Service and ambience and hospitality always 5 stars with this restaurant group in all there restaurants. I was disappointed in food. I had prawn pasta in cream sauce. Just lacked flavor in sauce.

The clam chowder was delicious but was served Luke warm. The Fruta d Mara pasta was very fishy, the broth was bad and the shrimp was not completely cooked and the pasta was hard. The crusted halibut tasted and looked like it came out of a box. Not impressed and do not recommend.

This restaurant is a gem. It’s amazing staff and delicious food are appropriate for any dining experience from every day to special occasions. The selection of the menu can please zap the diners in your party. It’s ambience is soothing and delightful. I highly recommend this lovely spot to dine

The restaurant messed up our reservation, so that created an inconvenience with Open Table. Open Table reserved the issue after I explained what the restaurant did. We ordered the special oyster of the night, which we regretted. I forgot the name of the dish. Too much bread. We should have stuck with the fresh oysters idea we originally had. Service was great. We sat at the bar and were able to communicate with our server. Wine list for glasses is extremely limited. We needed a much drier white wine than what was offered. All dishes looked great. Just exercise caution when ordering specials.

We live nearby, so have enjoyed Catch many times. But it took our last visit several days ago for me to stop being lazy to rave: the garlic shrimp pizza is phenomenal! The crust is so good - crispy yet chewy and a wonderful flavor that enticed you to eat every bite. We will try the other pizzas ofcourse, but the garlic shrimp was so good - they brought us a small bowl of red peppers and a light sprinkling provided the final spark to unite the flavors. Service is always excellent. This is a can’t miss stop in Carmel!!

Finally! We found a great seafood place in Carmel by the Sea! Lovely service, wonderful food and extra touches of hospitality! The only improvement I would suggest is get rid of the Muzak and play classic ‘40s and 50’s.I kept wanting to hear Bobby Darren’s “under the sea “ while I was there! Very cool decor! We will go back!

Came for our anniversary dinner. A very quiet night on Ocean Ave as well as inside the restaurant. Started with a couple of cocktails. Make sure you inquire the pricing on the selection of liquor as there is no pricing. Ordered and was told the well was not a good one so I chose an upgrade but had sticker shock as I order it at other restaurants and it’s not THAT pricey…but the server promptly rectified it and brought me a glass of Prosecco to appease me. The calamari was a good portion but it was a little bland. Can tell the oil was fresh for deep frying as the breading and calamari was cooked perfectly. The oysters were delicious but the muscle part of the oyster wasn’t removed so while trying to pull oyster off the shell it was a bit of a tug of war. The fish tacos were absolutely delicious! My husband had the crab and lobster ravioli. The dish was missing something… just wasn’t flavorful enough beyond the pesto flavors. We skipped dessert as we were full but the manager brought us dessert wine. All in all, I would still come visit here again. The service was great and they had a gentleman come around and play his guitar for our anniversary and a birthday at another table. Thank you to the ladies who made it a nice evening!

The crab cakes were good. The little red gem on the arugula salad added a pop of flavor. But the pan seared halibut was bland. The servers and the receptionist weee very attentive. So if you are looking for good customer service go to this restaurant but food is mediocre for the price.

Overall great experience. The servers were more than helpful and the ambience was on point. The food did take a while to arrive but it was worth the wait although the calamari could’ve been a little more crispier but that’s a personal preference. Overall 4/5 ohh and if you’re into the whole serenade thing while eating than this is definitely for you 😂

We dined at Catch last October and the food and service were excellent! This year the food was good but service was nonexistent. It was if the wait staff disappeared at times. We were 1 of 2 tables when we arrived and there were 5 tables seated when we left.

We felt ignored, we had to ask twice for bread and water, nobody came to see if everything was okay.Food was good but for the price the service should be great. We won’t be back. There are plenty of good restaurants in Carmel that also have excellent service.

Unfortunately under staffed, as are many. Main course was delivered after 30 minutes due to kitchen not receiving order. Filet over done at medium & lacked flavor the lobster was delicious. Truffled lobster risotto, very little lobster just remnants, 2 shrimp 1 scallop and no taste of truffle. Server was pleasant, it was clean & the caviar & champagne amuse bouche was a nice touch. Nice wine list.

My husband and I had our first trip to Carmel over Labor Day this year. We have tried so many different restaurants while here, but this was my least favorite. It was not bad at all, the food was just average in my option along with everything else (service, atmosphere, etc). I would “maybe” go back, but it’s not a place I would tell about to my friends. I wish it was better.

Service was at times nonexistent . They did not appear to be short handed as we saw 3 waiters and an assistant/bus for a fairly small dining room. We waited 20 minutes after being seated for anyone to come by and food was 40 min after that - the room was about 1/3 full when we sat down - at 5:15. We saw people leaving after sitting and not getting served and the people next to us took their bill up to pay because we had not seen anyone for about 15 min. The crab cakes were good and the fish tacos extremely large portions, and good.

One of our favorite restaurants, and the one place I wanted my birthday dinner. The truffled lobster risotto is so good I was willing to drive 5 hours for it. Everything they serve is fantastic.
