We celebrated our 30th anniversary here with a meal meant for the memory books. Everything was fabulous! Thank you for making it so special for us!

Great experience. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. A little expensive, but a wonderful holiday after Thanksgiving treat with family!

The castle is beautiful and the ambiance is great. Great bourbon selection. We had a dinner and a brunch the next morning. The brunch was amazing (except the chives garnish on the chicken I picked off). The dinner the night before we had a wonderful appetizer (Brie) and the rest of the food was about average in that there wasn’t a lot of flavoring to the food. The presentation was great just wish flavoring a bit better. We will definitely go back again.

Everything was so delicious. definitely recommend the duck and the creme brulee for dessert! Beautiful place as well.

Food was not good. This is my second visit, I gave it the benefit of the doubt but I was not impressed on return. The chef needs to tighten up, basic meats were acceptable but accompanying starch and vegetable were not good. The mac and cheese was dreadful, gouda is not a good compliment to macaroni. The cream on the desert was not fresh. Work on welcoming landscaping on the entrance, increase advertising and taste before you serve and I will give it another shot. Best of Luck folks, I know it is a large undertaking.

Outstanding boutique hotel. The service was very professional, friendly and caring. We really enjoyed several of their special events planned by the hotel. The restaurant was extraordinary, with their own gardens and organic locally sourced foods.

Would recommend because it’s very pretty. The noise factor was frustrating. The food for dining was subpar and the comfort of the chairs for dining was not good.

Went there for date night, and from the very beginning, we felt welcomed in a way that was unlike almost any other place I've been to.

The staff was excellent! They were able to answer any questions that we had, and we're so kind as to give amazing recommendations.

The food came out in a timely fashion, and was top notch!

And all of that is aside from the atmosphere of the place, which was one of a kind! The bourbon bar was a nice place for an after-dinner drink.

This is a place that will be a staple on those special date nights!

Beautiful place and great service but overall not worth the drive out from other side of town. Everything was okay but we just have a few suggestions! If you are going to bother to decant an average wine at the table, then present the cork! Fresh bread & herbed butter was lovely but then the baked Brie was served wrapped in pastry & with a hunk of bread - too much carbohydrate. Some fruit or crisp veg would have been better. The lamb soup was flavorful but was like the cooking liquid from a leg roast or shank braise - could have been dressed with some mint sauce, rosemary or red currant jelly.
Wagyu beef was cooked as ordered but it was a little dry & under seasoned - we smeared the herbed butter on top & it was much better. Served with polenta & tomatoes, again lacking seasoning.
The side of Brussels (from the garden?) was strange we thought : charred, halved sprouts ( almost burnt) with five lumps of fat ( some sort of pork product ) barely rendered and way too large. Balsamic dressing (?) was pleasant.
Didn’t bother with dessert.
Jess, our server, was friendly & efficient. The tables in our area were mostly full but the atmosphere was very subdued.
Price approx $250. Overall definitely not worth it for us. We have had much tastier food elsewhere in Lexington. Nothing to complain about just not great for us.........

We celebrated our 16th anniversary. The waitress or the host didn’t care to ask but that was fine. The ambiance and food was amazing! Great seasonal decor. The castle was a little smaller than I had imagined. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our special evening together here.

Castle Farms was absolutely amazing! We took my grandma there to celebrate her 89th birthday. The menu was full of unique and delicious selections. The rooms are beautiful, and the ambiance is lively and upbeat without being overbearing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for an exciting weekend getaway, a special date night, or celebration!

We enjoyed our first trip to the Castle to celebrate a special occasion. Glad to see the inside of a Kentucky landmark. The pork chop was excellent.

The staff was amazing!! We had toured some distilleries during the day and end up being 1 1/2 hours early for our dinner reservation. The staff was so kind and seated us early! The entire staff went the extra mile! Highly recommended! The food was delicious!

We enjoyed birthday-brunch at the castle. It was not too busy, and we could wander around the top and bottom levels and grounds. 2nd floor is now closed to wandering unless you are a guest staying at the rooms in the castle.

It was phenomenal, our server knew his menu. Gave amazing recommendations. Would definitely go back when I’m back in town.

Food was just okay for some, really good for others.

Staff was inviting and the place was interesting. Way too expensive. Very limited menu. Food was mediocre at best. Glad we tried it, but won't return.

We waited a long time for our food and drinks, and there was only one other party being served. Chairs were uncomfortable. Too pricey for the value.

From the ambiance to the food was on point. Our server was attentive & kind. Brunch menu had a lot of choices. Pear mimosa was tasty. Went up to the rooftop & experienced the views of the estate. Can’t wait to enjoy again in 3 weeks with family.

Fantastic venue, great food and lovely service - only thing is we were served in the bar area for reasons unknown (we did have a booking) which was quite crowded and took some of the shine off things.

It was 5 star all the way! The grounds, the castle, hosts, bartender, waiter and chef! Spectacular!

I was disappointed in the menu. We went for lunch but the menu is breakfast and dinner. Granted, there are some items that are brunch but not many. My burger came out about 10 minutes after my companions' meals. They said there was "a problem with the beef." I asked what it was and our server said they had a problem getting it to the proper temperature. The experience was okay, but nothing extraordinary.

We were in a small dining room with a large crowd and they were loud. It made a miserable dinner for us.
