I love to come to Castle view, but on the 27/06/25 19:30 we arrived for our meal to be seated and then find out the menu had changed from the month before was so looking forward to mu Duck. It wasn't available and starters had also changed. We still enjoyed our evening.

From beginning to finish was absolutely amazing experience! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable what they doing ! Food was spot on and delicious paired with some of my favorite chapel down wines ! Can recommend this place 100%

The food was very nice and staff are lovely very busy that day as it's father's day but staff are still attentive to the guest and always wearing a smile it's the beautiful ambience and overview of the castle that makes the experience unique.Overall it was a very pleasant experience and will definitely come back again

We took a 71 year old out for a surprise birthday dinner at 6pm which was all very lovely. I did ring in the daytime and asked "if we could have a lovely view as it was for a birthday" the girl informed me she'd make a note for the staff later. When we arrived and sat we were literally the furthest from the window with lots of empty tables. When I asked could we please be moved I was told they reserve the tables with a view for people staying there. In the hour it took to eat all eight tables by the window were empty. I get it, but I left disappointed. If we were advised when I requested a table with a view "no we only reserve these tables for guests staying with us" I would still have booked but not felt disappointment 😔 What a shame, seven other tables with customers on them but not one allowed a window table. If you're booking and not staying there please don't expect a window table. Food was ok, wine was nice. The view outside on the decking was beautiful
