About this restaurant

  • Neighborhood gem
  • Good for special occasions
  • Good for business meals
Welcome to the first Cecconi's in Manhattan!

Situated on the first floor of the Ned Nomad, this modern-day classic Italian restaurant serves hand-made pasta, pizza, seafood, and dishes from Northern Italy.

Design details include a hand-chipped mosaic and terrazzo striped floor, a new take on the traditional Cecconi’s stripe, set against navy velvet banquettes, golden-yellow leather chairs, and a polished timber bar, inspired by classic mid-century Italian Trattorias.

Cecconi’s is open to the public, with advance reservations for members and hotel guests.

Experiences

  • A Tavola... | An Italian Regional Dinner Series

    $105.00 per person

    May 19, 2025 only
Join us for the first in our Italian regional dinner series, A Tavola, celebrating Lazio cuisine. Our Executive Chef Luca Capasso collaborates with guest chef Emiliano Di Leginio from Trattoria da Edoardo in Italy for a four-course menu featuring summer truffle agnolotti finished tableside, traditional Roman dishes, and regional specialties. A Tavola is a new dinner series from Cecconi’s NoMad, celebrating the rich culinary traditions of Italy, one region at a time. Each season, Executive Chef Luca Capasso welcomes a guest chef from a different corner of Italy for a one-night collaboration, bringing hyper-local flavors and heritage dishes to New York. Join us at the table for an intimate evening of regional storytelling through food. The dinner is priced at $105 per person; a discounted price is available for Ned's Club members and The Ned NoMad hotel guests. Please note that this will be the only menu available that evening.

Frequent visitor to this location and its consistently good. The food is tasty, comes out quick and the chairs are very comfortable. It’s mostly filled with business people during breakfast hours so if you’re looking for that or a breakfast date spot definitely check it out.

I’m not cheap but spending 200 bucks for 2 pizzas and 3 drinks I can go to a 100 other places where they don’t act like they are doing you a favor. All these places cried during Covid and are now back to treating people terribly and serving mediocre food. No thanks. I won’t be going back.

Business lunch on expense account for lunch for 4. $300 with no alcohol. Nice for people watching with the price tag to match. Meatball appetizer was overcooked. Octopus appetizer was good. Salmon entree was okay. Pasta dishes my guests had (veal ragu, cacio pepe, and something with red sauce with a ball of burrata on top) all looked good. Iced tea glass was filed with ice from top to bottom. Took 15 minutes to get my servers attention to get another iced tea after finishing the first quickly (and I had to flag him down). Was charged $8 per iced tea (as in they charge $8 for refills - not cool, especially considering it was all ice and no tea). When paying, the device the server held for you to insert your credit card charged tip AFTER applying sales tax. That left a really bad taste in my mouth. At this price point (or any price point for that matter) it’s completely unnecessary to get something over on your patrons.

Dear David, Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. While we’re glad to hear your guests enjoyed their meals and the atmosphere, we're truly sorry to hear that parts of your experience were disappointing. We apologize for the overcooked appetizer, the delay in service, and the unexpected charges — especially on something as simple as an iced tea. That’s not the impression we want to leave, and we understand how frustrating that must have been. Please know your comments have been shared with our team, and we’re taking them to heart as we work to improve both our service and transparency. We truly appreciate you giving us a try and hope we’ll have the chance to welcome you back for a much better experience next time. Warm regards, Aspen Maye

Horrific service during a birthday dinner for my wife. Matre’d spilled half her drink when adjusting table and made no amends. Waitress was very nice but completely inattentive. Had to ask for bread twice, water refills multiple times and dessert menus. Not the quality we were expecting. This ship needs to be tightened up significantly.
