   Amazing. Can’t wait to go back. Exceptional service, and a wonderful experience. Wine pours are a little less than I’d like to see, but nothing stopping you from just getting a glass.

   Came here for wine tasting in the Valle to celebrate my husband's birthday on a Saturday. Carlos was our host for the tasting and was truly phenomenal with his service. He spoke great English and gave us the perfect amount of attention and privacy. I loved that we were able to make a reservation easily through OpenTable. The view here was beautiful and they will soon be open for staying the night. The food here was excellent too. The catch of the day yellowtail sashimi was so delicious we wanted to eat the sauce on the plate. The white and rose wines were our favorite. I recommend stopping here to grab lunch and wine. It was a wonderful experience and we will for sure be coming back for a tasting with Carlos.

   We had an excellent wine tasting at Cava Maciel Vinicola. Our server, Jennifer was excellent and knowledgeable with regards to the wines. we will be back again soon! Oh yeah, we purchased a case to be shipped to us and it arrived 2 days later. much faster than anticipated.

   We had an incredible time at Cava Maciel. The owner was present during our visit and gave us a lovely tour of the crush pad. We chose to eat and taste at the place and had one of the best meals of the trip. We highly recommend Cava Maciel for anyone that interested in having a special and off-the-beaten-path experience.

   Our first stop and we started out right! Carlos @cavamaciel was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable and kind. We learned about Cava Maciel’s history, their winemaking process, including the old grape press and loads of other tidbits. Carlos went above and beyond by recommending restaurants, bars, and even a few other wineries. He even went as far as making us dinner reservations for that evening at a not to be missed venue with delicious and amazing food, cocktails and service. Stay tuned. 😉 We left with the Apogeo 2016 Nebbiolo!

    Carlos was a fantastic host, guiding us through the tasting with lots of detailed information about the wines, production and the history of the region. Great experience and enjoyable low intervention yet clean wines. Will return with friends!
