C.A.Y.A. SMOKEHOUSE GRILL’s philosophy is to use as much farm to table as possible in Michigan. All of its produce is locally grown and its meats, duck, chicken, beef, pork, and ice cream are all from farms within 100 miles, most of it closer. They work closely with local farmers to ensure quality fresh ingredients in all its dishes. The bistro’s all natural products are not treated, chemically washed, or rinsed.

Great service but food was slow to arrive and the meat didn’t seem fresh. Won’t be returning.

Excellent smokehouse restaurant! Sides are large and shareable, we split a side of brussels sprouts as an appetizer and they were delicious - a bit crunchy with great flavor. Beef brisket was the best I've had and we have been to plenty of BBQ restaurants throughout MI. Pulled pork was excellent. Both meats had the right amount of smokey flavor (IMO) without being overwhelming. Sides of mac n' cheese (add bacon), cornbread, and sweet potatoes were generous and delicious and can be shared. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Good selection of beer and wine.

C.A.Y.A. was a great dining experience. Their Brisket was some of the best I have ever had. And I have had it all over the country. The service was top notch. Next time we are in the neighborhood we will stop in again. Thank you.

Really enjoyed the food and the service at CAYA. The wait time for the food was very reasonable considering the number of people at the restaurant.

If you want to eat at the bar, you might get served but if you are in the main room, pack your patience. No one offered even water until we asked after 15 minutes and there were only 8 other patrons

Our first visit. Large open space, good sauces and meats! Some sides are ho-hum (Tots, Onion Rings) but others like the baked beans were very good. Heard the menu will be revamped in January so looking forward to what that might bring...
