On Sunday 05/20/2018 at 7:00pm Dinner Reservations: The server was beyond rude, never checked on us, and told us to wait a few times while we were trying to order our food. I could not believe the level of service we received here. We asked for our food to be placed in to go containers, the waiter that was removing the food, placed dirty napkins and utensils on top of our plate, which was a full plate of lobster mashed potatoes. We told him to stop because we wanted that and he said oh I will just take this stuff off and place it in a box don't worry. We said no please don't do that. We watched him from our table in the back pick all of the items off of the plate. You can literally see inside the kitchen from the table we were at through a box clear frame in the door. He then came right back (mind you we can see him) with three table spoon servings of Lobster Mash Potatoes that he just scraped off of the dirty plate. When we explained to the waitress what happened she said oh well do you want it or not? She said you ate all of that right and we said no because my goddaughter who is suffering from cancer cannot have potatoes before a PET SCAN which she had to have the next morning at 7am at Children's Hospital. She then proceeded to say well what do you want me to do about it? Do you want them or not? We just said can we have the check please. We wanted to get out of there and quickly. She came back tossed the dessert menu on the table, which we thought was the check and when she came back we said, we just want the check please. Her response again....ok soooooo you don't want to dessert with an attitude. We were beyond upset and disappointed at this point with the entire evening.

Poorly run, over crowded and loud. Serving very ordinary and over priced food and drink. $180 for brunch for two, basically pancakes. Never again.

Great, buzzy ambience and the servers were very professional.
The food was not amazing as I had expected/had been suggested but it was made up for in atmosphere. Good for a group event for sure.

Everything about Catch LA was outstanding - the food was excellent; the atmosphere was lively; the environment, inside and outside, was beautiful; and we didn't have to wait long for out food to be served.

The best thing about the restaurant was the outstanding, friendly, and very accommodating service provided by the hostess and our wonderful waiter. They knew we were in a bit of and went above and beyond to accommodate us in a very kind, courteous, friendly, and efficient manner. They worked hard to get us in and out quickly, providing impeccable service, literally, "with a smile".

The only downside (not at all the fault of the restaurant), was the fact that the parking garage was completely full. Therefore, some of the members of our party had to drive around to find alternative parking.

I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

Had reservations but there was still an hour wait for our table. Our table was in between two other tables with male diners. Both set of mens were very intrusive and forward with their advances and this is before our waiter had a chance to tell us the night’s special. One man had the nerve to move his table and seat closer to mine until I told him to back off and respect my space. Our waiter noticed and had a talk with the man. So I’m appreciative of that.

Food, drinks, and dessert were Devine as always and worth the prices.

We had to wait an extra 20 minutes but I’ll forgive it for our waitress. She was so kind and nice and made sure we were satisfied. Food was expensive but that was expected, but the food was delicious.

The atmosphere is amazing and beautiful!

We didn’t know you couldn’t reserve a table for drinks and dessert. They should tell you that when you make a reservation. They made 6 of us get up from our table go to a high top table which when we got there realized there was enough seating for 2.... they did give us free shots and the waitress who took over made the experience much better.

Loved the food and the ambience. Was a great choice for an anniversary dinner, but would go there for any occasion, because the food was excellent. Compliments to the chef and kitchen staff! The experience (including dining, service, ambience) as a whole, was executed impeccably with great attention to details. Thanks for a great evening!

We had a great server. The food was good but over priced for the small "tapas" portions. We were there to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday. It was very loud but she had a good time.

I reserved catch last night for my best friends bday dinner... for a party of 4, (3of us) we got there 10 min early... I checked in and they asked for the forth person I said she will be here in 5 min... they said you have to wait at the bar until the 4th person comes... we said ok! We deceived to take few pic with bday girl meanwhile her mom is parking... the security was not slowing us to take pictures! But he was okay if other people was standing there and taking pics by the entrance.... he did that few times! My friend was so mad and sad about their discrimination!!! Until her mom came after 10 min... again, we came back by the entrance to say Hi to her and bringing her inside where I was sited due to my ankle injury I had recently and I was not able to stand... anyway.. the security guard again came and said go inside! I said I just got here to bring he in! And I need to check in... the way he was reacting was too much! Very rude! And made very each of us unhappy !!! Specially the mother of bday girl got sad because of their reaction to our completely normal greetings... anyway... the worst part was... they didn’t give us a table until an hour later than my reservation time!!! I was suffering ankle pain and I was not able to stand for an hour and so ... my friend who was her bday and her mom was so sad...
Of course the food was amazing as always... and our food servers were so nice and friendly. Thank you to them.

The reservation desk upstairs and the security need to learn how to provide right service, respect people’s reservation and of course not looking at the Catch’s guest with discrimination!!!

The hostesses were very rude. They acted like they own the place. Very very bad customer service. I don’t care how good the food is it’s the service that is the most important experience. It’s a very nice ambiance but the hostesses don’t know how to greet people nicely.

Went there for dinner to celebrate my 21st birthday and had the best experience! Got there about 30 minutes before my reservation and went to the bar where the bartender realized it was my birthday and treated me to both the drinks I had ordered! All of the food was great, would definitely go back and 10/10 recommend.

Catch LA was worth the drive (we drove an entire hour from the Inland Empire to get there, it took over an hour). Parking is a hassle, because you either valet your car or park by the metered slots (almost never available).

As you enter, you're advised to take the elevator all the way to the rooftop where the restaurant is located. Once there, you have a breathtaking view of the city. Fiberglass walls and roof insulate you from the rain if you want to eat outdoors, but outside and inside, lush greenery create an excellent backdrop for your instagrammable photos.

I recommend the Tuna Tartar Trio as well as the Lobster Eggs Benedict. The Impossible Burger is completely vegan, tastes exactly like meat and bleeds similarly too. Note that seating can be cramped and you can overhear conversations from your neighboring table. I was seated outside, so I don't know if this is the same for indoor dining.

The bill for 3 people came to around $200, but the restaurant made us feel like we got value for our money. For Mother's Day, they gave me a bunch of flowers and a box of macarons. I recommend going there for special occasions, but if you're trying to grab a quick meal on the weekends, good luck.
