We visit HHI several times a year and decided to visit Celeste due to good reviews. Obviously, we visited on a bad night. It took our server Nardia approximately 10 minutes to greet us after seated. Through out our meal she was non- existent and it appeared we were her only table in the dining room. The other servers in the dining room were always present. When she ask if we were ready to order, I ask about the specials as we heard the server at the next booth rattle off 3 specials. Nardia told us “no, there is just one special that I’m aware of.”🤷🏻‍♀️ Our order Fried Green Tomatoes were hard and not warm, but have the potential to be better. Wedge Salad came in three parts with different toppings on each section. Very disconnected! The lettuce was bitter and the middle section was the lettuce core. The salad was returned to the kitchen. The server didn’t make an attempt to apologize for poor food. Pan Seared Cajun Grouper was a good dish served with dirty rice and haricots vert. Had to request refills on water, tea. Wasn’t ask if we wanted another glass of wine until the glass was pushed to the table edge. We were celebrating a birthday and it was noted on Open Table but it was never mentioned. The restaurant is loud with chatter and no background music to soften the atmosphere. We were going to make a reservation for Sunday Brunch and decided against it after poor service and food. Never saw management which could be the problem in a nutshell! Don’t think we will return.

We love Celeste:) We have dined there multiple times and have only once had any complaints — with an undercooked pork chop. Otherwise, always delicious and above the fray. The one thing I would change is the “stiff” factor— the atmosphere is a bit rigid but the food makes up for it. Perhaps they could add background music or something to lighten the feel/mood of the restaurant. The bar is very relaxed and welcoming - if the entire restaurant could share in that relaxed mood - the restaurant would be perfect!

Menu/fare very good, design/decor, ambiance refreshingly contemporary and a “chill” vibe. Unfortunately, service quality and attentiveness lacking. Pong delay between seating snd server arrival and even longer between drink order and arrival. Sort that out and it would easy be a “go to”.

Loved our first visit to Celeste. Our server, Deidre was courteous, friendly and efficient. A real pleasure. The dinner was fantastic. Started with the char broiled oysters with a main of blackened redfish on gouda grits and a blue crab etoufee. Delicious. The Mrs raved about her blue crab appetizer and bacon wrapped scallops for her main. Finished off with a crime brûlée. Great food, great experience. Will definitely be back.

Ordered a double "cup" of Andouille and Shrimp Gumbo to make it a bowl for an entre' and it had about a quart of gravy and three shrimp. Would definitely not recommend ordering this. Wife ordered a whole lobster for $60 which was supposed to be about 1 1/2 pounds but it was more like a one pounder. So, $3.75/ounce total weight or about $10/ounce of actual lobster meat. Tuna appetizer was very good as was our server Kara On the positive side, they did not charge the corkage fee (not sure if $25 or $30) or the beignets for desert. Still, $200 for two of us including tip. Very poor value given the price. Interior is extremely nice though1

Lovely restaurant. Ambiance very relaxing. Service attentive, but not intrusive. Food was delicious. I had seafood scampi. My companion had gnocchi. Both were delicious. However, it is kind of pricey and the sides were extra.

What a delicious meal. We had flown all day and this was an excellent dinner to start our vacation. We had a special pumpkin infused whiskey smoked old fashioned to start followed by sharing a delicious not so ordinary wedge salad. I had the crab risotto with scallops and asparagus. Very tasty. It was just a bit more than I could eat yet my husband loved finishing it! He throughly enjoyed his crab cakes atop of dirty rice and a fried green tomato. Very good! Highly recommend and a definite revisit

our server was great and recognized the birthday we were celebrating. they even brought out gluten free bread. they did bring out the wrong appetizer but corrected the problem. the restaurant otherwise is beautiful and has a very elegant feel.

Excellent specials, appetizers and salads can make a meal. Entree's are a great combo of "comfort" expectations and more adventurous. All great. Service nothing short of fantastic. Attentive without any feeling of rushing. They know when we are ready or need something and don't interfere. Kitchen is very adaptable to special requests like none of this or more of that.

Food was above average although my pork chop was a little tough. Diedra provided excellent service and added significantly to our enjoyment of the evening. Champagne toast to our anniversary was a noce touch.

We cannot say enough about our experience at Celeste! Every single team member was welcoming, gracious, patient, and informed! We had such an amazing evening- the food was delicious, I especially loved the steak salad with the squash croutons, and then Bread Pudding was to die for! We’ll be back again and again! This was our first visit to Celeste. The gumbo was fantastic, even though it did not include rice. The redfish with Gouda grits was excellent as well. Overall, we would highly recommend.
