   We had an early booking so were seen to immediately and shown to a nice table in corner with the one only & only sea view. This was nice . Waitress was pleasant & very attentive. Food was amazing. My husband had the chicken in cream sauce & I had the sea bass both spectacular. We shared portion of green veg. We were both quite full so decided just to have coffee & a handmade truffle each afterwards .This was also fabulous. Woukd not hesitate to recommend.

   Our goto dine out when on holiday. Just wonderful simple food done well. We had sea bass and haddock mains. Sticky toffee pudding best in world.

   Birthday meal for my husband. Had never been here before and we certainly weren’t disappointed. Food, service and ambience were exceptional. Will certainly return here when we visit st ives next time.

    Our favourite restaurant in St Ives, we always make sure we book in when we book a trip. And it didn’t disappoint. The hake was delicious and the steak cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to book again

    This was a very good evening. The setting is very lovely, not too quiet where you are afraid to speak normally but pleasant ambiance. The food was spectacular I will definitely come back

    We ate at the Cellar Bistro yesterday evening. We have eaten here before and never been disappointed. Last night was no exception. I had the Chicken Supreme. It was beautifully cooked and came in a delicious mustard, tarragon and white wine sauce. My partner had herb crusted hake with pea and mint purée which he said was cooked perfectly. We were too full to sample the desserts but they looked lovely. The restaurant was quite full but the service and ambiance were excellent. We will be back!

    Portions are large, so don’t be seduced to go for a very filling starter unless you are sure you can manage a substantial main course too. Everything was perfectly cooked and of a very high quality. We can wait to visit again next time we are in the vicinity.

    Would absolutely recommend this restaurant, lovely ambience and food was absolutely delicious! Just one comment ……no one was offered to have their coats taken to a cloak are so all diners had coats hanging over the back of their chairs which I wouldn’t expect of a restaurant of this quality.

    Excellent in every aspect. I would recommend to my closest friends that they should visit whenever they are in St Ives. We both had the hake and, having eaten in many restaurants around the world, we both agreed that this was one of the nicest dishes we had ever tasted. The service could not be faulted - just excellent all round. A wonderful evening. Thank You.
