Beautiful resteraunt, both indoor and outdoor dining experience is wonderful. Food is great but the service is even better.
Too noisy from trains to helicopters but it’s expected.
Lo mejor del Cecconi’s es la ubicación y la vista.
The view is amazing. The menu is a bit limited, but delicious. Totally would recommend. Only downside is, it you sit outside, it can be very noisy because of the metro... but the view out weights it!
Great Pasta & Amazing Views if you’re sat outside.
Decent upscale Italian affair by the water. Pastas were beautifully al dente. Lamb Ragu and kale pesto were excellent. Fried calamari and eggplant Parmesan more standard.
Atmosphere is quite dramatic with a beautiful view of the Brooklyn Bridge and the East River. Only issue is the clamorous noise between the helicopters, motor boats and trains going by on the Manhattan bridge. Indoors avoids this of course - But have no fear, they jack up the music to make up for the absence of train Clamor
Wonderful outdoor dining experience overlooking the water. Whipped ricotta with honey as an appetizer was a real surprise! Cacio e pepe and bronzino were perfectly cooked. The French Sauvignon blanc was superb.
great dinner, atmosphere, view and service. Worth going for early or late dinner.
Drinks were good food was ok, nothing extraordinary
The food is not fresh, the taste is very salty. Poor hygiene
Everything was very good until, I was eating my spinach and there was hair in my spinach! Disgusting
Poor waiter service
Love Cecconi’s, however I was disappointed at having to make a 20 minute line even though I had reservations. After arriving at my reservation time of 2:30 I was told I had to make a line to get in. We were attended to at 2:50 and told there was a wait for a table ?!?! Once we were seated everything was great, food and service made up for the annoyance.
Awesome place. Really great. Highly recommend. Great experience
Nice ambiance, waiting is a hassle, average food not bad but not perfect. Trendy place, a bit overpriced but its worth if you go for a special occasion. Waiters are good and nice.
Loved the food and drinks.
Beautiful people, polite, attentive, and Beautiful restaurant. They honored our request for outdoors seating.
Food was terrific and even helped us with food allergies. Excellent 💜
Arrived 15 min early, waited 35 minutes past our RSVP to be seated. Staff kept telling us how long the wait for outside tables was when we had made RSVP for inside. After three reminders that we wanted to sit inside, we were seated at a table right by the patio door and had the curtains blowing into our backs. No issues with the food and the Waiter did his best. Dessert came without the requested birthday candle and was just dropped on the table by a staff member who couldn’t be bothered to even leave spoons behind. Ice cream become soup by the time we got utensils.
the food is very good and the ambience is also nice as we were seated outside and it was a beautiful evening.
we were not happy with the service as our server was not at all friendly and not willing to accommodate most of our requests.
Unbelievable great restaurant can’t wait to go again
I asked to be seated outside on the reservation. I was not booked outside and had to ask to be seated outside. Service was so slow we could not get drinks or food ordered let alone served. I’ve had better meals at Cecconis. Very disappointed as it was my 25th birthday dinner.
If you’re looking for poor service and mediocre food this is the place for you. My wife and I live in New York and go to some of the best restaurants that the city has to offer. We heard nothing but good things about this place and figured it was accurate being that you can never get a reservation. After receiving a pile of soggy and bland fried zucchini we figured maybe it was just a poor choice of an app. It was then followed up by a bland pizza. We wanted to order a pasta to give a third dish a try but was told by the waiter “give me a few minutes” when the place wasn’t even busy at the time. After waiting another ten minutes for the waiter to come back to us, I decided to leave him dumb founded and asked for the check before giving another plate a chance. On my way out the door I decided to notify a manager so that maybe the next person wouldn’t have the same experience as we did. Silly of me to think that they’d care- they said “I’m sorry” and didn’t proceed to ask me what went wrong or how they could change my experience. We walked out the door annoyed and had a terrific experience next door at the Time Out Market for half the price. DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE!
We went on vacation and we are looking forward to visiting this beautiful place and it met all expectations.
I would come back here just for the views alone honestly. The outdoor patio sits right on the water, with beautiful views of the Manhattan bridge. The sprezzatura drink was delicious, my friend had the moscato and says it was fruity the burrata was creamy and the tomatoes had a wonderful vinaigrette, the calamari was probably the best I’ve ever had, very flavorful. We both had pasta as entrées, very good portions and very delicious. Will be coming back for a date night or to celebrate, overall great experience
From the time I entered the door until I left I was made to feel welcomed.
We had dinner at Cecconi’s with another couple and we couldn’t have had a better time! The staff was attentive, the food was magnificent and the ambiance - superb!
Great for drinks
The Bronzino was fantastic. I do not think I left a morsel on my plate. My entire party enjoyed their food We were allowed to linger over dinner and the atmosphere could not have been better. You must try a cocktail! Unfortunately the waiter forgot my gelato but that was ok. A very nice meal in a prime location. The prices are high even for NY.
Good and ambiance were amazing. Service was terrible considering how expensive this was.
Sadly the food here for the price point continues to underwhelm but the ambiance and views are still hard to say no to. The bartenders do a great job, shout out to a very well mixed dirty vodka martini with not too much vermouth. I find that the service is a bit awkward here, even several years after opening. I had thought this the first time around and still sadly seems to be the same. All of the staff are very well intended, but nervous and unsure of how to speak to customers and to ensure a white table cloth experience.
Did not look at reservation notes for birthday
Gas was off but pizza was good
They we’re having a rough night. First this is a pricier restaurant. On this night we had a 15 minute wait beyond our reservation time. Second, despite asking in the reservation for an outdoor table made days earlier and asking again at the host stand, we were seated as far back in the restaurant as possible. Third condensation for the AC dripped onto my place setting. When we asked, we were told this always happens when the doors are open and it is humid. I might suggest addressing the problem or not using this location. We were accommodated at another table. Finally the gas went out so no hot food other than the pizza oven. No accommodation on the bill or in another way by the management team. The waiter was quite apologetic. Just not their finest hour. Salad and truffle pizza were great.
My friends and I went there for Brunch this past Sunday and LOVED it! The food, wait staff and ambience are wonderful. I highly recommend the Baller Spritz and the avocado toast with a side of chicken sausage.
Cecconi’s is always a win in my book. Amazing food and cocktails. Great ambiance, decor and service.
Amazing food, view and service!! Definitely recommend 10/10
