Cassis St. Pete
Christmas Eve Special Menus & Offers
Celebrate Christmas Eve at Cassis. We will be offering our regular menu with specials. Reservations are required.
Some hiccups in service where the waiter forgot about us for 25 minutes after seating us. When I complained, he was very responsive and attentive to the point I left him an extra 5% tip. All in all, it was good food and a pleasant experience. I’ll definitely try it again
The ambience is beautiful and I can see why the locals and tourist would dine here. Our drinks were quick to arrive at the table but our food was slow service. A couple of highlights in terms of taste in food was the roasted beet salad, the octopus where the chickpeas were the real star and the duck breast which could’ve used more sear to the skin to bring it to the next level. The escargot was truly a disappointment I sadly have to say.
Excellent waitress and food
Fun brunch with family!
High french cuisine at good price and good taste, nice location and good service
Noah was excellent server.
It was good. It was Thanksgiving, so I understand the confusion. They told Opentable I never showed up for my reservation, which was not true. I showed up 15 mins early (my fault) and was told I would be seated in 10 mins and the hostess proceeded to sit walk ins before me. I made a face so she came up to me and said “you are wait list right?!” Even though I had a whole convo with her 20 mins earlier apologizing for being early and having her check me in by the reservation and my name, so that was odd. The food was delicious and besides that slight hiccup it was nice. Reasonably priced too.
We had a lovely, quiet Thanksgiving for two outside at Cassis. Everyone was gracious, and our meals were delicious. Safely guidelines during the Covid crisis were carefully observed. Many thanks!
Outdoor table with a good price for typical Thanksgiving fare. Service was fast and efficient, and the food was excellent. Not the same as home, but good quality food at a fair price.
We went for Thanksgiving dinner. It was SO great to have a restaurant allowing you to order from the regular menu and not just offering a plate of Thanksgiving food, as so many restaurants seem to do on the holiday. Our meal was very good.
Everything we tried was good. Grouper sandwich is highly recommended.
Place looked nice enough. Outdoor seating was on the curb, very close to parking meters and people squeezing in right around our table from their car to the restaurant. Drinks were fine, if overpriced, service good enough. Food didn't look like anything special for high $$, so we left and ate elsewhere.
I'd suggest indoor seating, either HH or lunch, and be sure your host knows you had a reservation on open table...bc i was hassled later on as if I missed mine, even though I was right there, seated on time, and paid the bill, all in my name.
You have plenty of alternatives in the immediate areas.
Just 2 people for brunch. Meal orders were not coordinated. One meal came out at least 7 minutes before the other. Servers were nice, but appeared frustrated with the issue. May have been a system issue?
Amazing cheese platter. Food was all around excellent. Service was top notch. Outside seating to be more comfortable given COVID-19.
I frequently dine here for lunch/brunch and find any menu selection very enjoyable. The service is always friendly and prompt. It is always a real treat to come here and especially to dine on the patio in good weather.
Outside, food excellent as usual, server added fun and expertise, relaxed dining at its best.
Excellent service and food. Beautiful outdoor dining.
My experience was great! The french toast was amazing and the Cassis Lavender dessert I grabbed (to-go) from the bakery was incredible. I’m new to the area so finding a restaurant with great ambiance and food was a win-win in my book. I’ll definitely be back!
Everything was nice at this restaurant but the main reason I came was because my girlfriend is a fan of absinthe an heard that Cassis served this drink. Was disappointed to find out they don’t serve it.
Came for brunch food was average and over priced also the drinks are very over priced. Wouldn’t recommend
The food was good but the service was poor. Never informed of the specials, no bread was given or offered, the waiter tried to take our order on his tablet with one hand while holding a tray of drinks he was delivering to another table in the other hand. We ordered a "carafe" of wine and what was delivered was a 1/2 carafe. When we questioned it we were told that is "what they use as a carafe". Miss leading menu information, a carafe is 750ml and a 1/2 carafe is 375ml. You are cheating your customers.
Love Cassis for brunch, business lunches, HH! Great service, food and atmosphere.
This restaurant had a really good outdoor dining space. The busy street was a little annoying but tolerable. Food was good and waiter was on top of things. I would go back again.
Fantastic food and service as always.
Went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday on 11/2. As usual with every visit we never have a bad experience. We didn’t wait long to get seated (reservations recommended), our server came over promptly with water. After taking our drink order we waited less than five minutes before getting that and some bread. Our appetizers came shortly after that. Everything flowed easily and there were no delays. The server made some great recommendations that I added to our dining. Didn’t have to worry about our server hovering over us or being gone for long periods of time. Overall everything was great. This is one of our favorite places to dine in at when downtown. Even their bakery was great. We went there afterward and got some desserts to go.
Our server, EZ, was absolutely fantastic. The new Lobster, crab risotto was absolutely perfect.
Bernard (Garth) did a great job on Halloween. Service was terrific, great sense of humor. Wife ordered the salmon with pumpkin ravioli side, outstanding. I ordered the Delmonico, asked for Pittsburg style, cooked to perfection. Potatoes were terrific too. Great evening in St. Pete
Always an excellent dining experience. Well trained wait staff. Very good food. They're doing a great job of socially distancing patrons and servers are wearing masks, wiping down tables, etc.
Perfect outside dining. Had several small plates to share with my husband and they were all delicious.
I had a beet salad with fresh ricotta and pistachios, and it was delicious. I order beet salads in many places, and this one will stand out for awhile.
It seems that Cassis added more outdoor seating since the pandemic, and I was glad that we were able to reserve outdoor seating on Open Table.
Was in town for a weekend getaway. Picked this restaurant based on reviews and the location. From the moment we were seated to our awesome server Alex, we had a lovely evening with amazing food! The cheese platter is the best deal and the steak was to die for. We sat outside and there was a decent amount of noise as traffic was heavy with the Grand Prix in town. Definitely recommend coming for dinner if you are in St. Pete! Worth every cent
Excellent server! excellent cuisine! Loved the snapper, clams, scallops!
We’ve been there for brunch and mimosas and so glad we tried dinner. We shall return again!
There was Something new with the pound cake. It appeared to be apple. Please keep it. It is delicious.
Great atmosphere. Great service and food was super delish
Always delicious and the orange cake and French country rolls always make brunch extra special.
Perfect dinner. Nice quiet spot outside away from people. Food was delicious.
Very nice meal, the menu is well thought out , executed very well and is imaginative. The food tastes great and the overall experience is very nice. Staff were all very well educated in the food and drink service and were very nice.
Delicious! Our meal was delicious. Drinks were great. It's a little pricey ($150 for 2), but worth it for a night out.
Another great Beach Drive experience. Downtown St Pete is full of wonderful little places and Cassis is a large part of that. French-inspired dishes with a good, if smallish, wine list centered on fresh coastal ingredients. Outdoor seating is great for people and dog watching and to avoid COVID. Highly recommended.
