Catalina is an iconic harbourside restaurant, family owned and operated since 1994. It is a light airy modern space with wonderful views, floor to ceiling glass, and outdoor balcony seating. The menu is Mediterranean-inspired and features sustainable seafood from the best producers Australia-wide, and grass fed and free range meat and poultry. The wine list is one of the best wine lists in Australia, featuring over 800 wines, and receiving a 3 Goblet rating every year in the Wine List of the Year Awards. The service is welcoming, friendly, informal and yet, professional. An ideal venue for all occasions: from everyday dining, to business lunches, to celebrations, to wedding receptions and events. Another fabulous experience at Catalina, definitely my favourite restaurant in Sydney! Service and food was immaculate as always!

Food & service was outstanding.Ambience was unfortunately lost through all noisy groups of tables so really loud. Other than that everything else was first class

Went at night, view was nice but probably better during the day. Fixed a la carte menu so 150 for an entree, main and dessert. Food servings on the smaller side, in saying that we were full by the end of the night. You pay for the view and the ambience. Attentive staff and great small touches to commemorate our occasion.

We had a fabulous time at Catalina for a birthday lunch. We both had the 7 course degustation lunch, and I had the wine pairing. Such delicious food, I loved the wines, and my wife enjoyed her cocktails. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We’d asked for a table with a view, and was given one by the window, overlooking the water. Then when the sun got a little too bright they immediately moved us to a more shaded spot, still with the awesome view by the window. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion (& the toilets are the nicest I’ve seen!)

Two quibbles prevent a clean sweep: the veal main wandered stylistically, and the steak-knife / fork set looked as though it had seen one dégustation too many. Everything else, from pacing to wine matches, landed exactly where it should.

Even on a rainy winter's day Catalina is bright, warm and welcoming. Restaurant was busy but food and service was excellent. Great choice of cocktails/mocktails and wine by the glass - perfect for lunch. My husband felt his main of Murray cod with curry sauce was a little over powering of the fish, but beautifully cooked and presented. Other dishes we had were all excellent - stuffed zucchini flowers, crumpets with crabmeat, Coral trout. Highly recommend this restaurant for a stylish and always delicious lunch.

It is not that often I get the opportunity to take friends to a fine dining experience like Catalina’s has to offer with a fantastic waterside view. Food was excellent as was the service Well Done

It is a special occasion restaurant. Beautiful views, food and service but at a price! My husband and I felt it was all worth it though. We had a lovely lunch.
