Very enjoyable. Went at Happy Hour so prices reasonable. However when time was up, was just handed our bill. A 15 minute warning would have been appreciated. Apart from that though, no real complaints

It was so nice to sit outside !! Not really any views but nonetheless it was good ! Was not really properly staffed but that seems to be everywhere right now ! Our server did the best she could !

They should check what they are serving to customers before it makes it out to customer to consume. I ordered a gin martini with regular olives and olives had mold on it. I told waitress about it, she tried to excuse it.

Loved this rooftop! Came here with a party of 4 to get some drinks and a bite to eat. They have happy hour 4-6 pm. I'm usually not a white wine lover but we recently fell in love with the wine in Portugal. They have a nice Vinho Verde which is delicious. We ordered a charcuterie board for 2...little pricey at $32 but hey it's expected and it was tasty. If you want a chill night where you can actually hear yourself and guests talking....check it out!

Lovely Happy Hour at Castell Rooftop Lounge on the top of the AC Hotel in Times Square Midtown. Lovely space with great service and views! I enjoyed the vegetable platter immensely, as the Chef added seasoning to the raw veggies which elevated the simply dish tremendously! Staff was super pleasant and cheerful!

Very good drinks, good food, nice and helpful staff. Only negative point: a group of friends shouted (very loud) all evening long, disturbing other customers, and the staff did nothing about it.

Lovely place for a post-theatre drink and snacks. It's unfortunate that we were forced out early (in the city that supposedly never sleeps?) around 11 PM. Why? There were plenty of people besides our table who were perfectly happy to stay and enjoy the beautiful summer night. Other than that, it's a great space, especially if you can get a table outside.

We came for a rooftop bar experience and did not get that. After being seated, the matre d closed the roof and windows because there was a 15% chance of rain. It took all of 5 minutes to close and there was no rain showing on the Radar. They should have waited until the threat was more certain or make accommodations like leaving the walls open until something real happened. They did not budge when asked. Food and service was good but marred by the overly cautious matre d.

Excellent service. Good drinks. Got seated as per my reservation time promptly. Receptionist and lobby staff very welcoming. Nearby time squre. Not too noisy. Views ok. Recommend for a cozy drink.

Tuesday night was pleasantly chill for me. The ambience was elegant and cozy. Terrace seating were very comfortable and and lighting was charming. The music was not loud and yet it filled the air waves. Had both mocktails but I thought the pear one had more character and tasted better. Hostess was graciously accommodating. Recommend this rooftop over many out there.

Rooftop bar on Times Square? There are no sites to see, they are unable to go outside, and it's not in times square. The drinks are very pricy.

We were excited to try this place based on reviews. Unfortunately our experience left a lot to be desired. It was a side roof surrounded by taller buildings. The host was not warm and quickly reminded us of a 90 minute limit-we stayed 30 minutes. Rude and cursing crowd of young 20 year olds next to us-ruined any ambiance.. Server was indifferent-ignored by hostess on way out.. It appears those in 50s not welcome. Do not recommend

Nice location for an after matinee cocktail during happy hour. The food was fine. Disappointing that there were two small sliders on a plate for $20! But maybe that’s everywhere in Manhattan. Drinks were good and servers were attentive.

This a cool rooftop bar. The vibes are nice, great view, it’s fun to be at. The drinks were good, nothing special, expensive of course. The food was pretty good too, again nothing really special. We had the meat & cheese board, wings, and ceviche. The service was a little bizarre. They seated us and then we didn’t see anyone for at least 20 minutes. Once they took our drink order they were out of a lot of their speciality cocktails. All our drinks and apps came at the exact same time so the tiny tiny patio table was very overcrowded, it seemed most people around us were having the same experience

Venue was very aesthetic and nice. The outside couch seating was comfortable and it provided a nice place to sit and catch up. The drinks were very good as well and the waitress was able to recommend something I liked!
