Cattlemens is a an American steak house and grill. The dining room is designed like an Old West-style saloon. Everything about the decor is an homage to cowboys, gold rush towns and cooking over a campfire. Each night there is a different menu item on special, whether it is the slow-cooked prime rib, 20-ounce T-bone or surf n' turf 8-ounce sirloin and jumbo shrimp combo. Steaks are king at Cattlemens, with several cuts of meat and different seasoning options. In addition to these hearty cuts of beef, there are several rib options guaranteed to fill up even the hungriest diner. These include a rack of baby back pork ribs, classic dry-rub beef ribs or an herb-crusted rack of lamb. The bar menu, or saloon menu as its known at Cattlemens, has several fine spirits, craft cocktails and cold draft beer.

Excellent service and delicious food! The interior of the restaurant was very nice and comfortable! Love the cowhide chairs in the bar!

The service was outstanding. Our steaks were undercooked, but they took them back to finish them. The cook then followed up to make sure we were good.

We had the sweetest waitress but that was it from there. To start the soup we were told was not the soup they brought out. Should have come as an appetizer but came with the meal. Chicken noodle and chicken tortilla are two different things. Our side of veggies in lieu of the salad never came. Our steaks were wrong - not the right cut more cooked right. The manager came over and told me to eat my potatoes and she would get them redone. Our party of four ate in stages and not together. The restroom was not clean and did not have hand soap. I let the manager know that too. For an expensive dinner and all of the problems and on Fathers Day too - one would think the manager could have been more “sorry” about our experience. This is exactly why we do not frequent Cattleman’s for a $300 check - I was disappointed for sure.

The renovation is very beautiful! The food was really, really good, however, it is very disappointing to have Prime Rib (what Cattlemen’s is known for locally) completely removed from the menu. Also hate that the yeast rolls were gone. Those were the two things we were looking forward to and what we typically go there for. Bar back threw away my husbands (2nd) Old Fashioned before he ever even took a sip…still not sure why that happened. Then the replacement one was nothing like the first one. Wasn’t the same taste, color and wasn’t full (made by different bartender) and he had to ask for another one from the original bartender. Should be consistency in that since it was the Cattlemen’s special Old Fashioned. Mixed feelings about here now, used to be our favorite place.

I ordered the meatloaf and I was expecting some country flavor but instead it was spicy. Why?! Some dishes you expect spicy but who decided that meatloaf had to be spicy?! And $20 for meatloaf?! This is nothing against the service or the restaurant but I won’t be back.

Waitress was absolutely awesome! Service was spot on perfect. The steak was perfectly cooked and amazing!

We decided to go give it a try after several years. What a surprise. It was fantastic ! Parking is a challenge. We give it a fun 10.

There is nothing special about this restaurant. The food was forgettable and mediocre. While the steak was perfectly cooked (bone in ribeye), it lacked flavor. The Steak tartare had a very heavy mustard flavor and not enjoyable. The calamari is the only thing we ordered that I liked and it’s not anything special. Our server lacked personality; we felt rushed from the time we got seated. After asking for more time to go over the menu (as they do not have the dish that I originally wanted) our server walked away then returned after a minute and stood by us, waiting as if inconvenienced. We felt pressured to make a decision quickly. Sadly, too much hype, but totally not worth it.

Pleased with the service Cheyenna provided. 1st time visiting and decided to select the 24oz. Porter House medium rare. My guest decided on a 7oz sirloin. House salads were nice with a selection of housemade dressings. The complimentary corn bread and biscuits were delicious. Baked potatoes were ordered loaded. If you prefer shredded cheese, request it since it’s liquid cheese that is poured inside. I wasn’t impressed with the seasoning on the P.H. If your expecting your tastebuds to go wild with only salt and pepper, Bring some “slap yo momma” seasoning. I recommend adding a steak sauce or should have asked for herb butter to compliment it. Cheese cake was ordered to go and enjoyed the taste of fresh strawberries and cream at home. There’s always room for cheesecake. For a Monday evening reservation the restaurant was full and busy. Wishing Cattlemen’s a successful renovation and cheers to the future.
