   We went for what we thought was a Christmas menu, however were informed when we got there it was only available for parties. We ordered from the main menu - there was a hair in our starter which the staff quickly rectified. We all ordered steaks which were lovely, the menu stated they came with peppercorn sauce which it did not come with. When we asked the waitress she said we were wrong, we explained that’s what it said and then another person came over to tell us they had run out of the sauce. This would have been nice to know before we had ordered the food. It was an ok evening but was let down by the attentiveness of the staff and lack of clarity on the menu.
