We were seated in the patio bar dining area. Was not asked if we wanted to be seated there. I would have said no because even with a fireplace it was very cold. Service great. Food was good but it seemed like we rushed since it was cold and food got cold quickly. So we know better next time. We usually are seated in main dining area.
Service slow the waiter.
Great food. Great service. Great location. Great atmosphere.
Not enough choices! We only eat fish and had 2 choices. The rest of the menu was slim. Also it was TOO Dark.
So why do they bother to ask if its a special occasion at the time of the reservation?
Told them wife's birthday. Didn't mean a thing. No acknowledgement of the occasion by the server.
Server fairly inattentive throughout.
Trout (which I order often) was on the dry side. Overcooked.
FYI, have eaten at Cedar Creek at least 10 times. May not return.
Really enjoyed our first visit to CCG. The food was excellent, and loved the atmosphere. Very nice bar also. Noise level was a bit high, but not over the top. Service could have been more attentive and interactive.
While the food was good. I had the Rainbow Trout and it was well cooked and balanced flavors, I had to shout to make myself heard to my cousin sitting immediately to my right. My mother strained all evening to hear my cousin sitting to her immediate left. Made for a less than enjoyable evening.
Bone in strip was very fatty and tough. Sad. As it was their special.
The only thing that would improve my experience is if they either had a gluten-free menu or educated their staff. I have Celiac Disease, so I need to be sure that there isn’t gluten. The server did ask the chef about a salad I chose, and when he delivered it, he said the chef made sure it was completely gluten-free. I appreciated that the server enforced how careful the chef had been.
Exceptional. Portions perfect. Service prompt and professional.
The brunch options were very good and the food exceptional. The server did an outstanding job at a very busy time from the time we arrived to check-backs to check time.
WHAT SOMEWHAT WAS DISAPPOINTING WAS THE NOISE LEVEL OF A GROUP SEATED JUST ABOVE US AND WHILE THE HOSTESS HEARD THE NOISE SHE NEVER MADE ANY EFFORT TO QUIET THE LOUD TALK THAT GOT THE ATTENTION OF OTHERS TOO.
We enjoyed the lobster bisque, the chopped salad and the pork ribs. The serving sizes were generous and very well prepared. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and very efficient. Seating in the terrace area is much quieter than the main room and more conducive to conversation.
Our server was outstanding! And he was SO busy juggling 3 big tables that arrived and departed all at the same time. Great job.
The food - Both the bass and the strip steak - were specials was excellent. The service was just right and the drinks were reasonably priced and a good pour.
Reserved for special occasion. Nicely accommodated. Artichoke appetizer excellent. Steaks, salads very good. Service very good un til waiter had 4 or 5 others tables and we were a table of 6. Other than that it was a great time good food and wine.
Service wasn’t great. Loud
Overall good experience. We will be back!
The experience was great, the staff and food. Got seated right away. The food was amazing. I will be back very soon
This was my first time at Cedar Creek Grille. We were there for a girls night out and very much looking forward to dining with you. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow. We waited far too long to get drinks, then bread and finally dinner. After dinner was done, it took far too long to be offered dessert. As soon as dessert was served though, we had our checks. Our entire party was seated by 6:15 and we did not leave until after 9:30. And we were not there for over three hours because we were visiting after dinner. That is how long it took for us to have dinner, start to finish. I realize that when at a fine dining establishment, dinner is not going to be done in an hour. However, even at a fine dining restaurant, dinner should be two hours tops. I used to work in a fine dining restaurant and we allowed at most two hours for table turns. Over three hours is unacceptable.
I was also disappointed in my meal. Mine was the last to arrive, almost five minutes after everyone else had received their food. When my steak came out it was pretty close to well done, not medium as I had requested. Given that the rest of my party had already waited for me to get my food, I was not about to send my food back as I didn't want the rest of my party to feel that they had to wait for me, nor was I interested in adding more time to an already long dinner.
Overall, my first visit to Cedar Creek Grille was a disappointment and I would probably not return.
Cedar Creek is very noisy. I had requested a table in the Terrace Room but was not offered on upon arrival. Soup was served to the 2 of 4 who ordered it without spoons?! We had to ask for spoons. Service in general started out ok but then seemed to dwindle. Since it was a business dinner with a former colleague from Doith America, I had hoped for more...
we had a wonderful dining experience. Food and ambiance is just perfect.
Was very nice all around
We were 5 and twice they tried to make me sit in a booth for 4 saying they sometimes get a group of 6 in that table. After I refused twice they gave me a table that could accommodate us.
I was among six friends who met for dinner Saturday night 2/24/18. We were at the table for an hour and five minutes and only had drinks and a basket of bread before any other food came to our table. Our server was nice but never checked on us much nor apologized for whatever the issue was. Not sure if the kitchen was backed up or not but it was a very slow night. When soup arrived at the table I waited almost 8 minutes before a spoon was brought to the table. I ordered a half salad and a full one came; I was not charged for it but what a waste. We saw a manager walking around asking customers how their night was, however, this person never came to our table to check on the six of us. If she had we would've given her an earful.
The Grille is a good place to eat, but the noise level is a bit if a problem. The service is good and the food is very good. Next time we go I'm going to ask if there is a quite table so we can hear each other talk. The noise is the only fault I can find.
The food was excellent and the wait was very short. The atmosphere was very cozy and staff was very knowledgable about the menu selection.
We appreciated their willingness to accommodate 8 people although our reservation was for 5.
All the food was good & the service was friendly 7 efficient.
I had the kale salad with a piece of salmon. Everything was very good.
I had a veggie burger which was the only vegetarian item on the menu. The burger was outstanding. The fries had something to be desired. It would be nice if this restaurant and others as well, would include more veggie options. There are more than a few of us out there. Another member of our group had a steak that he said did not have a lot of flavor but said it was good and very tender. Overall, we enjoyed the meal even though the noise level was pretty high.
Birthday business lunch with associates.
Server was pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. Sat at table we requested and like, near the entrance and accessible for a walker.
This was our second time here and it was just as good as the first. The crackers they bring out while you're waiting are awesome ! Good service and good food.
We were at this restaurant celebrating a friends birthday. The food and service was great and so was the atmosphere. Prices were good too. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Loved making reservation on line, so easy. Our service was sub par.
The service was great and the food was very good but the noise level was a bit loud.
The overall experience was ok. I enjoyed happy hour service at the bar than my dining experience. Things were a little slow and they sat us in the far back . Also the lighting was inadequate. I know they were setting the mood but it was difficult to read the menu .
Also our experience might have been better with a different server.
Our server was attentive, not pesty, the salmon and trout were fantastic. We would definitely recommend!
The food is always fabulous and the service was terrific
My husband and I decided to eat here for Valentine’s Day and use a gift card that we’d been holding on to. From the door, everyone was very nice. We were greeted and escorted to our seats with smiles. Even though it was busy the waiter continually checked on us. The food took about 10-13 minutes to come out which was much faster than we’d expected. The meal was hot which was great b/c that means it wasn’t sitting up in the window for minutes.
They were out of cider which was a bummer. I was looking forward to a mocktail. I got a lemonade instead and it was delicious.
It was wonderful! Food was great
