Was an amazing experience. The waiter was very polite with us. I strongly recommend
Quadruple birthday celebration. Lovely private area downstairs. We were a party of 13
Love their Ravioli Della Casa it is AMAZING!!!
Great location for pre-theater, nice prix fixe menu and attentive service - all great!
Family of four! Wonderful for children 9 and 11. Great value.
The food was amazing!! The service was top notch. What more could you ask. We will be back
It was our daughter’s birthday which I indicated on the reservation when I confirmed on the phone and when we arrived to check in. No acknowledgement of the day. The year before a group of wait staff sang and she had a small cake and a candle etc. otherwise everything was great
Ate here before a show. My wife is a Celiac and they were very gluten friendly. Food taste was average.
See all my previous reviews to know how wonderful Ceci's has always been and more than likely will always be since it is owned and run by members of a previous restaurant. Food, service, greetings and ambiance are most often great. This visit however, there was one large table of nine that must have put earplugs in their ears before coming in and then raised their voices to talk with one another to compensate.
I'm glad I had my drinks!
Next time will be like last time, not this time. Enjoy you visits. 99.99999% of them will be GREAT!
Highly recommend, one of best meals I’ve had in awhile!
Food was fresh, attractive plated and delicious. I enjoyed the beet salad , my mother had the salad with roasted shrimp and lobster ravioli which she enjoyed . The calamari was crispy and not at all greasy- so delicious. Service was prompt courteous and not over bearing. It was a lovely before theatre lunch
Good quick service. Comfortable pre theater dining.
Restaurant is well located and way to find.
Good very good
Service was average
Ambiance is lovely
Great food and service.
All the food was delicious. We enjoyed the atmosphere which was quiet as the service was top notch . Would eat here again when I am in town.
We came for lunch before a show. It was blessedly quiet and the food was very good!
Good food, good service, but not a bargain. For these prices, the food should have been OUTSTANDING... it was merely good.
Sea bass with mussels clams cream sauce under seasoned and fish - either wasn’t sea bass or undercooked. Salad with artichoke hearts, arugula, sun dried tomatoes ok. Super Tuscan not super.
Well-prepared and attractively presented Italian food. Friendly, attentive service. Very convenient to the theater district. A hidden gem!
Large bug crawled up wall next to us. Disturbing
We had a bad experience eating here. Stood at the door and were ignored for over 5 minutes on arrival. Sat in a table crammed against the wall near the wait station and bar. The bathroom is disgusting including a reeking urinal. The food was okay but expensive for what it is. I cannot recommend this place. When I left a bad review of them on Yelp, they posted a reply asking me to come back, but I will never go back. It's just not worth it.
Food was not seasoned well and too charred.
Perfect moment in family
Very good pastas and tiramisu
Went to New York for a matinee. Lunched at Ceci. Food was very good. Home made pasta dish was great. Service was very good. Would eat there again.
It was really good classic Italian. Not the best I've ever had but definitely would recommend it to friends and family.
Dinner following a matinee show on Broadway. The restaurant is long and narrow but has a nice feel. Nice atmosphere and a moderate noise level. The food was tasty and good sized portions. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I took a shot based on the reviews and I was pleasantly surprised. I’d definitely go back.
He food was amazing and the service was as good as I have experienced in a long time. The ambiance is intimate. My only criticism is they do no allow sharing of plates. We left a lot of food at the restaurant and bought more than we could eat. I hate to see food go to waste.
The restaurant accomodated 18 of us from Canada and the service and food were amazing!!!! The staff was so attentive and the food really good. Not only good value for dollar but also a great, cozy, ambiance. We will be back!
Perfect pre-theater restaurant. Wonderful service. Great food.
Great place for after a theatre matinee. The pork ossa bucolic was outstanding!!!
Party of 11. Cozy place. Ambiance OK. Big portions. Pretty delicious all across, from apps to appetizers. Cheap for Manhattan. Server didn't speak English well. Somewhat slow service, zero sense of that special treatment usually given to a big group taking up half of the entire restaurant. Overall decent, good value, not anything special.
Our goodbye lunch for our colleague was a smash hit! We all loved our meals, and the service is excellent.
This was our 2nd visit there since December both experiences were very good . The food's delicious the service was fabulous and the portion sizes were just right.
Great service, friendly staff, delicious food, and good portions. We were visiting from Maryland for our daughter's 13th birthday with friends. The staff took very good care of us! Much appreciated for a lovely dinner.
Enjoyed dinner at Ceci’s before a show on Saturday night. Food was delicious especially the lobster ravioli and the rigatoni pollo. Our second visit here did not disappoint. Be sure to make a reservation because the restaurant was very busy and small but we walked in and were seated right away. We will be back.
It was good except when my friend asked about allergies the staff did not know what foods had what ingredients in them.
I was very skeptical to try this place brining my itailian grandmother and mother who are picky when it comes to food . They both loved it the food was great the wine list needed a little work and the server seemed like she wasn’t happy to have a job my grandma kept making jokes and she just starred at us with no response. For food and location definitely worth it since you can never get into Carmine’s
Cozy and warm place with good food, a good friendly menu and fine service. Would happily go back !
