   It was closed for the winter months. I don't understand how the reservation and confirmation could have been taken, then sent !!! Also, how am I expected to rate it when it was closed ?

   Very creative menue. An exceptional dinner. Very fresh, authentic, esthetic and tasty. Our best meal in Canada (so far)

   Dining at Cathedral is a special experience. The lodge, deep in the forest along the Kicking Horse River, is beautifully situated with a lovely view. Inside, the high vaulted wooden beam ceilings are impressive while the large windows allow in lots of light. A large fireplace and comfy cottage-style furniture give the room a cozy intimate feeling. The menu is above average and we loved the items we ordered. The service staff are attentive and freindly. Its a great option if you are staying at Cathedral, otherwise it is well worth the drive. It is a small dining room so reservations are a good idea.

   We'd been at Cathedral Mountain many years ago and always remembered the great meals we had enjoyed, so it was a real treat to be able to stop there again. The food was as good as ever and we look forward to coming back again in the future.

   Wonderful restaurant. Very quiet and romantic. Food was out of this world and the view was very pretty.

   Great dinning experience at CML! We had the perfect table with great view of the river and the mountain and the service was just at good speed. Food was the most impressive from the experience with great presentation and mostly a pleasure to taste. The chefs are playing very well with savours. You need to try the halibut main dish or the lobster appetizer which were our two key highlihhts:) Thanks for the great dinning experience!

   We had an excellent meal with great wine recommendations, and a very accommodating chef (food allergies).

   Only problem is very late open time of 8:15 due to holding better times for those staying. Bear sighting was high point that sent diners to the deck for pictures.
