They don't usually give you the itemized receipt that tells you they've already included the service fee. I find that very sketch and incredibly rude. You just want me to tip double on your poor service? No thanks.
Outstanding meal with a fabulous view of the Manhattan skyline.
It was amazing. The staff was awesome, the food was delicious and the view is breathtaking. Definitely recommend.
The restaurant is perfect and the food are amazing. The best part was the service and the view. Definitely will come here again.
will come back again, beautiful place, cozy atmosphere , amazing menu!
The piźza was cold
A part from that...perfect with great view
What a wonderful experience with exceptional service! This was the upscale experience we were looking for and this was far more than we expected!!!
One of my favorite bars in NYC. Always happy to come back.
Service was very poor, there weren’t a lot of people; yet we waited a long time to order our food and the entree came before the appetizer.
A memorable and wonderful place . One word AMAZING. Thank you. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✅
Beautiful view .Restaurant staff very accommodating and helpful .
Nous avons passé un très bon moment avec mon mari. Nous étions sur la terrasse, la vue est magnifique. Le Menu Spécial de 12h-15h a un très bon rapport qualité prix!
One of my favs
Came to Cecconi’s Dumbo to celebrate my husbands birthday !
The Ambience, service and food were all good for this neighborhood restaurant . The meatball appetizer and whipped ricotta with honey were delicious. For the main course we had the Branzini which was also good.
My only regret picking this restaurant for this occasion was that it was noisy and loud, I was hoping that it would have been more romantic.
Huge bar scene and dining room was packed with families and lots of small kids.
I would recommend them to a friend due to their food and the overall vibe however some of the service should defiantly be worked on.
Restaurant ambience was superb, we had a table with a view of Williamsburg bridge. Service was exceptional from our waitress, cocktails were delish, food was outstanding - calamari, polenta and whipped ricotta starters - all faultless. Truffle pasta and pizza divine also. and...we had to give the tiramisu a nudge! so glad we did! Thank you Cecconis for a wonderful Dumbo experience!
Food and location were excellent. The service on this visit was not great and my bill was incorrect - I was charged for two drink we never got.
One of the best things Cecconi's DUMBO has going for it is location: its arched windows look out on the promenade and the river beyond. It's a wonderful space to take visitors to New York to. They get beautiful views from the restaurant's spacious rooms. Tables are spread out enough that you don't hear your neighbors and music is played low. It was a relief to hear my lunch companion without having to strain my ears. The servers were attentive and polite. And helpful. I asked what the house specialties were and the waiter said pizza and pasta. We tried the fennel sausage pizza, which had a thin crust, and just the right amount of cheese. The eggplant parmigiana was delicious. I also had a very good Bloody Mary, which was prepared extra spicy, at my request.
My friend was visiting from out of town and lunch at Cecconi's on a sunny day was a wonderful way to introduce her to Brooklyn at its best.
The table was ready and with the best view! Service was great as well as the food!!!
The best View. Food is ok
Last night if our vacation in Brooklyn and we decided to do donning a little nicer. The food, drink and service were all great. The waterfront view was wonderful. Really happy with our choice!
It was great! Main course wasn’t good. Very nice restaurant though!
Great service very accommodating to our dietary restrictions
The best Italian food I ever had! The view outside was outstanding and they gave us a complimentary blanket when we got cold. The service was beyond great and such a romantic place for a date !
Outstanding, seat outside for an amazing view! Love it!
Reception service was not friendly; didn’t seem to care one way or the other. That’s unfortunate because it was the opening of the experience and had an impact on the entire thing
As usual this restaurant did not disappoint. We visited as a family with two kids and we received a warm welcome and fantastic service throughout. The food was amazing. Always so consistent. One of my favourites to visit.
What a great location and the food is delicious. If it is nice enough to sit outside you should request to, though if its chilly the heaters don't work very well. They have blankets you can wrap yourself in if you are able to tough it out. The inside is noisy. Cocktails are great. The food is a little overpriced, but it is on the water in DUMBO so nothing unexpected for the location. Even if you have a reservation you may have to wait for a bit to get your table.
Bad service, especially the hostess who was rude and should find another line of work. Food was passable at best: soupy pasta and bland chicken. Will never go back. Will actively discourage anyone I know from patronizing.
This time truflle pizza wasn't good. It seemed to have been made the day before...
My friend was in town visiting and desperately wanted to get him out of Times Square and show him the NYC that I fell in love with. Cecconi's changed his entire perspective on the city. We loved the whipped ricotta (SO GOOD). He got the lamb ragu dish, I ordered the butternut squash ravioli, and there wasn't a single drop left. Everything was so enjoyable, from the service, to the food, and the amazing ambiance. I highly recommend sitting outside for the breathtaking NYC skyline views. This is my new go-to spot whenever I have people in town. I can't wait to continue showing off my favorite city at my (newly) favorite restaurant!
A little loud
Waiters quite arrogant and unpleasant
Always excellent! Appreciate the consistent good food, ambiance and service. Front desk hosts are always friendly and helpful (much better than trying to re-arrange anything by phone... Sometimes frustrating and unreliable). Our table was not ready on arrival, which we stated was fine. We went to the bar and had a round of drinks. No problem. We were then taken to our table and received an apology for not being exactly what we wanted- but again, we were fine. It was a good table, fine view and our server was very good and attentive. We all had a lovely evening... Thank you.
Hostesses and reservations are always not supportive and rude.
First night into our NYC visit, a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge to DUMBO and dinner here was the perfect start. First class experience.
Amazing ambiance paired with excellent food and service. It’s a place that I want to come back more often.
Really good food with fantastic views. Staff really friendly and helpful.
