The music selection is wonderful and so is the atmosphere. The service was terrible
Half way through my salad the waiter drifted by and asked if I wanted bread. I couldn't find him earlier to ask him and of course shouldn't have to. I had to go to the bar to get Second glass of wine. I was there for a very late lunch and it wa beyond not busy.
I have been here several times , the food and the service is amazing! The view is also great!
I’m shocked by how much I did not like this restaurant. For how expensive it was I really expected the food to be better. The appetizers were great, but my rigatoni was cooked unevenly and wasn’t anything special. The filet mignon was ok, but for $57 it should have been better. Also had the tiramisu and honestly it was pretty bad. The restaurant and ambiance was great but I have no plans to recommend this place of ever go back.
Daniel was great!
Very fancy place to eat. The ambiance was amazing and the food the same. The only thing that could be improved is the amount of people. Could have been less people if I was looking for a quiet date night.
My husband and I live nearby so we frequent Cecconis often - usually just walk-in and sit at the bar. However, we decided to make a reservation since it was Friday night. Our reservation was at 9:15 and we were not seated until after 9:50. I told the hostess that I was disappointed with how long after our reservation we were seated and she said how she was sorry and moved on. I have worked in restaurants and if I was seating someone over 30 mins past their reservation time, I would have tried to do something to make up for the inconvenience, or at least gone out of my way to show that I was actually sorry. It was an overall frustrating evening and changed my view on the restaurant.
It’s a very nice place and the food was delicious. The service was a bit slow but it was worth the wait. Highly recommend it
Nothing special. Ambiance is nice. Service was not spectacular. Portions were small, a bit of a "scene".
Great vibe. Tastefully decorated, and wonderful food.
Great service and great food
Dinner was perfect!
Beautiful restaurant!! We weren't seated by the window unfortunately but the ambience inside was gorgeous! Also their pizza is amazing! Honestly the best pizza I've ever had. Definitely try the pizza if you ever come in. Our entrees were very good as well but they didn't really stand out. My only jive with the experience was that we were seated by a bit of a noisy table but that's out of the restaurant's control.
Always perfect food, service and atmosphere.
Súper lugar, comida deliciosa y vista increíble desde la terraza
Food and service was excellent
We booked a table for 2 at 7:30pm. We waited more then one hour to receive our table. In this time of Covid is really not necessary!!
Our reservation was at 7:30, we arrived 5 minutes early. We weren’t seated at our table until 8:40.
We went to Cecconi’s Dumbo for our 5 year wedding anniversary. We were seated at a very cute 2-top directly beside a large window with a beautiful view of the Manhattan bridge. The food was out standing (highly recommended the Grilled Octopus as an appetizer). The service was superb and payment portion was incredibly efficient. The ambiance was moderately loud and quite dark. The was a small lit candle at our table which provided the majority of our light. Overall it was a delightful experience and will definitely be back
Came for my engagement dinner. Food was delicious. Service was a little weak. Also felt the tables were a little high compared to the booth height. Overall would totally go back
I took my boyfriend for his birthday and he was very happy with my selection. As always lol. We had a window seat and the view was spectacular. The vibe is so good. The food was delicious. The service was great. We really enjoyed ourselves.
I have been there before and for such an expensive place It was a little frustrating to wait so long for food. My friend ordered a glass of wine and it took at least 30 mins to arrive. After we already had to wait for a table despite having a reservation.
We had a great time. Everything was perfect!
It was a wonderful restaurant to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Everything from the ambiance, to the food and service was amazing.
The outdoor area was open and they had all the heat lamps on and the tables were set but they wouldn’t let us sit there. One staff member said the heat lamps were just for show but every staff member seemed to have a different reason.
Food was amazing. Service was ok. Ambience was very romantic and warm on a winter night.
Waiter was horrible. Almost like he wanted us to know he wasnt pleased to serve us lol i still left him his tip. The girl i was with even said something about how unfriendly this waiter is. Dont know his name, Bald guy , wears a fake rolex daytona
Food and service were fantastic however restaurant was uncomfortably warm, we mentioned this to our server who got the AC put on for us however this was turned off again after about 10 mins. Overall would highly recommend though.
Ecellent service and ambiance
Loved it. Great food. Great server.
Had a great time
Overpriced. The pizza is worth going for. Not much else to recommend it for besides the view which is spectacular. They also have plenty of heat lamps on their outdoor seating which is nice.
I came here for the view, I am not disappointed!
Pizzas are good but not the best one ever however I had a crush on the tiramisu !
It was definitively my worst experience in NYC. First of all even though with a reservation we had to wait 25 minutes to get a table. The lady in the entrance was pretty rude and ironic with us. The whole point on making a reservation is avoiding wait when arriving to the restaurant. She didn’t event recognize their lack of organization and was pretty agressive. We weren’t able to get a table outside because there wasn’t availability. Again: we reserved an outside table for 4 people in the exact time we arrived. Later we ordered the truffle pizza and the truffle pasta. Both were below the expectations. It deserves to be mentioned the lack of taste - maybe a salt problem. Besides the pizza came 20 minutes later the pasta and the people with me needed to eat practically in different times. The explanation given by a rude waiter was that “there was nothing to be done as pizza and pasta are made by different kitchens”. It was really bad and I strongly recommend anyone to try Italian options in Timeout or having drinks in the 1 Hotel Rooftop instead of wasting time on Cecconi’s. Really disappointing.
Service from the host, to the waiter to the bus person was atrocious. Worst Cecconi’S experience ever. Understandably things are difficult at this time and we were prepared for things to be slow. That was okay. The entire staff didn’t seem to care or want to be there and that’s a management problem.
SERVICE WAS AWFUL!!!!!!!!! I’m so disappointed that we wasted one of our nights here. We had just spent to the day exploring Wall Street so we had street clothes on but had heard good things about this restaurant so I had made reservations for our family to go here. Not sure if the waiter made an assumption that he wouldn’t receive a good tip so he literally did not wait on us. He had to has several other staff for refills. The pizza was the only decent food. I order a pasta dish and it tasted like it came from a can. My brother-in-law ordered a steak and he said it had zero flavor. I honestly have no idea how this place has so many good reviews.
La comida deliciosa y el lugar espectacular con unas vistas increíbles
Great lunch! They offer branzino -- not easy to find. Mine was beautifully cooked and my husband said his salmon was had the best he's ever had. Despite a 37-degree temperature, we were able to eat outside due to each table having individual heaters. Noise level came from traffic over the Manhattan Bridge mostly. A great place with friendly service. We would definitely return
Amazing from the good drinks and service. Unparalleled
The food was amazing, the view perfect, but the service was not very good
