Disappointing dinner at Catch. I have been to Catch in two other locations and had wonderful meals. Catch Aspen was another story. We began with cocktails and the Catch Martini arrived with three empty olives. Part of the price and reason I ordered was because of the blue cheese stuffed olives. When I asked the waiter he stated "We are out of many things tonight, sorry". We then went on to order Caviar service as it was an Anniversary. Also, no caviar that night. We ordered a wedge, which we should have remembered, no blue cheese...hence, no blue cheese crumbles. That was not mentioned so we received the wedge and said we didn't care for it and the waiter said "No problem, I will box it for you" Then proceeded to box it and set it on the table in a bag. This was before the entree had arrived. We placed it on the floor near us. I had the truffle butter filet, which was fine. My husband ordered the Prime 12oz Bone In Filet and it was presentd on two plates. One with the steak and a smaller plate with the bone?? We found this so strange. The atmosphere was great. We rarely saw the waiter. The other attendants were great. There were no apologies made for the lack of items (which we should have been made aware of) and certainly no discount offered. Overall, we had a disappointing first visit to Catch Aspen and will not return. Disappointing as we had just had private shopping at Gucci and it was very convenient. There are to many excellent restaurants in Aspen that are transparent. Do not reccommend.

Catch was such a disappointment! From the rap music that we were told could not be changed to the terrible service , do yourself a favor and go to a true steak house. We ask for our steak to be cooked medium rare plus .. No Chop the wedge salad… No Have a different side with the salmon.. No Cracked pepper… No It appears this place cannot accommodate any request and is more of an assembly line mentality. Steak was good but had to ask for the sauce we paid for! No idea who our server was because different people came to table. Overall disappointing.

Service was not good. Waiter pushed highest priced dishes and did mot make eye contact with people who were ordering or asking questions. He seemed disinterested in our party. The food was good, but not great. They substituted okra for eggplant without telling us on one dish. The branzino and salmon were cooked nicely. I would try them again, but they definitely are not my first choice in Aspen due to the service we received.

The flavor of the steaks, Mac n cheese, and waffle fries were fabulous. The drinks were strong and the service was tentative. Can’t wait to come back. Only thing I noticed was we got a 6oz dry aged rib cap steak when we had requested the 8oz truffle butter filet. Next time I guess

This is an outstanding restaurant. I came back 2 nights after my first meal. I had the 12 oz none in filet and it was absolutely perfect. The bearnaise was world class. The service was personal, and also Michelin Star quality.

Mostly good food but the salads were overdressed and the service was a little spotty they require that you order everything at once rather than drinks then appetizers then main separately The meal costs over $150 per person and for that kind of money I was hoping to have some flexibility in the timing of my meal

Best dining experience in Aspen Food was amazing, our server Alex was the most attentive and outstanding server we have ever had and Tracy the asst GM just can’t say enough great things about her and the entire experience Truffle butter filet, duck ravioli, mashed potatoes, and the special chocolate all made for a very memorable evening. 5 stars aren’t enough!

Mind looking good steak. The menu is so fantastic, most of staff fantastic, especially at the bar. Some of the waiting staff is a bit condescending with approach to the menu and explanations, however, that got reflected in tip because the food is everything.

We have dined at Catch Steak several times and had excellent food and service. Previously, the Imperial Cut Waygu has been the best steak we have experienced. Something was off this time and it was just ok. The spinach and corn were also off. The wedge salad and mashed potatoes were excellent. I guess every restaurant can have an off night so we’ll give it another try because of their prior excellent track record.

Everything overall was great. The prices were high but it was expected being in Aspen. However, the cocktails were way overpriced. If they lowered them a little I would have had another drink. And the wines by the glass selection was very limited. The food was very good, our waiter was also very friendly.

Went there with a group of 7 backpackers to celebrate completion of a great 4 day trip. Food, cocktails, wine, and service were superb and you pay accordingly, it’s Aspen. We had two 40 oz Tomahawk steaks for the main course split among us 7 (no extra charge for splitting) and it was the perfect amount with two salads shared, a couple of rolls shared, and a few sides shared. Interesting event in that we boisterous (but well behaved) so a little noisy. The table next to us was a family out for a quiet dinner and rather than making a fuss at us and asking us to quiet down, which happened anyway once the food arrived, they moved the family to another table. Nice solution.

One of the best Restaurant in town and new locals favorite! Very consistent on Everything from great service to excellent delicious food! Our server Anna was lovely and gracious to make sure our dinner experience is great! The Kitchen crew team was exclusively on making sure everything is on spot and hot and delicious when it comes out from the window of the kitchen! Brian and David the managers team are excellent too!

Do you want to take your taste buds on a ride?Start with the spicy g then enjoy the tomahawk steak with truffle+caramel+soy sauce with a side of mac and cheese… then take a break- have some langoustine dripped in truffle butter. Then surprise yourself with the Baked Alaska. You’ll thank me later.
