At Cellar Door we believe in seasonality, locality and quality. This is reflected in the dishes we create and the drinks we serve.

We are an independent bar and bistro located in Hereford City Centre producing food that is packed full of flavour and made from scratch by our team of talented chefs. Hereford’s strong agricultural roots are important to us so we always strive to use the best local produce including ingredients sourced from our own Restaurant Garden when the season allows.

At Cellar Door, preparing dishes to fit a variety of dietary needs is our priority so we not only serve the juiciest Herefordshire steaks and other meats sourced from our local butcher but also have a selection of beautiful fish dishes and intricate vegetarian and vegan dishes to choose from.

didn't realise when i booked dinner that the band would encourage lots of non eaters through the door, good for business but not quite the quiet dinner we had planned. Lovely place but we wont be visiting on a Saturday evening again.

We had the St Valentines taster menu which all in all the food was very good quality albeit small portions considering it was £45 each person. The staff were very good and very polite and service was also efficient. It was a nice treat for a special occasion such as this but I do think the price was excessive for what we received.

The food was different and really very good, but because all the inside surfaces - floor, walls and roof are hard and there were some very loud customers the noise level at times was almost intolerable. It was difficult to have a conversation. There were four of us and we would like to go again, but some means of softening the sound is needed, eg soft furnishing on the walls etc.
