The bus stop is just a short walk from the house, garden and farmyard entrances.<br />The closest train station to Chatsworth is Chesterfield. A light savoury starter is followed by a selection of carefully thought out finger sandwiches. A refreshing interlude follows in the form of a sorbet, before our delectable cakes complete the experience served on a beautiful Wedgwood tea stand. Enjoy as many teas as you can manage from our bespoke range supplied by Northern Tea Merchants of Chesterfield, a cafetiere or barista made coffee. A truly memorable experience.

Enjoy a delicious three course meal served within the comfortable ambiance of the Cavendish restaurant in the historic Stables courtyard at Chatsworth, created using the finest ingredients sourced from our award winning suppliers and the Chatsworth Estate. We had the most amazing champagne afternoon tea. The staff were all brilliant. The food and drink were excellent. It was a faultless experience and we would definitely recommend it.

A little expensive but mine was a birthday treat and we enjoyed every single minute of it. The food was amazing and definitely tasted homemade. The staff were very attentive and we had everything we asked for including the leftover food being boxed up so we could take it home. An experience to remember

This was a fantastic afternoon team experience - the food was lovely and served at a good pace with plenty of space in between. When the food arrived the server explained what it was and which course we were having. The restaurant team were warm, friendly and really helped make the experience. There was no rush and everything was beautifully presented - we were even encouraged to order more hot drinks. This couldn't have been any better - Perfect!

Had afternoon tea for a birthday treat, Enjoyed every part of the experience, excellent food, amazing lady who served are afternoon tea, very helpful with advice on the different tea’s available to have. Wonderful afternoon in the Cavendish Restaurant.

Recommend to book beforehand. Lovely setting and lovely food. Service a bit haphazard as didn't seem to be a dedicated server for your table. A nice treat .
