This is New York City, people don’t whisper here, so obviously it wasn’t quite as a library, but the waitress is really really wonderful, very, very nice to us, and the drinks were good, and while I didn’t eat, the friend I went with was happy with her meal, and they gave her so much that I had to leave before her and she was finishing up eating :-) so it was great Time, and I’m happy about it

Its a generic hotel bar trying to pass as a rooftop destination. The drinks were terrible, overpriced, and took long to arrive. The rooftop views were surprisingly underwhelming, nothing special at all. Between the slow service, bad cocktails, and lackluster atmosphere, it’s just not worth the hype or the bill. Plenty of better spots in NYC.

The food and ambiance was great. They have a small menu so it's more a place for small bites, grab a drink, and have converstaion. When we got there it didn't matter that we had a reservation for the rooftop because the host told us it was first come first serve. We pushed back a little bit and they did find us a table, but it was a strange experience. Our waiter was not the most friendly person. I wouldn't come back honestly, but it was ok for the moment.

The hostess was rude and dismissive. If I wasn’t meeting someone I would have walked out. Honestly, it’s so easy to just be pleasant. And I’m from NYC, so I don’t even need much. There’s no way she should be the face of the bar.

Lorenzo the bar tender was fantastic. Bar manager was super accommodating. Cheese plate and dessert tastings def worth it!

Although arriving 15-mins prior to my reservation and being informed our table was being cleaned and prepped, the host continued to seat other guests ahead of my party. He even admitted to giving away the table he designated as ours. The line for entry grew longer, and the host ignored me as I stood waiting for further communication and clarity. We were eventually seated but the food and drinks were mediocre. Additionally, the kitchen ran out of most menu items. The many rooftop dining/bar options in Manhattan negates the need to give grace to an organization that exhibits poor customer service.

Not one for writing a bad review but on this occasion I feel it’s much needed, first of all the 2 cocktails were amazing! Best margaritas we’ve had in nyc to date, but the service was appalling, basically we got or 2 cocktails and our check was on its way, we thought it was the waiter clocking off, but they just wanted us out of there, shocking, the next table to us never got theirs drink, and they settled up straight away obvious had the same experience as us, definitely won’t be returning, no staff on the floor what do ever, not your usual nyc standard by far.

Wouldn't recommend so early in the year. The bar was practically empty and obviously the rooftop was closed as it was really cold. The food was quite tasty, though a little overpriced I thought. There was no real ambiance to the place, but that could have been due to the lack of guests. We were served by a lovely young lady, but she wasn't very attentive overall. It was also my birthday, so I was a little disappointed. We frequented other bars and restaurants of an evening and they scored higher.
