   C.A.Y.A.'s menu changed since our last visit but the same excellent BBQ and smoked dishes remain. One of the new items on the menu was the Texas Charcuterie Board. It was a great way to introduce our friends who had never eaten there before to the variety of yummy smoked dishes that C.A.YA. is famous for including their brisket, ribs and pulled pork along with a variety of accompanying sides. The burnt ends served with a horseradish sauce were our favorite and they are highly recommended.

   The food and service were terrific. The St. Louis Ribs were perfectly smoked and very flavorful. The mac and cheese side was pretty awesome along with the truffle fries. It wasn’t very busy which led to a relatively subdued atmosphere. After all it was a cold, snowy winter night. Perhaps it’s more electric in warmer weather. All things said we enjoyed ourselves and will likely come back to try other things.

   What an absolute treasure of a find this place is! I was in town for a convention and BBQ sounded good. This place was AMAZING. You NEED to order the burnt ends immediately. It’s a classic BBQ JOINT but the food is a couple notches more upscale. Everything was absolutely fantastic, including the craft cocktails. Our waiter, who I believe was the co-owner, well…I want him to adopt me.

    Loved the pulled pork sandwhich. Not so much the fries. Rest of fam had the Alabama Yardbird sandwhich. They liked it, but found the chicken to be a bit chewy. Tator tots were better than the fries. Loved the Fried oreos.

    Their brunch was ok. I’m intentionally not eating then lower for that but they need to up their game on that Their dinner is great and why I’m giving 5 starts: the pork belly tomahawk with cheese grits is freakin delicious and I’d recommend to anyone. Their ribs were delicious too. Candied bacon too was really good.

    Our first time there and definitely NOT our last. Wait staff was excellent and the food was very good! Burnt ends, candied bacon and brisket were awesome! Brought some brisket home to make quesadillas the next day!

    Chris was the perfect server--helpful, knowledgeable, not intrusive. Ribs a bit overcooked but tasty and the yardbird and brussel sprouts were amazing. Appreciated the well spaced tables on the patio. Definitely will return.

    We found Caya restaurant from a Google and Yelp search. The description of the meat dishes made the decision a certainty. We had a hard time choosing because there were so many delicious sounding choices. We ordered the Burnt Ends brisket appetizer, as well as the spinach and smoked artichoke dip. Both were outstanding; we loved the nice amount or fat on the brisket so the meat wasn't dry. The horseradish sauce was excellent. We then shared the 10 oz burger with carmel bacon. Probably the best burger we've eaten in years. The tomato aoli and arugula really put it over the top. What a find!!!

    Great food and service. They were very accommodating. Some of the recipes and food offerings have changed since pre-pandemic (Mac n cheese and cornbread have changed and they no longer have collard greens) but still very good menu items.

    The hostess forgot to tell the waiter we were there so it took a very long time to get our order in. They brought our husbands drinks but forgot ours until well into our meal when we had to ask for them. Once we got our cocktails we didn’t like them but didn’t want to say anything because we knew we probably wouldn’t get a drink. There was definitely not $12 worth of alcohol in those drinks that’s for sure. We can understand if it were a staffing issue but that didn’t seem to be the case. It’s unfortunate because we were looking forward to going to CAYA since we’ve never been before. From my observations, your team needs better communication, camaraderie and less blame/excuses especially on a peak day and time.

    Our server Kim was so friendly and efficient. The kirean rib apoetizer was outstanding. My husband enjoyed his smoked turkey legs, too bad he forgoot his leftovers in the car overnight! I had the brisket sandwich and it was everthing you can imagine as a wonderful meal. The chef has perfected his carolina sauce and can I say it was delicious!

    Cool ambiance. Great service! Our waiter was super friendly, funny, and attentive. Food was just ok. We went for Easter brunch and I didn’t find the breakfast type food to be that great overall but the pulled park was excellent. This was my first time there. I’d definitely go back for lunch or dinner to try their regular menu. I think they would be great for bbq since that’s their specialty. Wouldn’t go back for brunch though.

    This was the first time C.A.Y.A. did a brunch buffet. There was a little glitch here or there but the service and food were both impeccable! I was a little disappointed that coffee was not included in the price ($5 per cup) and they charged extra for the carving station ($9 included prime rib, ham, brisket) and for the omelet station ($8). They limited the prime rib to one time only but you could get as much ham and brisket as you wanted. Though the price tag was high, I would definitely go back.

    Kim was our server and was happy and very attentive. My son got a pulled pork sandwich and he almost licked the plate. Wifey and I got the 1lb Texas pulled pork platter and it was more than we could handle. Everything tasted great and came out quick. We will be back!
