Cedar Creek Inn - Brea
Cedar Creel Inn-Brea is a great place to come for an enjoyable lunch or dinner. The menu contains items not found in most restaurants. Be sure to save room for their desserts.
Great food, wonderful service always a special treat.
Excellent food. My prime rib was outstanding. Service was fantastic; Tom our server was attentive. Enough privacy to carry-on a conversation without screaming. The coconut cake was the best. We’ll be back!!!
Nice location for a nice meal. Food was good, service was good and it is a pleasant restaurant. Enjoyed our experience.
Both the swordfish and the filet mignon were delicious . Would recommend to friends and family.
Tom was working hard to supply service
Consistently great food and generous portions. Nice upscale atmosphere, and great service. Been a favorite place for holidays and special occasions too.
First, let me say the service we had was excellent! Unfortunately, they don't control the food. My steak was ordered medium rare and it came out dry and well done. Everything else was flavorless except the mashed potatoes that they put mustard in. They were well...awful! The pastry chef didnt do much better. All 4 of us agreed we wouldn't ever go back.
This restaurant is one of our favorites. Service is always excellent with long term servers. Tom was our waiter for the last 3 visits and remembers our needs and wants.
Will be back again shortly.
Meeting friends who hadn’t been together for a while. The waitress was wonderful. We had the best visit ever.
Ate at Mastro’s in Newport last night, will never go back. Entertained another family to Cedar Creek and the meal, the service and the ambiance was spectacular. Loved it and will be back.
Last night we celebrated a birthday of a dear friend and everything is always good except for one reoccurring problem, every time I order a dish that has a side of mashed potatoes they are never hot!!! I realize they have to have a ton of it ready but if they are keeping the pot of it over boiling water they take it off the top instead of mixing it from the bottom! How hard is this? I even mentioned it to our server and no luck!
Otherwise we love it there!
Meet friends for lunch there often. We sat on the patio this time, the service was just so, so!
The food was great as always, but the waiter never brought that delicious cheese bread with our salads that they are famous for! whay!!
Disappointed in the food. Salad seemed wilted and the salmon was average at best. I have had several great meals at Cedar Creek but this wasn’t very good. Maybe they have a new chef
Great overall experience from good to service. Dessert was incredible
great food, sevice and ambiance, we love to eat there
As always, food, service and ambiance were all excellent. Server was very attentive and staff were friendly. A great restaurant!! You
We really appreciated our server, Maryann, for her excellent advice, patience and concern recommending the perfect meal for my special needs! She was attentive and personable. The Mexican Sea Bass was delicious!
Overall dinner was good not great but our server and seemed to be lost and confused. I wasn’t going to let it ruin out night as I could see she was overwhelmed from the start and maybe to many tables and maybe lacks training. Never saw her till almost after we were done with dinner and never came by to ask if our meals were good. She asked if we wanted dessert and my brother ordered a dessert and she dropped off the check as we asked where is our dessert?? Server was clearly not listening. I had brought my own bottle of wine and called and asked the corking fee and was told over the phone $15 but on the check I was charged $20 but I just didn’t bother telling the server since I didn’t want the hassle.
We found this place to be a great experience. The waiter was very pleasant and accommodating. The food was excellent even though just a bit on the higher side. The place was busy so I recommend reservations. A bit noisey because of so many people. We will go back.
So Sad, the Service was Excellent. The food was beyond disappointing. My husbands Filet Mignon was tough and overcooked. Prime rib nothing special. We will not be back.
the overall experience was very good however, one meal that we have ordered before came and the pasta was dry. Unusual for this place. Management took care of it and the rest of the meal was fine
Just another fun family get together at Cedar Creek. Seating was good and hello to Thom and Nathaniel.
Salmon was “lecker” and substitutions accommodated. Children played by fountain and humor sprang forth. Books allowed.
Thanks Cedar Creek for another considerate dining interlude in the hills of Brea. Art in Public can be seen on the way in and out.
Our dining experience would have been more pleasurable if there had been less overall noise and fewer out-of-control children with clueless parents seated nearby.
As always, Cedar Creek in Brea is consistent with their food preparation and their excellent service!
Their food is always served HOT, and always tastes great. Some of our favorites include; coconut shrimp appetizer, Cedar Creek dinner salad, meat loaf, and of course their fresh Halibut, when available. And let's not forget their wonderful cheese bread, and coconut cake for dessert! Definitely one of our favorite places to have dinner!!
Excellent menu selection. Outstanding food. Very good service.
Father’s Day celebration! Cedar Creek Inn food and ambiance were perfect. Wonderful dinner.
We arrived at 2 pm for the brunch which ended at 3 pm. The waiter was polite but kept rushing us. The Moscow mule was poorly made and the waiter overcharged us for an item but did correct it. The food was prepared properly but the service was poor. It was a disappointment for our Father’s Day meal.
Monte Cristo was meh, but it was father's day so maybe it was a little hectic? Salmon was amazing! Either way, definitely coming back soon!
Ordered prime rib pretty much tasteless
Our waiter was slow at getting our drinks and bread basket. His personality was not pleasant. We usually love the restaurant, this time not so much.
Fathers Day Brunch
We have been many times, and I typically order the Cedar Planked Salmon for brunch. I did not want to ruin my husband's Father's Day celebration(a day ahead) by sending this back. The fish was "mushy" and fell apart on the fork.
I know what a good piece of salmon is here, and this was the worst I had ever experienced. Could not believe it...My husband had steak & eggs which were very good, however...The service was also not the best, and it this time in the afternoon our waitress was not on overload. We had to request the "goodie" basket of muffins, danish, etc. that she had forgotten. Oh well, we have always been exceedingly pleased in the past with a rating of very good & great! Have always experienced more attentive service in the past.
We always enjoy our meals at Cedar Creek and definitely will return.
Great time, good memorie. Diffinetly share with my family and friends.
Food was fantastic.
Customer service was 2nd to none.
We will definitely be returning customers!
Our go to place for a nice dining experience. The food, service and entertainment are all outstanding.
Is it just me or does the Salmon get better each time we visit? We used open table for both immediate and future reservations.
Great dinner here on a sunny Friday. Thom was cordial and knew our favorites. Kindness flows here like a fountain.
Grateful for Cedar Creek Inn and the happy memories made often. Breadsticks are delicious. Loved our table in the light.
Great food in a pleasant atmosphere where you can have a great meal and enjoy your company with some great wine.
