Copper Blues Live at Desert Ridge (CB Live)
These reservations are for the restaurant/bar side only.
**If you are seeing a comedy show at our location seating for the shows is at a first come first serve basis**
My new favorite place for date night or hanging out with friends!
Overall,it was just ok. The food was mediocre and the drinks were over priced. It was live Karaoke which was entertaining and enjoyable.
The table that we sat at was off balance which was really annoying. The waitress did fix it after I complained about it. That should have been dealt with prior to us arriving.
Not in a hurry to go back.
We had a great time celebrating a friend’s birthday. The band was awesome and it was an overall enjoyable experience. I can’t wait to go again.
Best service ever waitress had a great attitude and friendly, funny & we never got low on our drinks she was so good that I tipped her $100.00
James Christopher Valimont
We had a great time and the "battle of the bands" was fun.
Was a great time and food was good
Had dinner in the restaurant and then moved next door to the comedy club - all three comedians were great, but especially Leanne Morgan from Tennessee - like us. We'd love to see here again at your place. Food was also outstanding and everyone - especially the waitress that served us in the restaurant. Great place - our first time there- but not the last for sure. Thanks
Great staff. Loved the singer. Perfect location for a night of.
Food ok music good
Your food portions are really small for what you're charging. Drinks are expensive and quite mediocre. No one at our table enjoyed their drinks.
Very unhappy the Saturday evening concert (Jay Allen) was cancelled due to the Nebraska football game being televised. His performance was posted on two separate websites and our party of 8 had to change our plans as a result. If Copper Blues management decides to change a scheduled performance, more notice is required (at least 48 hours).
Great place to catch a Husker game!!!
The only concern I had was all the high top seating. I was bringing a group that were in their 70's, so sitting at a high top was not a good choice for a happy hour place, but thank goodness, I went ahead of time to see that they had a separate room with low seating and it was perfect! The service was very good! We were surprised to see the happy hour food come in small plates, because the Nachos at another restaurant that we frequent has a huge plate of Nacho's for the same price. However, the buffalo chicken sandwiches and copper sliders were delicious! The acoustic music was a little too loud in order to have a conversation. However, all in all, we had a very nice time!
The dining area has a very cool stage and bar. The staff was okay. We were not greeted by the seaters, they just looked at us when we came in and I had to tell them we had a reservation. We were seated immediately but the server thought we were part of a larger party so there must have been some miscommunication between the seaters and the servers. The menu was limited but the food was very good and they had a large selection of draft beer.
Great Comedy Show’
Great food, excellent service!! The Mark band was awesome. Enjoy every minute of it.
Very loud, but fun. I feel a little sorry for the artists since only about 10% of the people were even paying attention. I’m sure other nights (we went Friday at HH time) with less of a party crowd would allow you to listen to the music with less background noise. We absolutely plan to return.
Great selection of beer...Hannah is awesome...
The food was excellent! Kimmy was very observant and kept our drinks flowing! Energetic boozy brunch! Had an awesome time!
My burger was undercooked but the waitress was really nice and got a new one for me no charge.
The drink prices are a little steep and the spot lights up above are always swirling around in our face so that's annoying. The music is always fantastic.
Loved the live music. The service was great. We thought the prices were a little higher, but we still enjoyed our visit.
Good food and drink, friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. Most nights the live music is at least good if not above average. Warm up during HH, main band starts at 9.
It was awesome we had a great time. The band was excellent and food and drinks and service were excellent. We will be back 😊
Went there with a party of eight people service was atrocious we went through not one server but to manager did Step but by then it was way too late. Re-training definitely needs to be done with help however with that being said we were there The following night with a party of 12 and had an amazing server everything could not have been more perfect
Great place for live music, and good food! However, there were not enough waitresses, once it got busy around 8pm, and it took forever to get drinks and our check. When the comedy club was done, and a lot of that crowd moved over to the restaurant side, it got even worse. I felt really bad for the staff that was trying to keep up!
Seated immediately upon arrival - best part of this review!!! Server took drink order within 5 minute timeframe and that's when it all fell apart. Drinks took 15 minutes to arrive, server took our food order too ~ wings. The server came back about the 1/2 hour mark and we ordered another round of drinks, only one drink showed up. Server never returned back to our table. Had to wait unit the manager stopped his table conversation with his buddy - that was over 10 minutes in length . I needed to get up to chase him down & he agreed that 45 minutes for our food was way too long but blamed it on "the kitchen being slammed", there was no explanation of the missing server. We should have listened to the rest of the bad reviews - this is just a reiteration of the same problems that management cannot or refuses to fix.
Good environment if you just want to unwind. Not good for conversations, unless you raise your voice. It's a fun place for people watching. I found the prices to be a bit on the high side.
We’ve been going to copper blues downtown Phoenix for years from scottsdale, so this is huge for us to only drive 10-15 minutes and not have to deal with traffic and parking. We also go to blue martini, wasted grain BLK Live and other music venues, and I have to hand it to the guys at CB live, bc the sound quality is the best around and it really makes the experience that much better. So, CBlive is now our first choice to listen to music. Food is solid as well.👍🎶🍺good beers options!
Loved it, had a blast. The food was a little on the expensive side for the portion you get, but it was delicious and worth it.
The staff was inviting and friendly. Great time.
I enjoyed the live band later in the evening, the place was hopping. The service was good but the food choices was not appealing and the drink prices seemed high. I would recommend and come again based solely on the vibe of the place. It is great to have a place like this so close.👍👍
We didn't get to try the food because we never got waited on. We walked in and nobody sat us or told us to seat ourselves. I finally asked someone and he gruffly said, "seat yourselves". We sat outside and never saw a waitstaff even look in our direction. I went to the bar and asked the bartender if there was table service and she told me she would send someone over. No one ever came. They were not busy whatsoever - maybe 6 or 7 other parties in the whole big place. This was a Sunday afternoon.
Music in the main area is too loud before live acts begin to have a reasonable conversation. Never get the sense that places feel loud music attracts customers for a happy hour. It is called background music for a reason, it is in the background and should not be something you have to yell over.
I cant recommend the food: salsa on nachos tasted old, sweet potato upgrade side dish tasted as if the oil they were fried in was old/rancid and water tastes like tap water. Burger was the only edible item and with one beer, my total bill came out to 26.60ish, AFTER a $10 credit was applied... Wednesday night karaoke with a live band is pretty neat. Staff was friendly enough, but stingy with credit for inedible "food." Go here for the ambiance and to drink, but avoid eating anything sober .
My husband and I went there on saint Patty's day. We arrived around 6:30 because online it made me reserve a table. When we got there we were the only people there. When I went online to reserve a table that was the only time I could get I couldn't get any earlier which is what we wanted. Our waitress however seemed a little bothered to have to take care of table I think she'd rather be somewhere else. When we got our food it wasn't hot at all.it was like it was sitting back there for a while. We were so the only people in the place. Other than the few people at the bar drinking. The waitress gave us our bill pretty early and basically shut this out the door and like I said you weren't busy at all. So we felt a little uncomfortable there. I would have like to have better service because I really enjoyed the ambiance.it's sad because I read a lot of things about this place and I really want to try it and had such a sad experience.
Our favorite place to eat before hitting High Street
We showed up at our 11 AM reservation, by 1135 we had seen our waitress one time and have not even received coffee at this point. She looked to have at all of five tables, maybe 35 tables filled total in the restaurant with plenty of staff. I got the feeling that they just work very well too and or maybe a bunch of friends were working together talking in the back. I’ll never go back
Great venue for music. Only thing missing is a dance floor. Wait service was a bit lacking as well.
My husband and I went on a Friday night date night and we had an absolute blast, great food, fun environment and AWESOME drinks!
