We ate outside and the staff kindly put a heater right next to our table. Service was great and we enjoyed our dinner. The calamari is a must order - perfectly crispy and no oil. Pizzas were very good. It is a beautiful venue inside and out.
A solid choice for excellent pasta in a beautiful setting. Wine list is quite comprehensive. Attentive service.
Food was fine. Decor is nice. Waiter was good. Manager was good.
One dish was underdone, which we were comped for.
We found other restaurants in the area “trying harder” with a better menu and food.
Safe good place to eat, but only if you are not adventurous enough to drive across the bridge to downtown.
It’s too bad: ambiance and service are great. Menu and execution need work.
I would absolutely recommend! Food was delicious. Very quaint setting. So relaxing. Everything was wonderful minus one of our hostesses at the restaurant.
Good solid place to enjoy a good meal and lovely outdoor area when the weather is conducive
Macy and Brian did a great job as backups when our waiter Brandon got busy so we were well taken care of.
beautiful surroundings, excellent service, good food, good ambiance
Service little bit slow but overall attentive service located inside the hotel plenty of parking mask is required
Atmosphere is lovely at this beautiful resort. However, the service was”spotty “. Took a long time to get our pre dinner wine after we ordered it. I ordered the mussel appetizer and Caesar salad prior to that. Caesar salad was “average”…. Seemed similar to what I put together from one of the Costco kits I buy there. Bread served was also average.
Mussels were seasoned nicely and plenty to have as a main dish. My husband ordered the filet which was very tender and came with potatoes and vegetables- a lot of food . Although, was a little overdone. At $60 for this dish, think they could have gotten it right.
Service was slow in the beginning but after we got our meal, he seemed to want to rush us to close out.
Have to say, I was a little disappointed in this restaurant which was highly rated.
Atmosphere great though!!
Waitress could’ve been a little nicer but good experience
Service was wonderful but the food was okay, not over the top. The restaurant, for a Tuesday, was not very crowded, although they did forget to deliver our complete order. However, they were very apologetic and accommodating, which is what I would expect from a higher end dining.
The Arancini was delicious and very crisp with a soft smooth interior. The carbonara was so-so, which suffered from a little more seasoning as well as proper draining. The ribeye steak was delicious. It had a lot of flavor and tenderness; however, the temperature was slightly on the blue side for a medium rare. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable. I was going to have them fire it a minute longer, but it is served pre sliced. I guess, now thinking about it, since it was pre sliced, there should have been no excuse for the bluer temp. Their wine selection was perfect, not over the top and their signature cocktail (old Fashion) was just right.
The menu is very limited and over half are red meat dishes. We ordered an appetiser and entrees and it all came within 10 minutes We were only half was through our appetiser. Entrees were plonked on the table without a care. Although the restaurant was only half full we felt very rushed.
Delightful restaurant, good food, good value, good service in a charming setting.
Lovely place, servers did a good job but the food was not good. Lettuce was wilted and appeared to have sat around in the caesar dressing too long and the croutons were cardboard with no flavor. Similarly the pasta was over cooked (carbonara).
Excellent service . Excellent food. Well prepared & timely
Was excited for a big plate of carbonara last night. Not as good as mine I make at home in 10 minutes.
Entree choices were very limited and not much for someone trying to eat healthier.
One of the worst meals with a group of friends I HAVE HAD IN YEARS.
Terrible service and high prices and food quality low / never will be back.
So bad it was almost funny.
We usually eat there on our way to Santa Barbara
Or Pal Desert
Been going there for lunch and dinner on our
Way through. The meals have always been superb
And they do go the extra mile!
I would highly recommend going there if
You are near Paso Robles, you will not regret it!
Waiter was forgetful and we had to ask several times for items . Forgot the drinks , had to ask the hostess for our bread and never came back with cracked pepper we asked for . The food was good except the vegan dish was bland . For the cost a disappointing experience for such a wonderful resort .
Ok food, very casual setting and clientele. Felt like a convention type hotel. Inexperienced wait staff but very friendly. Nice looking bar but poor quality drink. It was one of very few reservations available…
Lovely evening, we got engaged just prior to going here for dinner and they were so sweet to give us a delicious dessert. We will definitely be back some day!
We went for our 20th wedding anniversary. Cello was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend it to everyone
Being understaffed with a minimal menu was the main problem. We understand that is the world we currently live in. Nevertheless it was not a great experience that we could recommend. No interest in returning.
Greeter did not greet at all. Waiter was ok. Food could have used some seasoning. It was average. Desert options were lacking at best. It feels like the place wants to be high end but doesn’t need some tweaking. We stayed at the resort. The resort stay was great.
As always it was a pleasure away from home dining that was delicious and the ambiance amicable. Enjoyed the risotto with filet considerably. Wine was delicious and perfect temperature. Thank you again.
It’s was quite busy but with that said we received timely service
Good good good service 20 dollar corking fee was ok. Large portions a bit much for me I had the Atlantic Salmon my husband
had the Risotto special we left with food. We enjoyed are evening
My husband and I had a wonderful meal and night out at Cello. La Vine was a great server and made us feel special.
Service was just fair. Food was poor. Had a hamburger. No flavor.
We sat outside. The server Sam was great. The only complaint would be the flys and people bringing their dogs to dinner. Constant barking. It’s not what I would of expected for my 19th wedding anniversary.
The staff were very friendly and the food was fresh. Definitely a great experience.
We eat at Cello whenever we are in Paso Robles. It is a very nice place, excellent food and service. (I would have to add, however, that prices have increased considerably --- probably trying to recover from the pandemic)
We were there for our anniversary and would like to personally thank Jack and Alan for taking such good care of us and making the evening so special!
This was an excellent restaurant. The spinach artichoke ravioli was superb as was the Caesar salad. The service was great and the prices reasonable
This was my first reservation here, and we enjoyed ourselves. They were able to accommodate us before our scheduled time. The service was great and food was amazing.
Limited menu and average quality of food.
Our server was nice but the restaurant was definitely understaffed.
Poor service - nice ambience but food was mediocre not what you would expect for such a nice hotel . Service was sub par.
Excellent food in a magnificent hotel. Good wine list and killer desserts.
