We had a late dinner there. Really nice service and food was great!
This was our first experience at Ceci but we will definitely return. The service was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious. This is a must for dining with friends and family
Excellent food and service. So many gluten free options. Very kid friendly. Highly recommend- food delicious and reasonably priced.
The food was good. Service was great. Food was better on a previous visit.
Everything was good. Our only complaint was that, after we asked not to be rushed (and there were plenty of empty tables) we received entrees the second our appetizers were cleared.
Sometimes people want "leisurely" especially if they ask for it.
Excellent food at a great value. Service was a little slow. But they were friendly and food was well worth the wait.
Service slow, but good food. Staff friendly and polite.
Stumbled upon this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and quickly accommodated our family of 8. The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive and we didn’t feel rushed! Will definitely visit again!
Friendly staff and fabulous service! Food very very good...our only suggestion, they should give you a larger meal portions--such as more pasta with the meals. then again, we are used to the North End of Boston.
Really good Italian food. Reasonably priced. Excellent.
This place was a great find! We sat in the wine cellar and it was cozy and quiet. We had the fiocchi Quattro formagi as an appetizer -pasta purses filled with pear, ricotta and provolone in a truffle butter sauce and it was absolutely delicious!!!
All of our dinners ,lamb chops, chicken francese, chicken all’s Cecil, eggplant parm and salmon were also really good. Our service was attentive and the tiramisu was homemade. Great food and service.
Wonderful! as always, everything was delicious and the staff made my friend's birthday a memorable one. And looking forward to going back again, love the veal parmigiana.
Good food, good service by staff that cared to please.
We had a very nice meal, the waitress was very helpful , we shared a personal pizza for appetizer and for dinner I had the lasagna, my girlfriend had fiocchi , my dad had a steak and my mom had chicken Parma for the table we had a house salad, it was everything delicious no complains . We had a bottle of red wine also! The service was very good. Cozy place Very relaxing time not being rushed.
Over priced, lousy service, bland food. I felt misguided and uncomfortable. Definitely not worth it.
Potato crusted salmon ...cooked
Perfectly with vegetables and salad. Good cannoli and decaf coffee
What a cute gem. Fancy enough to feel special and to feel like a million buck$! Food was wonderful as well as service. Try it, you will like it ......
I just had an entree which was just right - fish done well and veggies fresh and not overcooked.
My friend was not having a good day and was a bit difficult. The server was very patient.
It was just right for the evening, very nice wine selection ! Delicious carbonara and v sorrentina , a little spicy shrimp and pear salad to start. Waitress was very friendly, smiley and helpful! Manager was attentive for the detail that the glass was empty(half glass) and served us! We wish they had spumoni, but they had tortoni and it was another of my favorite light dessert to end a delicious meal.
From the reception to the farewell everything was great! We were greet and lead to our table, we asked for a booth and it was available! We had house salads to start that besides were beautiful presentation were delicious, served with a homemade Italian dressing. My wife had the tuna rare and it was perfectly cooked and very tasty, I had the pork osso bucco with risoto, very flavorful and feeling. But I will try to eat it when the weather is colder!! Drinks wise we had martinis to star and a bottle of Amarone with our dinner. We shared a tiramisu for dessert that was very good also! While we were eating it came some delivery and the waiter apologized that because the holiday on Monday it was late and joked that at least it was proven that they have fresh vegetables! While leaving the servers were very friendly also
Delicious food. Great choices especially for someone who is gluten free.
Extremely attentive waitstaff and water person!
Perfect for pre-theater.
Very good value for the money!
Will definitely revisit when in NYC!
On arrival, with my wife in a wheelchair, the wait staff ignored our troubles getting in the door and left us to struggle in ourselves. Not a great start!
We only had a single course each. My wife had chicken parmigiana and said the vegetables were cold and tasteless.
I had gnocchi which was chewy and the sauce was over salted. The fries however were good. But if that’s the highlight then I’d say the food was pretty poor.
Finally, we asked for two Americanos and the coffee was just awful! Very weak.
The cost was on the high side for what we had. Two mains, bottle of water, two coffees plus gratuity was coppers under $100.
Won’t be back and defo wouldn’t recommend
They used a lot of frozen produce, especially on the pizzas.
Nice restaurant close to Time Square. Good authentic pasta, efficient service. Somewhat pricey but you are close to Time Square after all. We came on a Sunday night and the restaurant was quiet.
I do not recommend this restaurant. Atmosphere is not good , food is just regular level , too dark for family dinner and price is expensive as well.
So happy we found this place for an after theatre dinner for 12 members of our family to celebrate our 49th anniversary. Great ambiance and service. Between the 3 generations we had the prix fix specials, specialities of the House from the main menu, and personal pizzas for the grandkids. Everything tasted good. Couldn’t be more pleased!
We went for pre-theater get together with friends. It was as expected, nothing special, but solid and predictable.
If you're looking for gastronomy, head for a different neighborhood. If you need someplace professional enough to get you to the theater on time, they're good.
Excellent food! Very nice restaurant!
This was our second visit to Ceci and will always try to go when in NYC. Since the foodis created in the moment they can and are very accommodating to any food sensitivities. Our waitress, Audrey , was very good! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Kitchen was very slow in serving despite letting waitress know we were going to the theater.
Food was great.
Took a group of 12 for dinner after theater and had a great experience! Food was tasty and fresh, with generous portions. Prompt, attentive service. Wide variety of choices to appeal to varying levels of pickiness. And the kitchen had no issue managing a guest with multiple, complex food allergies.
My family and I went to Ceci’s in between two plays on a Saturday. We were seated right away and the wait staff was very attentive with keeping our needs met and our water glasses full. The prices were decent on the wine and food. I ordered a glass of Merlot and it was very crisp. The calamari was delicious and the sauce was tasty. My chicken Marsala with fresh vegetables was very good and my daughter’s ravioli was yummy. My other two children did not like their meatballs and the meat itself looked very light, but they loved the sauce and spaghetti. My husband only ate 1/2 of his chicken parmigiana because he said the sauce and pasta were very good, but the chicken was mediocre. The chocolate cake and tarofu for dessert was very tasty and good portions to share with another. I would go back, but honestly my family said they wouldn’t.
Quality food with excellent portion control. Kids food comes early....
Thought we’d try this before seeing Springsteen. It was ok. Hard to recommend given the prices and quality of food. My crab cake was burnt on the bottom and seemed microwaved. Not a fan.
It was a mediocre experience (the food was average (or just below), the prices no lower than much better restaurants and nothing has been done to make the premises (dining room, rest rooms) appealing (generally - quite run down). The service was fine.
Consistently great food and great service! One of our "go-to" restaurants in NY!
The food is excellent, the problem was the wait. Although we had a reservation for 3 we had to wait nearly 20 minutes for a table.
This is my go to place when I’m in Manhattan to see a show. Consistently good food and service. Last night was chicen breast rolled with prosciutto with a brown mushroom sauce for me and my wife had checken and eggplant parmigiana in a red sauce. Both were terrific. The one intangible i love about this place is that it’s far enough away from all the touristy restaurants in the theater district. Do not pass on this restaurant.
I always enjoy coming here for dinner or lunch. The food is always awesome and the service is great....love it!
