Good but no where near as good as usual. Service was slow and not attentive. We always order the pork belly as it is melt in the mouth, this time it was tough. We advised the waiter and he said he would pass the feedback to the chef but nothing fur5er came of this.

Brilliant waitress but poor presentation of food. Steak just dumped in the middle of a huge plate with nothing else. Fortunately it tasted good but can't help but feel overall experience could be better.

Restaurant was like a nightclub with the music, asked them to turn it down so that could hear our order and it did for about 2 songs. Obviously music is for the staff preference regather than customers. Food was good but put down it was for a birthday but apart from hearing another table receive their “birthday” gift, nothing came to our table.

Once again lovely steak lovely pepper sauce amazing fat chips . The fancy pants red is nice red to go with steak . Delicious pancakes with ice cream .

My husband and I choose Cau to celebrate me reaching half way through chemotherapy. Surprisingly it wasn’t too busy on The Friday night. The food was amazing. We opted for the 17oz steaks but they were so huge we couldn’t finish them! We have previously eaten at Hawksmoor in London and while we enjoyed the steak at Hawksmoor we both agreed that our steaks at Cau were far superior. The steaks were tender, juicy and very tasty. The service was great and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We are planning on returning to celebrate the end of my treatment.
