   Baked potato very ordinary. Had the filet which was very tasty. However, overpriced for this establishment when I can get better atmosphere with my meal for less cost

   Service was wonderful. from from a food perspective it went downhill from there. Appetizer of Diablo Shrimp, Temperature when it arrived at the table was lukewarm, spiciness was non existent. If something is labled Diablo, you would expect it to be somewhat spicy, but it was not. of the 2 main dishes we got, one was good and the other was what seemed old and overcooked... like it was made up earlier and sat out for a long time. Dried out and no sauce.... I had the Encrusted Pork, and the pork itself was very good, temperature good, it was done properly, but the vegetables included with it were bland and lacked any kind of real flavor. Overall the meal was a MEH, and you expect more from an 80+ dollar dinner (for 2) with only 1 glass of wine...

   Always a lovely time. It’s family or date friendly. The staff is always accommodating and seem to work well together. Prices are hood fur the value of food. Very unpretentious environment but not a hole-in-wall by any means. Great beverage and bourbon/whiskey selection. Staff seems pretty knowledgeable. I’m just chuckling because the chairs (very weird I know to mention) are that odd pleather bar-looking style. Silly to engender mention. But we all noticed how we “stuck” them. It was more funny than bothered us. Enjoy a great lunch or dinner! Highly recommended to those with every level of tastes. I wish more people knew about this hidden gem in Valley Park. It’s a bit tricky to find it, but worth it!

   Disappointed that the menu on their website was outdated. What we ordered was good and service was good. Steaks and chops were pricey so we went with sandwiches. Atmosphere was nice except we were seated next to a large party.

   This is the best restaurant experience we have had in a long time! From the moment we arrived, the service was fantastic! It was refreshing to dine in a restaurant that was adequately staffed. The food was delicious! We will definitely be back soon.

    We had a reservation, but did still have to wait a little while, no big deal. The food was pretty tasty. The service was slow. It was 30+ minutes before our order was taken. We did ask for the other menu, but that only took a couple of minutes. Drink refills were slow too. But all staff was super friendly and helpful when asked. Did not feel rushed thru our dinner was the upside of slow service.

    The food was pretty good but something that kinda ruined my steak was the overwhelming “char” taste on the outside. I couldn’t taste the meat, it was just all charred on the outside. The steak was cooked to the right temp (medium), but it just did not taste good. Even the giant amount of butter on top did not mask the flavor

    It took forever to have someone come to our table after we were seated, there were only 9 people seated at the time we were there, so no excuse for slow service. The food was not hot when it came out, and one of the steaks was cooked wrong, had to send it back and re-fire it. I tired waving a worker over to our table, she was looking straight at me, and turned around and never was seen again. It was our 31st wedding anniversary and it was not a good experience there. We were seated for some reason next to a fully loaded table, and the talking volume was loud, but they did not care, they also complained about the slow service, and went to order drinks they wanted from the bar, and were told that’s not allowed, they had to wait for their server, I have never heard of that before. I also felt that since we were not in a suit & tie outfits, we were not treated as others there. There was a group of 5 gentlemen dressed in suit & ties, that we’re getting asked if they needed anything every 15-20 minutes, not one of the 4 table occupied we’re receiving that kind of service. Overall it was disappointing to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary there, we will never go back.

    I would always make a reservation and ask for the Fenton room. This is sort of a smaller, enclosed area where it isn’t as loud and easier to talk.

    Although this place is not easy to find, it is well worth the drive. If I owned a steak house restaurant, it would be run just like this place. My pork chop meal, the special of the day, was as good as any I have had the last 5 years. My guests said their steaks were better than the best in Sunset Hills. So, that is high praise from steak lovers.

    We went to CB’s to celebrate my birthday. There was a very friendly hostess, and the bar was crowded and festive. We sat in the dining area rather than in the bar and the atmosphere was modest. Our waitress was very friendly, but unfortunately they were out of filet mignon so my daughter and I both had to re-order. Fillet mignon was the special that night, so I guess a lot of people ordered it. It was only 7:30 PM when we ordered however, so I think more filet mignon should’ve been on hand in the kitchen. We ordered an appetizer of lobster ravioli, which was good, but nothing more special than your typical toasted ravioli. The Caesar salad was quite tasty. When our steaks finally arrived, the baked potatoes they served looked like they had been baking for several hours. The NY strip had good flavor, and my daughter’ boyfriend said the salmon over linguine was very good. Overall, I don’t think we would return given that the food was just OK despite the high prices of a fine steakhouse.

    Excellent restaurant for business meetings or date night. Food portions will exceed your expectations. Quality and taste of their steaks rivals other steakhouses. Large bourbon selection and quality single malt scotches like Laphroaig 10 yr. served in a Glencairn glass. The staff and owner provide exemplary service and genuinely appreciate your business.

    CB chop house has expensive prices for not great quality. I really wanted to like it but it felt more like a diner that wanted to be a steak house. The sour cream was frozen. Literally frozen! The steaks were not seasoned and the veggie medley was not cooked all the way. The baked potato was burnt on the outside and undercooked in the center. The service was not great either.

    The first time we ate at CB’s they were very busy and low staffed so it seemed pretty chaotic. The owner’s friend I believe was helping out and took our plates when we had steak still left on it but again they were super busy so we understood. We gave them another try and everything was great! Owners came by each time to say hello and thanking customers, I love that.

    The food was excellent. The steak and salmon were cooked perfectly and were delicious. The salads, loaded baked potatoes and green beans were excellent choices.     First time visiting CB’s Chophouse & was pleasantly surprised. My husband got the strip steak & I got salmon, both were cooked perfectly. We also got the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer & they were eh. Lacking flavor & the meat fell off the mushrooms…there was no binder like cheese or bread crumbs to hold them together.     My wife and I cook all of the time, plus I used to live in Fenton and frequently went to the corner butcher store, I love that store. The only thing I believe that needs some attention is the seasoning. Everything was cooked well and presented well. I hope you have great success with your new restaurant endeavor.

    We went on Valentine's evening and had an amazing dinner with fantastic service. The place was packed for Valentine's, as we knew it would be- but the servers and staff kept things running super smooth with minimal wait in between the amazing food courses. We are so happy to have this high level of food quality and service right here in Fenton!

    We had a reservation for 4 but they miss judged the amount of time people would stay so ended up waiting 20mins as there were 4 groups that all had reservations at the same time. Some people left which would have been a better option. Service was off, it took an extremely long time to get our food and we only had 3 sandwiches and a pizza. They forgot 2 side salads and had the wrong side with another sandwich. People never got refills on water or soda and I was never able to get another cocktail. The food was very good but the experience was bad enough that we won’t be back:
