Our server Zach was outstanding and first and second courses outstanding— Desserts were a little disappointing— and too big! All students were great for service and very prompt— witnessed a very difficult customer at adjacent table that the student waiter handled with poise and composure. Had lunch and glad we did not eat here for dinner— because portions were more than adequate … Would not hesitate to eat here again!

Service was top notch. Staff asked if food was good and if we needed anything. One thing I did not like was ricotta appetizer. We were sharing several appetizers and ordered two ricotta dishes. It wasn’t even enough for one person. There was barely one tablespoon of ricotta. I thought there could have been more. The main dishes were good. Dessert was the best.

We were greeted warmly and the host was very accommodating. The service was adequate considering the waitstaff were all relatively inexperienced students but they were trying their best. I was forewarned when reading reviews so my expectations were low. They did better than I had expected. The portions were pretty small, but the food was very well prepared. I liked the bar offerings were from local sources, and I thought the prices were very reasonable. A party of four, sharing two appetizers, three glasses of wine, one cocktail, four entrees, one dessert and three cups of coffee came to $77/person. Bonus was beautiful campus, views of Hudson River and free parking!

I love this restaurant of all of the CIA restaurants. The food is consistently exceptional, the student staff are amazing, and I love coming back year after year!

It’s interesting to observe and engage with the CIA students as they actively perform their classwork for the diners. Food quality was good. We especially liked the charcuterie and pasta options.
