Food was very good as usual. Had a party of 10 and where they put us was so loud I couldn’t hear the person sitting directly across from me.
Dinner was excellent, service was awful, took 20 minutes to get a waiter to come to the table after we were seated. Asked the hostess 2x for someone to come to the table so we could order drinks! Had to ask the waiter to light our candle in the middle of the table. Then service was fine. Might not be the waiter's fault. maybe low staff that night. But you all lost on a whole round of extra drinks!
Max was an excellent waiter.
One of my favorite go-to spots on the East Side of Cleveland. The happy hour is one of the best! Great food prices and goes late enough so I can actually make it in time.
We love Cedar Greek. The only problem with this restaurant is the size of the forks. They are so huge that it’s difficult to get them in your mouth!
The noise makes conversations difficult!
Stopped in for dinner later in the evening. Didn't appear too busy. Service was fairly slow and inattentive. Couldn't tell if the server had too many tables to explain the wait from sitting to ordering and delivery of bread. Asked another staff member (?Bus boy) but also didn't get a service response. Food was well prepared. Drinks were also well prepared.
Everyone at our table agreed, the food was delicious! Hands down, the BEST calamari we've ever had. The service was excellent. Very relaxed but extremely attentive.
It was my dates first Time there and she really enjoyed it. Will be back
Good to be with friends.
ALWAYS a good meal. Never disappointed. Creative and delicious cuisine.
Our service and food were both excellent. However, the noise level was so high we considered leaving before ordering. We would not recommend this restaurant if you want to talk to your dining companions. If you wear ear plugs, the food is worth it.
Service was sub par, waited almost thirty minutes before our drinks were brought out, and the waiter was not attentive.
Met our niece and her boyfriend (both are student at John Carroll) for a late Sunday dinner. Love the ambience here- a nice mix of contemporary and traditional that works well- not too formal. Crab cakes were very good as was the blackened fish sandwich. Our server, whose name I can’t recall, was very good- attentive but not overly so. A place to return to!
I dine at Cedar Creek frequently for business and pleasure lunches and dinners. I appreciate the consistency in service and food quality and preparation.
Food was good, very good service, friendly, however it was cold where we were seated. It was in the front of the restaurant, sunnier location rather than the darker main dining room, but because it was only in the 30s outside, this room with all the windows had my guests in their holiday dresses, still wearing their coats...
I have been here before and enjoyed my time and food. This time the food arrived cool. Potatoes were cold, steak slightly warm (2). We were offered to have the food heated. One potato dish came hot the remainder of the food was about the same, not hot. Manager apologized and comped beverages (3 coffee) and the bacon. Will try one more time. Maybe just a bad day. Not great for the birthday boy. The no longer offer gluten free bread but do offer the gluten free waffles.
Very busy and took a very long time to get food....
Very nice place, would definitely recommend this place
First time here. Everything was great I was really impressed with the ambiance of the place. Food was fantastic all around it was a home run. Keep up the good work.
Incredible food, loved the calamari and Thai salad
Seating was fast while the service was marginal. Our entrees were simply delicious with great presentation. We ordered some wine but it did not arrive until after our appetizer was served and then we waited for a considerable amount of time for our entrees.
It was a Very busy Easter lunch but the staff was very attentive. All of the meals were very good.
One of our favorites. Food and service always exceeds our expectations.
Ben was an awesome server! We had a large party and he got every order perfect! He was also very attentive to our needs. The chefs prepared everything accurately. The food was delicious and presented in a very appealing manner.
The food and service here are always first rate!
Another excellent meal at Cedar Creek Grille. Crab cakes, steak frites, lobster bisque - can't go wrong.
Enjoyed our dinner. We will be back soon.
We enjoyed our date night out. Service was outstanding, food was good and I loved the trout. I have been there for happy hour and enjoyed my time with friends
Food was excellent as was the service.
It was fine
Had reservations for 6:45 got there early, hostess said to sit at bar and they'd come get us when table read in about 15 minutes. No problem. 7:15 still not seated, inquired with hostess and they said they couldn't find us???? Other than that enjoyed the evening. Food was great, waiter Mario was excellent.
The food was spectacular! Very nice ambiance. A good time was had by all. And did not feel rushed at all.
The first time I visited Cedar Creek was for my company holiday party. Drinks were strong, food was fantastic, lively atmosphere, attentive staff. Typically, Cedar Creek would be out of our budget for a night out but we ended up with a gift card and thought we’d give it a try! Still loved the feel of the dining area and our server was great! He suggested a wine that I loved and checked on us regularly.
I ordered the Faroe Island Salmon Salad and my boyfriend had crab cakes and fries, and while we both enjoyed our meals, we weren’t blown away by them. Just your run-of-the-mill sort of meals that were advertised as the restaurant’s signature dishes.
We really enjoyed the mood and aesthetic of Cedar Creek, but we most likely wouldn’t go back unless we had another gift card. Overall, it’s just a little too pricy for what you end up with.
We were seated in the patio bar dining area. Was not asked if we wanted to be seated there. I would have said no because even with a fireplace it was very cold. Service great. Food was good but it seemed like we rushed since it was cold and food got cold quickly. So we know better next time. We usually are seated in main dining area.
Service slow the waiter.
Great food. Great service. Great location. Great atmosphere.
Not enough choices! We only eat fish and had 2 choices. The rest of the menu was slim. Also it was TOO Dark.
So why do they bother to ask if its a special occasion at the time of the reservation?
Told them wife's birthday. Didn't mean a thing. No acknowledgement of the occasion by the server.
Server fairly inattentive throughout.
Trout (which I order often) was on the dry side. Overcooked.
FYI, have eaten at Cedar Creek at least 10 times. May not return.
Really enjoyed our first visit to CCG. The food was excellent, and loved the atmosphere. Very nice bar also. Noise level was a bit high, but not over the top. Service could have been more attentive and interactive.
