   This is our favorite winery in the North GA mountains. Claire is wonderful and so is Tucker the vineyard dog. We love the relaxed atmosphere and the fantastic wines. A must visit.

   Even though we used your service to reserve a table when we called to say we were going to be a little late we were told they no longer reserved tables and just have not removed this from their website. We also ordered food and for some reason they lost our order so we never received it even though they gave us two pagers for both of the items they ordered.

   I love this place! You feel as if you are at a friends house. So many places to get comfy and talk with friends or loved ones. What a terrific way to watch the eclipse!

   You don’t need a reservation. This is not a restaurant. This is a winery where you can order small plates at a counter. The food and wine are good but expensive. It is kid friendly. They have donkeys you can feed. There used to be a playground, but they took it out recently. We enjoy the atmosphere outside overlooking the hillside.

   Great wine, great atmosphere, really enjoyable and relaxing. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back.

   I so enjoyed Cavender Creek. It was a small and perfect casual winery with such a cozy ambience. I will so be back!!

   The building and property is beautiful. The prices are pretty steep for what you get. We had been here awhile ago before the renovations and my husband loved the red wine with the Norton grapes but the girls manning the bar didn’t know what a Norton grape was or which wine was made with them. We did a red flight and a white flight. My husband was able to figure out which wine it was so we bought 9 bottles since we are not local to the area. The Chardonnay was the only white that I liked so we purchased 3 bottles of that. There was no discount for the case and the tastings were an additional charge. I doubt we will return when we visit Dahlonega again. I think this is more of a college kid hangout.

   Absolutely one of the best things to do in Georgias wine country. Tucker was the best part.
