicken that was on the menu. I was served a chicken long and short leg with many potatoes. My wife ordered a Ceasar salad with grilled shrimp. The salad was served with no grilled shrimp. It took 20 minutes to get the shrimp because we were told the kitchen was "very busy." The shrimp was not grilled, only 4 small, sautéed shrimp were served. Our waiter however was patient and kind, and we appreciated his help.

We always enjoyed eating here the past 4 years, but the past two times the food has been okay. I don’t know if this is true - but it feels like they used to have a chef, and now they have a cook. Everything was overcooked. Don’t think we’ll eat here again.

Ethan is the best server. He and David were very attentive. They have a new chef. While we still love the food, we prefer our calamari with both rings and tentacles. Steaks are spectacular as long as they’re medium rare. Chad makes the best cocktails and the prosciutto and fig pizza is amazing!

I’ve been in this restaurant 3 times. I gave them the benefit of the doubt when we had our lunch there. So we came back for the second time. The food was so huge (portion) that you can’t described or decipher what flavors are there and it’s overwhelming. Good portions but then under whelming flavor. On the salty side. We came back again to see if they changed. But it got worst. The crab bisque has all the shells that my mother has to spit out the shells every time she gets a scoop of the soup. Terrible. My shrimp salad looks so sad. Soggy leaves, some of them are yellow and the shrimp tastes old. Our wait staff was great though and was apologetic. Allegretto is a very pretty place, well maintained, but they need a restaurant that replicates Allegretto which is excellence. Food need to improve or else you will lose patrons. Just a thought.

Staff was very inattentive. Food was brought out almost immediately after the salads. Had to rearrange the entire table ourselves. Waitress stopped by once during the meal. Still was eating when she dropped off the bill. Guess we didn't want dessert. Felt very rushed. So much for a romantic anniversary.

This 3-star rating is for the dinner we had at Cello. The pizza was undercooked and their version of Créme Brúlée was absolutely horrible. We stayed at the hotel and had breakfast there every morning and would give them a 5-star rating for the breakfast.

The service is warm and attentive. We dined outdoors (as we brought our dog) and the patio setting was lovely. My husband and I both found our cocktails to be on the weak side, which was disappointing. Mine (a pisco-based drink that I usually enjoy), tasted like limeade. We enjoyed our appetizers (carpaccio and gazpacho). The pizzas were rather doughy in the middle and difficult to eat without a knife and fork, though the flavors were okay. Overall, as noted by other reviews, the food is pretty good, but expensive for what it is. One is paying for the ambiance and resort setting.

This meal was absolutely fantastic and the service was unbelievable. The staff was consistently attentive and made sure we were always happy. They chef even came out to make sure we were enjoying everything. I highly recommend you check out this place out!

To start with, bad service (Betsy). Needs to be more attentive. The menu is not very descriptive when it comes to what type of protein it is. Beef cut-not filet- rock fish, not halibut..and so on. Expensive for what you receive. The large bowl of soup was the same amount as the small one but way more expensive. Our final bill was 172.00 with one glass of wine. Too bad...we have eaten there before. We were staying there but will go out for dinner next time.

This was a special occasion for our wedding anniversary: the service was great, the food was perfect, the patio dining outstanding and they even gave us a complimentary champagne! I had the Mediterranean Shrimp pasta, my spouse had the burger & fries. They gave us a nice light bread to dip in the house olive oil & balsamic. Chad was our kind server and we really had a very special night dining here!

Our meal had to be top 5 we've ever had. The wife let the bartender make the Barmaker's Choice. She loved it. Her pork chop was absolutely phenomenal. As good or better than Perry's. I had the salmon which was delicious as well. We had outdoor seating, which was the only nick I can give our experience because I was sat behind a wall where I didn't get any of the view my wife had. Other than that, a terrific experience.
