   views and our server mike were amazing, food was 8/10 ordered bistecca fiorentina and filet mignon for my wife, ordered tiramisu for dessert and Mike was nice enough to add a candle since we were celebrating my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary made our night special

   We traveled from Toronto, Canada to visit Dumbo. This restaurant was a total letdown. The food was way overpriced, service was slow - main dish was not delivered to our table at the same time as my friend’s meal. Portions are not generous. Bar was nice, good service at bar.     Spectacular surprise on entry - fantastic atmosphere during a wonderful anniversary celebration meal. Uncharacteristic error when paying the bill as server added $66 onto our bill AFTER she presented it to us- apparently it was 3 cocktails from the beautiful young people on table adjacent ! Gerardo was v professional as manager dealing with this issue the next day. We will go back and we will recommend this to one and all.

    Cecconi's was a perfect choice for a graduation celebration. The location and ambiance was perfect. Everything was outstanding from start to finish. They even accommodated an extra person when I sent them a message a few days previously and held our table when we got there later than the reservation time. The steak was absolutely amazing and so were the rest of the dishes and drinks.

    Terrible seating. The chairs were so uncomfortable, super low to the ground, impossible to fit if you are taller than 5 1/2 feet. The food is mediocre at best, and very overpriced. Our waiter was nice but the host staff continue to have a bad attitude. They also routinely walk around the restaurant with their ipads monitoring everyones table. We felt completely rushed and had the pleasure of paying almost $400 for dinner for myself, husband and two daughters, and two of the entrees were Pizza! I have been to this locaiton a few times and it just doesn't get any better and now that the view is gone (due to construction on the water), there really isn't any reason to go here.

    Even with special request for a window seat, was seated in middle of restaurant and was told that was a window seat. Service was disorganized. Utensils falling every ten minutes, not receiving spoons when soup was served, waiters removing food and drinks without asking you if you're done with the food, getting food orders wrong. Restaurant is advertised as dress casual place and pricing is on mid to higher side. We definitely did not have a good experience. Food is hit or miss. We had a vegan pizza which was delicious. Cocktails were okay and also priced 21 dollars each. Rigatoni Bolognese was too al dente and only half the dish was sauced. Very disappointing. We had to ask for complimentary bread as we weren't served any but yet other tables were getting it. I became really angry at one point during dinner because the cocktail drink that we weren't done drinking disappeared from the table. Oh my goodness! So frustrating trying to look back at the whole experience plus the fact that my group and I were trying to celebrate the day after mother's Day.

    We had the pizza with Arugula and prosciutto, it was really good. we also had the calamari’s which we had better ones before at other restaurants. The drinks we had were excellent. The service and ambiance overall great, will visit again!!!

    We usually have a wonderful experience here, however, for whatever reason, they were out of nearly all the entree options on Sunday. Additionally, there was a homeless man throwing glass bottle pieces and approaching tables (he threatened someone in my party from across the divider) and the waiter stared at him but no one made any effort to call the police or to remove him. For the amount of money we spend when we come here, we expect a bit of a more proactive experience. And they should be far more up front about being out of menu items. We ended up being forced into buying the most expensive entree option because it was all that was left, and no effort was made to compensate.

    Reservation was set so we did not have to wait, the host remembered to mention Happy Birthday! We did not get outside seating as originally requested, however by luck a couple wanted to come inside so we got an outside table. Drinks were really on point, the calamari was great and fried octopus was greatly prepared. Ambiance was incredible, the water added a nice breeze, the view of both the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan bridge was an eyeful. Definitely will be coming back.

    Always have a great experience at Cecconi's. Whether it is the food or the drinks or the service. This time I went I had a wonderful greeting from the hostess who was very busy. She was able to manage multiple duties and she was very friendly. Ethan was my server. He was so warm and friendly to my friend and I. He also was so caring and attentive to what we needed.     The “wait until the full party is there to get you seated is annoying. We arrived a bit early, the table was there, but didn’t sit us for 20 minutes because two people where running 5 minutes late, instead of ordering drinks, snacks while we waited, beneficial to the restaurant, we ended up occupying room in their waiting area, crowding the small area for so many in line waiting to be seated, What’s the logic?     The staff were very friendly, and I enjoyed my experience except for the fact that outside was closed due to construction, so there was no opportunity to get a nice view of the Brooklyn Bridge during your dining experience, which is the main reason why I booked. I booked my reservation. Well, I need a Vance, and specifically asked for an outside table with a view because I was coming from out of town so I would’ve appreciated it if I would’ve received a call in advance, notifying me of their closure. I think that that was a sneaky move on the part of management to get me not to cancel my reservation but honesty is the best policy. Nonetheless, The food was delicious and my server was very helpful with helping me make choices and customizations.
