Cedar Creek Inn - Brea
Birthday. Food was great, service average.
We try to visit at least once per week because the food is excellent and the service top notch!
Loved the ambiance as well as the food. It was delicious. Very helpful and friendly staff. Might want to block off the area where you folks get water and utensil and stuff, no one likes the view of the kitchen. Other than that it was lovely and I’ll go again
Natural light comes in a trajectory of rays on the east side of the dining room. For years lunches and dinners here sustain.
A signature dessert is “Coconut Cake Supreme” and catalyzes smiles on the pink and cream colored faces of diners.
Cedar Creek Inn is the Open Table “Diners Choice” award holder and offers elegant interiors with lounge and outdoor dining.
Cedar Creek is our go to restaurant for special occasions.
I’ve been many times and I love this place, the last visit was great the service was fantastic, my food was good but my husbands dish wasn’t very good the cook was good on the filet mignon but it was very chewy and didn’t taste good due to the meat being so chewy.
The food was pretty good. My soup was not hot but it tastes good. The portions were fair. The service started out a little slow, but got better as the crowd thinned out. Our server was very friendly, polite and professional.
We very much enjoy going to Cedar Creek for special occasions. Our only disappointment is that the Strawberry Lush dessert is never available when we go on Sunday!
I had made a reservation to reconcile with an old friend, I stumbled upon Cedar Creek Inn on Apple Maps and decided to give it a try. As I walked in the environment automatically captivated my attention. My date and I proceeded to the entrance and they greeted and sat us down at our table right away. The waiter was very genuine and attentive. The wine was exquisite and tasteful. The salmon and the meatloaf were perfectly cooked and the location of the restaurant was a peaceful and well lit place. Overall, great place and the price was understandable considering the variables that factored in that night. Thank you Cedar Creek Inn,
I was a bit disappointed that my reservation for four had been cancelled. I didn't find out until I received the email from Open Table. The person who seated us was gracious. He did not mentioned that our reservation had been cancelled.
Nice place to go for a date night or special occasion
I have always had good food at Cedar Creek, but Tuesday night was an off night. 3 of us had the cesear salad and found the dressing bland and not much of it.
My prime rib was very overcooked.
One dinner, the halibut, was over cooked, a third dinner, rack if lamb was super, the fourth dinner, chicken was good. So, a mixed bag.
First time at Cedar Creek but it definitely will not be my last! Everything was great; ambience, food, service. The menu is so large and varied that everyone will find something they love.
Girls night!! Hello PRIME RIB!! We were seated promptly and our server was bang on. Had our cocktails within minutes and his attentiveness throughout our meal was quite impressive. I started with the French onion soup that was the perfect temperature. Not too salty. Just the right amount of cheese. The house salad and Caesar salads were both crispy and well dressed. We all had the prime rib. Various temperatures- all perfectly served. Tender, delicious and super yummy. Will definitely be back.
Our server, Thom Gomez, was exceptional, but the food was just average. In fact, one of the meals was not edible and had to be replaced. We come all the time and we were very disappointed with our overall experience.
We went for brunch, because let's be real...Weekends were made for brunch and unlimited mimosas. We all ordered steak and eggs. The stark was cooked perfect as well as the eggs. The country potatoes were hard and a little nonexistent on our plates. I really enjoyed the mimosas and the waitresses were very attentive.
Shelly is a terrific, personable, efficient server. Loved our lunch and can't wait to do it again!
I had the Ahi burger and it was as good as usual. My friend had the salmon salad which he said was one of the best salads he had ever tasted. The turkey sandwich my wife had was good but rather ordinary.
Cedar Creek Inn has a varied menu and the wait staff is eager to assist patrons in any special needs they might have. The wait staff is attentive without being intrusive and they are always courteous. I have never been disappointed with my dining experience(s) at Cedar Creek Inn and it is my "go to" choice for special events and get togethers with friends.
As always, the service at Cedar Creek Inn Brea was excellent and the food was superb!! Shelly is an exceptional waitress who is extremely attentive and who make one’s dining experience even better. The restaurant’s seafood fettuccine and salmon plate are prepared to perfection and are well presented, not to mention delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Favorite place to meet friends & family.
Always wonderful service & food is fairly priced & excellent.
Must have: COCONUT CAKE!
I had been to Cedar Creek in early March and the food was good and the service was good. This time however, on a Sunday eve. they were offering a steak and lobster special for $45. The steak was supposed to be filet. What I got for my $45 was a piece of beef about 1/2 in. thin, 3 sq. inches in size, and dry, not juicy. The lobster tail was tough and stringy. They did have drawn butter, and the potatoes were good. However, for the price we paid, Cedar Creek should never offer that “special” again. There was nothing “special” about it. My wife had the prawns, and after tax and tip, we got out of there for $110. No drinks, no dessert. Not recommended!
A lovely place to celebrate a birthday! Delicious food, not crazy crowded, and a nice atmosphere with great service.
ok- not one to complain... But the food was not very good. The prime rib was dry.. very dry. We had asked if they could make a chicken alfredo(substitute)- and it was not close to chicken alfredo. The service and ambiance was nice. It still one of my favorite place to eat.
Lovely time and truly lively with Thom. Service is/was superb. Split charge was $7.00 and includes separate plates.
Restaurant at capacity this evening and the salmon was practically perfect. Water was flowing and the appearance of kindness.
Flowers at the table. Ladies wore spring dresses. “Ghost houses” and if they negatively/positively impact our community was discussed. Libations delighted many.
Ideal place for lunch or dinner; I especially love their entree salads ~ great service and ambiance!
This restaurant is consistently good! We have had several work parties here and just a great place to meet up with friends. I would highly recommend to anyone!
Liked the calamari!
Great service! Great food!
Had a nice date night at Cedar Creek Inn. Service was excellent. Food was good. Ambiance was good. The live music was awesome as well. Overall a very nice evening out.
The food and service at Cedar Creek Inn are always consistently excellent!!
Liked the calamari!
The breakfast and drinks were great. The cappuccino was not good as they have a new machine and was a bad drink overall. It was replaced with water as that is what my guest asked for. Hope the machine is working soon.
As always very good everything, thanks. My only recomendation if possible when going there for brunch have the flexibility of ordering from the dinner menu too.
Accurate, timely service. Very pleasant wait staff. Fantastic food.
Food was cool, because of restaurant week I’m sure, potatoes were actually cold. Very loud, again restaurant was full at 7pm.
The food is reasonably priced and tasty. The ambience is comforting , even when there are large parties nearby. People understand common courtesy. The service is consistently top notch. All staff are friendly and gracious!
OC RESTAURANT WEEK WAS GREAT!
Oh, the food! My Mom and I went for OC Restaurant Week. Lobster Capuccino was incredible. NY strip was good. The warm Toll House pie with ice cream made me wonder why they don't start with dessert. The only negative I always have with Cedar Creek is that it is too dark and too loud. I suggest sitting on the patio. It was too cold and rainy to do that the evening we were there.
