Our chefs are committed to working with local farmers and producers that practice sustainable farming and support animal welfare. Our beef is free-range, Black Angus, grass-fed and grain-finished from Stone Mountain Cattle Co. located in Dublin, GA.

My steak came out with cold center. My wife’s cam out rare vs medium.

We love this restaurant. The oyster appetizer is delicious and the fish entree was fabulous!! A perfect small dessert is a terrific ending to a great meal!
Changed the menu since we first went and now the Wagu steak is $20 more expensive. First tone we had it melted like butter. Steak wasn’t very good this time around. Took some favorites off the menu. Great atmosphere and service is excellent. Disappointed in the new menu, very expensive.

Our experience was AMAZING!! We loved the new menu! We had the oysters and mussels for apps. They were FABULOUS!! For dinner, we had the filets, lobster Mac n Cheese, collard greens, asparagus and crab cakes. All were full of flavor and totally AWESOME!!! Chef Jimmy Carter is an outstanding chef!!
Restaurant was not crowded at all and unlike many establishments, staffing did not appear to be an issue as lots of wait staff around. Manager did a drive by not very engaged at all. Waited :30 minutes for first beverage. Food was forgettable; dressing on kale Caesar salad was thin and watery; mussels, while plentiful were not flavorful. NY strip was cooked to order. Several dishes on the new menu were not available; first day of new menu - don’t put the dishes on the menu!
Heath was a fantastic waiter and kept the dining experience fun and light. The filet was amazing, cooked to perfection. The blue cheese dressing on the wedge was lacking. Very thin dressing for an upscale steak restaurant that has Maytag blue cheese on its menu. The El Diablo cocktail was delicious, inventive and executed perfectly. The gnocchi with mushrooms was delicious but could have used a better mushroom to gnocchi ratio. More mushrooms please. The staff was well dressed and understood the importance of impression. I was extremely delighted with our experience and will be dreaming of that meal until next time!
Very nice place, welcoming staff. Need actual appetizers on menu. Only complaint regarding food is that Pork Chop on the menu stated 16 ounces, no way, maybe 8 ounces.
Never had a bad meal here just the opposite they’ve all been amazing and the service has been great each and every time!
Ribye and Wagyu Fileta were top notch. Great sides as well.

Overpriced for mediocre food… waitress only checked in when we ordered our food and to give us our check. Not short staffed; lots of employees. Decor was “eclectic”; diff decorations thrown together. Won’t be back… was excited to check out a new place; expected more since it was at Halcyon. Big mistake!!

we had a wonderful date night at cattle shed last night. the restaurant is on the smaller size, which i thought just added to the ambience. justin, our server, was very friendly and knowledgeable. our wine and dinner were very good, just right portion size. we talked to the manager, chris, who checked on us repeatedly. i highly recommend cattle shed!!

This is a great place, but plan to spend some bucks. Great food, great service, great drinks, but a little loud. We went for an anniversary and had a great time. It is a little loud because of the openness, so if you're looking for quiet, this isn't it. I'd go again, but I have one reservation....
The only thing I didn't care for was watching the plate preparers scooping food onto plates with their bare hands. I was able to watch while they prepared our dishes because I happened to look that way and then they brought those plates to our table.

We dined at Cattle Shed for my husband’s 50th birthday. I was looking for something upscale with great ambiance to celebrate his special day. The interior is very nice, but that’s where it ended for us. Our server was either new or simply not good because she did not know anything about the food preparation or specials. Cocktails from the bar were very good. Salads were lackluster. My husband split the Porterhouse with my son and for $110, it was beyond unimpressive. It came out on a plain plate and looked like it should be at Waffle House. Steak tasted just average and we grill better at home. I ordered the fish of the day and it was ok, but nothing special. No mention of my husband’s 50th birthday, even though it was listed on the reservation. It would have made the meal a little more special. General Manager was walking around and spent most of his time leaning around talking to employees. Cattle Shed definitely didn’t deliver on the “experience” they seem to tout. For a $300 meal, the value was TERRIBLE. I don’t see them being open in a year.
The waiter James was friendly and awesome. The food was excellent and will be back.
We found that many of the descriptions on the menu did not match the food that actually came out. Example: “Smashed Fingerlings” were just regular roasted fingerling potatoes. The octopus appetizer also said it came with fingerling potatoes and it was actually a fingerling potato salad with lots of other flavors and lots of mayonnaise. Our biggest complaint was that almost every dish was covered in dill or had dill in it (beef tartare, octopus, fish special, fingerling potato salad and even the burger had essence of it). This was very strange to us because dill was never even mentioned one time on the menu. We were also disappointed in the quality of the NY strip. Half of it was almost inedible due to large fat veins running through it. Putting the food aside, we LOVED the look of the restaurant, wine list and our server did a great job. We are hoping a few kinks in the menu get worked out, and we look forward to returning.
Excellent service, wavy filet is to die for! You have to try the vegetables, mix it up they are yummy.
Third time here since opening and unfortunately this experience was markedly less impressive than either of the last two, with only the first visit being truly stellar.
Tough market in general and then coupled with this area of North Atlanta, I get that servers are just going to be inexperienced - our server was nice but quiet and didn’t check in much, we had to ask for too many basic things, no bread service, cocktail was not properly prepared, etc.
Food experience was altogether different and underwhelming. Wagyu filet was split between two of us but probably 75/25 as it relates to portions. Upgraded to have foie gras and umami sauce on each portion and the foie came out on a separate plate after the steaks had already been delivered and there was a scant amount of umami space on each plate. The filet also had some bad parts that had not been trimmed out which detracted from the enjoyment. Still no truffles so my advice is to source other unique add-ons besides just shrimp (lobster tempura, stone crab claw meat...get creative)
Moo ping pork ribs were dry and didn’t have the crusty caramelization that created the flavor bomb that blew us away the first time. Ember roasted veggies have switched to bell peppers (vs carrots) now which we tried but left us asking WTH.
This place has the potential to be really really great - we experienced that on our first visit - but work to be done on many details. Lighting is still terrible and the glare from the neighbors white wall make it even more harsh. Someone needs to use the dimmers and create a better atmosphere.
I thought I would reserve this feedback for direct email but you do not have anything listed on your website that I could find that would allow for that so I had to leave it here. Hoping this is valuable to your team.
I’m cheering you guys on and will try again but first visit was a 10, second was 7.5 and this one dropped to a 6 so I’m sure that’s not the direction you want a customer to experience.
The steaks (we had the dry aged ribeye and the Wagyu Filet) were OUTSTANDING. The service was excellent as well so if you’re looking for a nice night out, this is the place to beat!
Fantastic service and food! The grilled octopus is a must. Loved the wedge with the butter lettuce...unique. Ribeye, cooked perfectly! Will be back!

We absolutely loved dining at Cattle Shed! We started with a nice bourbon and a Cattle Shed Sangria to which we added a House made charcuterie board, the grilled octopus and a nice salad. It was love at first bite! We then moved to a mouthwatering New York strip accompanied by shrimp and two vegetables (we couldn’t choose between the ember roasted peppers or the grilled squash with house made labneh…. so we ordered both) :-) We finished it off with a milk chocolate hazelnut crunch and some decaf coffee. The food was fabulous and the staff was wonderful! The way my husband put it …. “the food is truly art.” Yes it was and the staff was warm and attentive. Quite a feat given the times. We can’t wait to come back!

At first I ordered the ribeye. It came out tough, small and not a ribeye. I sent it back and switched to the rib. The ribs were good. The steak came with nothing. No veggies. No salad. Nothing. Just a small 16oz over cooked tough cut of meat with nothing else. And way over priced at that. $72 for a 16oz steak. Certainly not worth it. A steakhouse like Cabernet might have been a better option. I did t have a bad dinner. The ribs saved the day. Although once I sent the steak back they took forever switch my dinner. Should be some hustle in it when you swapping out a dinner. They missed the mark.
Great ambiance, okay food for a steak house it really should be outstanding for the price. Service was great and drinks were made well. If I return I won’t be ordering a steak.
