   Went for my 40th birthday. Had the short ribs and both of the mocktail drinks - everything was tasty!

   We’ve been to this restaurant several times. Everything was satisfactory. I’ve never had a wow experience here, and it’s pretty pedestrian. Everyone’s food was good. My only complaint is that three of us had the fish and chips and the fish portions were very small. They were very small pieces of fish and a lot of batter. For the price we expected more than this. In taste and proportion. The drinks were a little strong, but no one should complain about additional alcohol. Service was OK. Like I said before I’ve never had a wow experience here. We had to ask what the specials were and the market Fish it wasn’t just presented to us. I asked for a whiskey menu and was told to get up and go walk over to the bar and see what whiskeys they had up on the wall. That kind of service is pretty disappointing.. I guess I should note that we were at the table the furthest away from the bar as well. There were five of us and our bill was $240 which I guess isn’t horrible, but at the end of the day I probably would’ve had a better experience at just a local moderately priced place like a pub. I would give it 3 1/2 stars but I don’t see that as an option so I ended up giving it four.

   Outstanding only problem was the music. Would definitely recommend and come back!!

   Amazing experience! Service, food and drinks were outstanding and perfect! Thanks to Castillo Craft bar and kitchen, I have an amazing birthday night with my husband. I recommend it 100%, definitely will be back!

   Would not visit again. Ordered the fried green beans and they were very greasy. My husband ordered his steak medium rare and had to send it back twice as it was well done both times. My salmon and the other couple's dinner was ok. Server was very attentive! Drinks were good. Disappointed

   So disappointing. The Ploughman’s Board starter at $36 was overpriced and boring. The Local Fish, Mushroom Bolognese and Bison Burger left little to the imagination. The food quality was severly lacking. Too pricey, too bland and lacking in fresh quality ingredients. Overall a very mediocre place that I will not be back to when there are so many better options in the area.

   We ended up not eating here because it took twenty minutes to get our drinks. The location is nice and the restaurant decor is lovely. I did have to brush crumbs off of the banquet where we were seated and the restaurant had just opened. So, we were disappointed and won’t be back.

   We enjoyed our first visit to Castillo, everyone was very pleased with the restaurant and menu and quality of the food. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and of course very professional. Thank you Castillo for a great evening.
