Cecconi's Miami Beach (fka Soho Beach House - Cecconi's) Ratings and Reviews
A local favourite - not te place to go to for great food but ambience makes it a must visit even if you are only in Miami a few days. Service is highly erratic - spent an embarrassing 15 minutes trying to flag down “busy” waiters in a half empty restaurant - Only “your” waiter will take your order and the other waiters have developed an uncanny knack of elegantly avoiding you. Despite the faulty towers service a definite recommend.
Had to wait additional 15 min even with reservation, seated at terrible table and then my meal was served incomplete and had to wait 15 minutes for side dishes after everyone else was finished eating, disappointing after having eaten here multiple other times...
It was my birthday and the place is nice, great ambience but food was nothing to rave about. Our waiter Michelle sucked.. I am not to complain or to put bad reviews but he just didn’t care about our table. Being that the 18% was already included he completely disregarded our table. We had the manager step in and assist in getting us bread and our drink order and constantly asking to get some water. All the tables around us seemed to being helped and being take care of except ours. The appetizers came and before we where finished they took them away. The food came out wrong and the size of the salmon was less than 2 ounces and it seemed like an after thought and just put whatever on the plate. All in all it was a bad disappointment but at least was in good company. Also the valet parking is a rip off. It was $25 and it wasn’t for everybody so make sure you find out why the prices vary and it was like a herd of people and getting your car was a complete disaster and not organized properly. When going out to have good service, good quality of food and being pampered this is not the place to go. Unfortunately, the restaurant is very cute and cozy but with all of the mishaps you couldn’t really grasp the beauty of restaurant. This place is good to get small bites and cocktail at most. Won’t be back for sure.
Not a great start to the evening as they tried to seat us at a table right at the front door. Which we refused, particularly as I had made the reservation weeks in advance. Check in with the Host was totally underwhelming. The good news that after that the service was exceptional (Valentino). The food was good but could have had more flavour.
Nice restaurant but the service was impersonnal and very quick. No time to enjoy our food our wine. As soon as the plate is finish they take away the plates don't even wait for us to come back from to our table to bring the second dishe... pourring wine every 5 minutes even if the glasses were still full...
