Everything about this place was fabulous. Food, service, and atmosphere. It was the first time we ate here. We are going again for sure.
The food was great. The best sea scallops I have ever had. The staff were very friendly and professional. Outside atrium seating with heaters if needed. Unusual food, but very tasty.
Catalan is a beautiful restaurant with great dining choices. Wednesday nights all wines are 50% off. Our waiter made a great wine recommendation too.
It was an enjoyable dining experience. My sister was visiting from the Midwest. Our server took very good care of our order. Her recommendations as to he menu were wonderful. We will be back in the future.
I've never had paella before... I know, I know... have I lived under a rock?!! So with nothing to compare it to, it was Delicious! More seafood than rice and enough for two. Wine list was decent but not a lot by the glass. The ambiance was nice. I would definitely go back.
The music and food were on point, I've never had a bad meal here.
The menu was limited, but, The food and the service were exceptional. some items were seriously overpriced.
The ambiance of Catalan was delightful, both understated and elegant. The service was initially attentive then a bit aloof. The fried chicken was moist and tasty while the paella was aromatic, while the rice was crunchy and filled with fish ingredients. I did find it a bit oily however.
The management denied my use of the dining discount card I brought as it was a "special event" but redeemed themselves graciously with a pair of complimentary desserts. Very classy and delicious besides.
HUGE disappointment in most every respect. We likened our experience to those so often occuring in a brand new restaurant that hasn’t gotten the kinks worked out. Noisy! OMG! Imagine eating at center court of your high school gym “during the game.”
Parents, if you hate the looks and glares from diners seated around your table irritated by your brats that you are prone to ignore, take them to Catalan where no one will hear them...promise.
Menu: Very limited for what was supposed to represent tastes and dishes from the Mediterranean part of the world. Olives and bread were nice. We had three dishes - nothing special for the too much money.
Live music consisted of a wonderful solo guitar player. At times, he too could not be heard.
Another positive to share: There is plenty of FREE VALET PARKING.
We have always enjoyed our dining at Catalan, the food is terrific with a menu that updates and changes.
