In addition, we offer vegan substitutions for many of our dishes upon request. Our Kebaps cannot be made with vegan substitutions & your server can assist with items that are available with vegan options.
Tolerable but nothing above par. More focus needed on service and customer experience.
Great! Delicious food and nice waitress.
Great place for intimate dinners and group dining. Delicious entrees, great ambiance, attentive service.
Good Turkish food. Friendly, professional wait staff.
Wonderful service and recommendations. Chicken was very tender and flavorful. Service was friendly and efficient.
Once again, excellent food at decent prices, meh service. I’ve been eating here for a decade and still love it.
The food was great! The service, however, was terrible. We waited about 10 minutes before our drink and food order was taken. Even though everything came out quickly, our waiter never came by to ask how the food was, never came back to refill our water or to ask if we wanted more drinks, and brought our check instead of asking if we wanted coffee and/or dessert. We were planning on getting dessert but ended up not getting if after our check was brought.
Great service and great food makes for a perfect evening!
I hate when I have to write something negative about a place, so I will start with the strong parts--beautiful place, although it's quite crowded when you come in--narrow, no real "reception" place, but nonetheless, nice. Food was excellent, servers were kind and polite and helpful.
The bad was that food comes out whenever they have it ready--we were still on our apps and that's when the entrees suddenly appeared. So now the table was really crowded with plates and food, and it was uncomfortable to eat.
I had read that their soda was there own blend, but when queried if they have coke and sprite, they said, yes--and they didn't, so a little disappointed about that.
I had told them it was my niece's bday, and they did nothing for dessert with a candle or something to mark the occasion.
So we did love the excellent food, and the guys were nothing but polite and friendly--it was just the little things that annoyed me.
Oh, and don't park at 16 W. Saratoga St if you're going at night. The garage shuts down at apparently 7pm or 730pm. Thank goodness I had 1) another passenger and 2) internet access to look up the instructions for getting out of the garage after the grate doors are down, else I would have lost my dukey if I was trapped downtown.
Excellent Turkish food and wait staff. I would definately make this a dinner stop when in Baltimore
We ordered the Sultan platter for two people. It was a feast. It has a sampling of everything on the menu and it is always delicious.
Love, love love it! We just keep going back for more.
We went for the belly dancing. She was INCREDIBLE! And the food, as always, was delicious.
Food is good and worth the value. Very authentic Turkish experience. Service was a bit slow and they weren’t that busy, but other than that, it was a good experience. Some of the dishes were alright, but some were really good so you just have to know what to order. Would go again for the kebabs
We ordered the chicken pirzola on the lunch menu -- it was delicious!
Always tummie food and great service!
The food was very flavorful, came out hot, and there was not a long wait. The entertainment was also great as the dancer put on several performances and got the crowd moving and grooving. A great date night or girls' night.
Ambiance and food were fine. However noise level was a bit loud. Our party likes to converse, but we all had difficulty hearing each other. The belly dancing was entertaining, but it could have been a bit longer on entertainment.
FAVORITE RESTAURANT BY FAR. All the employees are exceptional and bring out dinner well timed so there will be no waiting around hungry for an hour. Belly dancing on fridays, very beautiful. CazBar also has beautiful accent Turkish art and pottery.
One of our favorite Mediterranean restaurants. Love the shrimp and feta.
An excellent and quite authentic Turkish restaurant. The dishes are all exquisitely prepared and really delicious. The Lamb Three Ways is a tour de force of both Turkish cooking and how amazing lamb can be. The waitress went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and were happy with our dishes.
We love this place. Excellent, interesting food; friendly service; delightful atmosphere.
We went during the belly dance hours and the show was amazing on top of the delicious food!
A friend recommended the restaurant, I arrived at 8 and asked for a table for two, the young woman looked me up and down ask if I had a reservation. Which is normal , I responded no, and asked if I needed one, she said yes, I looked in and the place kind of empty. I stepped out and made an immediate reservation on open table for 815, there were plenty others. Beyond that mild blowing experience and slow service, the rest of the evening went well.
As usual our experience was stellar. Buse served us; she made sure that everything was perfect and everyone was happy.
The atmosphere here is friendly and welcoming. They have a fairly extensive menu for those with certain dietary restrictions, such as vegetarians or vegans. The imam bayildi was delicious, as were all of their cold (vegetarian) mezes. The manti was not only tasty, but also quite authentic, according to a Turkish friend at the table. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu!
Beautiful Restaurant. Food was delicious. Highly recommend.
Very very good food and entertainment!
It's always hard to please a big crowd, but Cazbar got good marks from everyone---all 7 people---- at our table. Food was delicious and plentiful. Thank you for making my recommendation a success.
Overall we really enjoyed our meal! The servers were very nice, but seemed a bit disorganized. We were there for an early dinner on a Thursday, and when we arrived were the only customers there. It took a while for anyone to come to take our orders, and at one point they brought us another table's dessert that we had not ordered (they then took it from where it had been sitting on our table to the correct table, which we thought was odd, since they didn't know if we had touched it or not). However, the food was delicious! We had a number of appetizers which were all extremely good and a chicken entree that was very tender and flavorful. So despite the somewhat uneven service, we would definitely go back!
The food is amazing! You must try the mohamra and the lamb. Excellent choice for parties with vegans as well!
This restaurant is more of a share plate kinda meal. All mezze plates are really small. Kinda expensive for the amount of food. All in all pretty good Turkish food.
Cazbar was and excellent adventure for me and my girlfriend. We were treated to new dishes that had an excellent balance of tastes. Everything was delicious and the service was supreme.
This is a great place for food and environment. Excellent vegetarian options.
The best Turkish food in the DMV!
Visited Cazbar to grab a little dinner before seeing a show at the Hippodrome on Saturday. Could not have been more pleased. From the moment we walked in, everyone was welcoming, the service was very good, and the food was quite delicious. Our server did a wonderful job explaining the nuisances of the menu. The staff might have been a little overzealous with filling our water glasses, but, that’s better than waiting for someone, to notice the need, as is often the case in some restaurants. I would definitely encourage you to give it a go. We’ll definitely return; there were so many things we didn’t get to try, all of which I am sure are delicious!
I love this restaurant! The food is delicious; I love everything but especially the bread, rice and gingerella tea. The people are kind and the service is usually dependable. The food is not cheap but comparable to area and the quality is great!
The food, service and entertainment at the Cazbar are excellent! My fiance and I were celebrating the anniversary of our engagement and we could not have picked a better place. Located in the downtown area near the Lord Baltimore Hotel I highly recommend the Cazbar.
The food was extremely fresh. You could tell it was homemade.
We would highly recommend this restaurant for Turkish/Mediterranean food.
Our favorite restaurant over and over and over... We just keep going back for the food, the service, the ambience and the people who work there.
