Great service great food and a great time

This was one of the best date nights we have ever had. We are locals and like to go eat at different restaurants whenever we can get a babysitter. We were greeted with an incredible warm smile. From beginning to end our experience at Celadon was incredible. The cocktails were delicious, and the food was outstanding. I ordered the fillet mignon and my wife ordered the chicken and they were both cooked to perfection. We look forward coming back many times and we will tell all of our friends about how delicious and amazing this restaurant is.

Great spot to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant was inviting-had a beautiful patio area and the inside was quaint. The service was great as well!

Enjoyable dinner before a show. The menu was diverse but not overwhelming. The food was well prepared and tasty, but clearly slanted to please the Napa tourist crowd. For example, the flash pan-seared calamari was ordinary and a little disappointing because it was breaded. Pan seared to me means just that; not something breaded that looks deep fried (and familiar to what tourists might see at a burger and wings bar). On the plus side it was fresh and not over cooked.

The patio was nice but noisy. Inside was quieter. The menu is moderately priced but a good overall value. The corkage fee is understandable and not unreasonable, and though we ordered cocktails (so did not pay it) you can bring a bottle of what you purchased to enjoy in the restaurant.

Friendly and very attentive service. I felt as though everyone took the time to make sure that we had an enjoyable experience.

Celadon is losing its former excellence. Way undercooked broccolini. Very few menu changes—same old.

First time at Celedon. Fish special was very good, included a nice amount of fresh vegetables and sauce for a consistent bite. Server was not super friendly and had limited interaction. Food was good and nice vibe. I'd give them another chance the next time we are in Napa.

The food continues to be very good at Celadon. It was our first time for lunch. We were seated near the fireplace and I found that to be very cozy since it was a big chilly. My husband and I shared the appetizer cheese plate and it was very nice. My sliced steak was medium rare just as ordered. I took a lot home for later. They included a complimentary dessert since it was our anniversary. We both thought that was a nice touch.

Inside quiet, outside a bit noisier, but nice ambience and great food

Food was good and we'd definitely go back next time we're in Napa. Giving one less star because we ate pretty lite and didn't try enough of a variety to give a better assessment. Service wasn't bad, but lacked the interpersonal connection we usually make with our servers. Otherwise, we had a good experience.

Just an fyi...The lady at the table next to us ordered steak. She complained that it was too tough.

My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday. First of all the service was great, everyone was very friendly. My husband loved the rustic warehouse design and most importantly the food was very flavorfull! We will definitely be going back!

Well, as I loved the ambiance, I must say I was very disappointed in the menu, very limited and not much of a selection.

My friend and I are locals and we wanted to celebrate some recent achievements so we decided to go to Celadon (it was a first time for the both of us). This place is great!

This restaurant is definitely in my top 3 of all time. I travel extensively and this was simply amazing. Best PORK CHOP EVER. I mean it... And I'm a Nebraska guy.. Wine list is as expected, awesome, Pinot Noir Party....

This was our first visit to Celadon which is located a great location in Napa, downtown on the Napa River. The ambiance is wonderful and the service impeccable. The food was outstanding from start to finish. My wife has a delicious endive salad with pecans and I had a salad with coconut prawns with a sweet Thai chili flavoring on a bed of mixed greens and spinach in a sesame vinaigrette dressing. It was fantastic. We both had steamed mussels with dried tomato and smoked applewood bacon. Wish we had a way to bring the broth home, it was so delicious.
To cap it off we shared a huge delicious lemon meringue pie with a Grand Marnier sauce. This is a truly "go-to" restaurant.

The food was exquisite, the wait staff profesional and charming the setting was amazing! The most beautiful landscaping I've ever seen.

Celadon was wonderful! The service is the best in Napa. You get a very warm, authentic feel and great service is the priority. The food was amazing! I had the Sole, Crab Cakes to start, husband had the Lamb. Not one single complaint, or room for improvement. Thank you!

I brought my wife here for a nice early easter dinner. Everything was very nice the food was all fantastic they had a nice wine list and the service was on point. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone we really enjoyed ourselves.

Amazing food, wine, service and patio seating with a fireplace. Even have off the menu wines available. Will definitely go back.

The service was very good. However, the food wasn't so good. Three of us ordered the chicken club sandwich. The "European style" buns were so over cooked, dry, and hard that we could not bite into them. We had to take the sandwich apart and eat it with our forks. The calamari appetizer was very tender and we were enjoying it until we found a hair in it. It wasn't a very pleasant experience. The manager came and spoke to us and apologized. He did comp us for one sandwich.

Celadon never ceases to amaze me with the quality of food and wonderful service. The people who serve you treat you like royalty - and we're locals! The owner is especially gracious and welcoming.

Great food with attentive, friendly service in a very comfortable atmosphere at reasonable prices. Sommelier was very helpful in choice of wine for difficult pairing.

I was pleased from the immediate warm greeting and the desire to deliver satisfaction. The venue is very beautiful and comfortable but not stuffy.

Food is great, the staff outstanding.., the drinks were a bit off as to authentic taste but I am particular so take this with a grain of salt. (Long island Ice Tea)

"Overall Great Spot To Enjoy A Meal With Friends or Family"

We sat in the courtyard area and it was delightful! At first we were seated at a secluded corner table. We asked if we could be moved to window table overlooking the garden area and our request was happily granted. The food was absolutely amazing. We started with the calamari appetizer.... delicious! Both of us opted for the sole and were very happy with our choice. Our plates were filled with more than ample delicious sole, potatoes and vegetables. We had no room for dessert, but if you can save room the dessert menu looked very good. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. I will definitely return to Celadon when visiting the Napa area. A wonderful dining experience in downtown Napa.
