very professional and relaxed atmosphere, food was well prepared.
We got the Salmon cooked Medium and it was great!
Delicious food and wine, and great setting on brooklyn bridge park
Absolutely fantastic all around!
The staff was friendly, all wine and food recommendations were excellent. The lamb pasta is to die for.
Service was excellent. Pleasant greetings from the hostess and friendly waitress who was more than happy to take pictures for us! Atmosphere and food was great. Highly recommended!
The view was really good.
Food was OK.
I want to go again when outdoor seats open.
Went for restaurant week on Sunday during lunchtime. My friend and I ended up getting one of the few views right next to the window with a beautiful view. I had the salad and rigatoni beef bolognese, both were good--the bolognese was better than I expected. Definitely a beautiful restaurant! Only downsides are that we had to wait about 30 mins for our table and I wish that the wait staff had been a bit more attentive, but nothing to knock off stars over.
We were seated 45 minutes later than our appointment. The hostess had to admit that this is a recurring issue. Right after we were served the main dish, we were asked to order coffee because the bar was closing. The waiter was nice enough to inform the manager about our protest and the manager was nice enough to offer as desert as an apology. Still,it wasa rushed experience.
Great dinner! the setting . the wait staff, the food, eveything was perfect. We will surely return.
The restaurant is in a beautiful building with so many exquisite details (original ceilings, flooring, fantastic art) and of course a breathtaking view over the river. The staff seemed disorganized and service was so slow (I assume it is hard to get staff). Food was often cold when it arrived (my eggs were clearly sitting under a heat lamp for a long time, cam out sort of crusty). The prices are really high for this kind of service.
Love this place! Great view! Delicious food. Other than waiting 30+ minutes past my reservation time I always enjoy dining at Cecconi. My favorite food is that lamb ragu, burr ata pizza , the best profiteroles dessert. Also wine selection always compliment my meal nicely.
I always love to eat at cecconi's. It's amazing pizza and fish. This last experience was not common from my prior times. The hostess didn't seat us for one 1 hour. I arrived at 750 for a 815 table. Finally I was seating in the 3rd dining room at 910 pm. I suggest better organization in terms of times and seating.
Even though it is Restaurant Week, I was surprised by the total cost.
The music selection is wonderful and so is the atmosphere. The service was terrible
Half way through my salad the waiter drifted by and asked if I wanted bread. I couldn't find him earlier to ask him and of course shouldn't have to. I had to go to the bar to get Second glass of wine. I was there for a very late lunch and it wa beyond not busy.
I have been here several times , the food and the service is amazing! The view is also great!
I’m shocked by how much I did not like this restaurant. For how expensive it was I really expected the food to be better. The appetizers were great, but my rigatoni was cooked unevenly and wasn’t anything special. The filet mignon was ok, but for $57 it should have been better. Also had the tiramisu and honestly it was pretty bad. The restaurant and ambiance was great but I have no plans to recommend this place of ever go back.
Daniel was great!
Very fancy place to eat. The ambiance was amazing and the food the same. The only thing that could be improved is the amount of people. Could have been less people if I was looking for a quiet date night.
My husband and I live nearby so we frequent Cecconis often - usually just walk-in and sit at the bar. However, we decided to make a reservation since it was Friday night. Our reservation was at 9:15 and we were not seated until after 9:50. I told the hostess that I was disappointed with how long after our reservation we were seated and she said how she was sorry and moved on. I have worked in restaurants and if I was seating someone over 30 mins past their reservation time, I would have tried to do something to make up for the inconvenience, or at least gone out of my way to show that I was actually sorry. It was an overall frustrating evening and changed my view on the restaurant.
It’s a very nice place and the food was delicious. The service was a bit slow but it was worth the wait. Highly recommend it
Nothing special. Ambiance is nice. Service was not spectacular. Portions were small, a bit of a "scene".
Great vibe. Tastefully decorated, and wonderful food.
Food (we ordered main entrees and not pizza) was ok, but the service and ambiance were excellent. Great location with a view of lower Manhattan. The time we went was around 2pm and the place wasn’t crowded so the noise level was low.
Great service and great food
Dinner was perfect!
Beautiful restaurant!! We weren't seated by the window unfortunately but the ambience inside was gorgeous! Also their pizza is amazing! Honestly the best pizza I've ever had. Definitely try the pizza if you ever come in. Our entrees were very good as well but they didn't really stand out. My only jive with the experience was that we were seated by a bit of a noisy table but that's out of the restaurant's control.
Always perfect food, service and atmosphere.
Súper lugar, comida deliciosa y vista increíble desde la terraza
Food and service was excellent
We booked a table for 2 at 7:30pm. We waited more then one hour to receive our table. In this time of Covid is really not necessary!!
Our reservation was at 7:30, we arrived 5 minutes early. We weren’t seated at our table until 8:40.
We went to Cecconi’s Dumbo for our 5 year wedding anniversary. We were seated at a very cute 2-top directly beside a large window with a beautiful view of the Manhattan bridge. The food was out standing (highly recommended the Grilled Octopus as an appetizer). The service was superb and payment portion was incredibly efficient. The ambiance was moderately loud and quite dark. The was a small lit candle at our table which provided the majority of our light. Overall it was a delightful experience and will definitely be back
Came for my engagement dinner. Food was delicious. Service was a little weak. Also felt the tables were a little high compared to the booth height. Overall would totally go back
I took my boyfriend for his birthday and he was very happy with my selection. As always lol. We had a window seat and the view was spectacular. The vibe is so good. The food was delicious. The service was great. We really enjoyed ourselves.
I have been there before and for such an expensive place It was a little frustrating to wait so long for food. My friend ordered a glass of wine and it took at least 30 mins to arrive. After we already had to wait for a table despite having a reservation.
We had a great time. Everything was perfect!
It was a wonderful restaurant to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Everything from the ambiance, to the food and service was amazing.
The outdoor area was open and they had all the heat lamps on and the tables were set but they wouldn’t let us sit there. One staff member said the heat lamps were just for show but every staff member seemed to have a different reason.
