Whipped Ricotta Truffle Honey Crostini
We love this restaurant. Have eaten here several times over the years. Our recent experience wasn’t great. Wait staff missed the mark completely. At this price point, I definitely expect better.
Food and service was amazing plus beautiful atmosphere
Great ambiance and great service. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience- food very good! Highly recommend
I came in for my birthday and the Food was good, service was amazing. They are short staff but it’s understandable during this crazy times! Will definitely be back!
We had a reservation and waited over an hour for our table. When we were seated it was by the bathroom at a table that had been open since we arrived. When we complained to the manager and maitre d they just shrugged their shoulders and said if we wanted another table inside it would be an hour. That was crazy as we had a reservation and yet they didn’t have tables for us. We were just getting very hungry and tired and ended up eating outside with the heaters but it was still very cold. What a disappointment for a night out to celebrate our friends birthday. I will never be back. It also felt soooo touristy and not like a cool hip vibe I hoped it would be. Way over rated!
Terrible management of reservations
The host staff was extremely friendly and attentive. This restaurant is beautiful and comfortable…even the bar. My waiter was amazing. I can’t wait to return with more friends.
Absolutely delicious and the view was amazing. Our server Jose was on point with service. The food was served promptly and the taste was perfect. I recommend Cecconi’s Dumbo be sure to have a reservation!
Food was good however the ossobuco was on the salty side and the gelato was disappointing. The decor and views are excellent.
Very poor service. Don’t bother relying on your reservation, they intentionally overbook and have patrons wait 60min+ for a table for two.
Also, very poorly managed. During my visit, coat check was a mess and incorrect belongings were being given to the wrong owners.
My partner and I eventually left from the long wait, poor service and disorganized workflow. That was all we needed to see before even dining at this establishment.
Good food but very limited menu
The atmosphere was perfect the view was great all in all the service was excellent I will definitely go there again I will recommend
Very nice place. Enjoy nice view. Good food and place
Experience was ok. Use to be better.
The host was beyond accommodating with us when it came to where we wanted to sit. We decided to sit outside. The food is outstanding and so is the view. Our apps came before our drinks and our waiter brought our bread after we were finished with our dinner which I thought was odd. At that point he shouldn’t even have brought it out. I noted that the occasion was a birthday and they didn’t bring a candle with dessert so I was a little upset about that. We sat next to an extremely loud table. This isn’t the restaurant for that kind of rowdiness so I definitely feel like the server should have told them that as courtesy to the rest of the dining people. But over all I would come back
Bar man at the inside bar, small one, extremely rude and with no patience to answer questions
Beautiful space with wonderful food and service. View of the city and the bridges is amazing.
Amazing service! Great food!
Delicious food. Ambience was wonderful. Service excellent
Bad attitude from the waiter. It was a shame. It’s my friends 18th birthday and that’s what they gave us!
I have been to Cecconis for so many times this past year, but this time walked out with such disappointments. They charged 18 dollars for normal water without early noticing. The food tasted so much worst than before for some reason. Services were fine as usual. That was my last visit.
We had a reservation and showed up a few minutes early. We were initially told that they were gettin our table ready and we were asked to wait for a few minutes. After 15 minutes, we asked for an update on the status of our table and we were told that it was going to be another 20 minutes because there was an issue with the reservation system but they told us that we could wait at the bar and that they were going to come find us as soon as our table was ready. 30 minutes go by and no one came over so we went back and asked again and were told that the table was almost ready. This happened again 10 minutes later and 10 minutes after that. Eventually, almost 1.5 hours after we arrived, we were finally seated. At that point our waiter took our order for the appetizers and then disappeared for another 30 minutes to the point were we had to ask another waiter to find him for us because we wanted to order. At no point did anyone offered to cover for our drinks or dessert or anything despite the fact that we finally had our food 2 hours after our initial reservation. The food was good and the location is very pretty, but I wouldn’t go back. I had dined at Cecconi before, and never had these issues, so it was very disappointing.
İt was my birthday but they did not gave us outside table even so many people were sittinf outside. The waiter was kind but he was very slow maybe they should work more people. And the portions were small
Lovely place and good food and service. Would come again
Very welcoming and professional service. The food was delicious.
Great brunch spot. Outside seating was really nice.
Amazing food, pizza, pasta, fish, meat, wine cocktails. With a view to kill for.
Incredible view and excellent service
Excelente comida, lugar espectacular . Servicio lento y deficiente .
It was very pricey fir the quality of the food
The ambiance and food were amazing… the host was very standoffish and somewhat dismissive.
Cecconi’s Dumbo was an amazing experience. Having a passion for great cuisine and excellent service is something that truly comes through in their final product. Coming from a long line of excellent cooks/family and friends in the restaurant business, I would highly recommend Cecconi’s. Rather I demand you get yourself there for a great meal and time.
Just fabulous as always!!!
Everything was very good but butter lettuce salad : no dressing, tired leaves , tomatoes not riped. Very disappointing
Amazing staff, very helpful recommended the best dishes and wine. The view was beautiful as well. Perfect for a date night
The service was great. Not too much option to choose from menu
Great Italian Restaurant. With a Nice Outdoor Patio. Wonder view of the East River and Manhattan.
