Disappointing. We have donned here several times before and enjoyed our meals and service but this past Saturday was such a disappointment that I am not sure we will be back especially since the are so many other good restaurants in the area. Our food was mediocre at best after a long wait. Our waiter was too busy with other tables to make sure our drinks and food waste delivered on time and correctly ( they weren't). For over $300 for 4 of us, it was not worth it.

Service as usual was great as well as the food of my fiends. I didn't like the changes to the yougurt & granola plate. It's not good at all. How it was offered before it was so much better. Might reconsider changing it back to the previous option.

The Black Bean and Roasted Corn Flat Bread is the bomb. However the guests I brought with me stated their risotto and vegetables were very, very salty.

It was a very busy Saturday and we had to wait a bit to be acknowledged and waited on after being seated; however, once brought to the waiter's attention, he more than made up for it with very attentive and charming service. Food was delicious!!

The place is beautiful inside and out. The staff is friendly and attentive. The lunch and breakfast menus are very good. I only down rate Cassis because of their dinner menu. The food is just average and hence overpriced. I would stick to lunch or breakfast. They have a great bakery next door with fantastic bread and small desserts. I ordered a Napoleon the last time I was there and it was beyond perfect. I really wish they would up their game on the dinner menu.

I have been to Cassis numerous times over the past couple of years. I noticed some ratings have dropped to 3.5. Friday evening 6 family members from around the state met for a dinner. The hostess, Manda was really charming, sat us right away. The waiter was a different story, disappearing for 10 minutes or more many times. We were not in a hurry at all but dinner lasted over two hours. The last 30 minutes a wind came up and the temperature dropped so we wanted to get out of there but our waiter was no where to be found. I went inside looking for him and he eventually showed up. Other wait staff was coming and going at tables around us...very frustrating. Prices seem to have increased rather dramatically. The cheapest chardonnay on the wine list that I saw was $52.

Feels like one is transported to Paris. The decor is authenticly gorgeous.
The service is usually ok but the waitress in this day was competent but not engaging.
The steak tartar was delicious, the accompanying chips were fresh and crispy but the fries were definitely not frites. The beet salad was surprisingly good.

We were in town for a conference and the hotel concierge recommended Cassis for brunch. I went with several colleagues and we were all pleased with the food, drinks and service. Our server, Olga, was wonderful and so personable. The menu has many great food and drink options, so you won't have trouble finding something you will like. I would highly recommend Cassis and will definitely return on my next visit to St. Pete.

We were getting ready to go to the Dali exhibit and they had a special dinner for members. I was really more interested in the steak tartare Although when I got there I told him I was allergic to vinegar they said that there was vinegar in the steak tartare never had I heard of vinegar being in steak tartare unless you add to pickles or capers ahead of time steak tartare is prepared on the spot that's what makes it so delicious. So instead I had to croak miss you and the French onion soup which were delicious what I'll do next time is call ahead of time to make them make me a fresh steak tartare LOL

We went to dinner before attending special members showing of "Dali & Schiaparelli at the Dali Museum. Joey was our waiter and what a pleasure. He was knowledgeable of the menu, ingredients of the dishes, personable and prompt without being obtrusive. Our dinner was perfectly prepared and delivered so we could eat without haste to get to the reception.

They had a special for members of the Dali Museum: 40% off. The service was excellent and everything we ordered was delicious. We recommend the berry salad. We will certainly come back to try some of the other things on their diverse menu.

Our server was very attentive, energetic and kind. The food was good. The atmosphere was great. I will be back. My only complaint would be about the desert serving. The moose pie was tasty but it was less than an ounce in size which was disappointing.

Water glasses were quite spotted and unsightly. The waiter replaced them from his "special stock".

No fork was presented with oysters on the half shell. After I asked, I was given a salad fork.

Beer order took 25 minutes to arrive--I think the server was watching a football game.

All things considered, I enjoyed the meal because the food was excellent!

Service was almost nonexistent during Sunday brunch. Our server seemed to be AWOL most of the time. Her station seemed to be split between opposite ends of the room during a very busy time. She was definitely in the weeds or out back smoking.

We love Cassie. It's our ho-to spot whenever We're in St
Pete. The people-watching while sitting outside is the best! The food is consistently very good, however, this time iy fell short. The blackened grouper was overly spiced. Almost inedible. The fried avocado made for an interesting side and helped balance the overly spicy grouper. We wom"t let it deter us though. we'lll be back.

Brunch with Friends in St. Pete

We've dined here previously for brunch as well as light dinner before Rays' games.
Some friends from St. Pete Beach wanted to meet up on a Saturday before doing some brewery tours so we came here.

The 2-egg breakfast was nice as always. The waiter had recommended the grouper sandwich to one of our friends. It was terrible.
Our other friend thoroughly enjoyed the tomato soup with the grilled cheese sandwich.
And we all liked the pastries ordered from their bakery.

The atmosphere is eclectic with diners of all ages and various dress so it's a fun people-watching spot in downtown St. Pete.

Went for Sunday brunch with 90 year old mother. No extra effort whatsoever. Waiter had tables inside and outside, so .....long delays and no attention to the table. Took forever just to get coffee. Order taken...more delay. 2 in our party ordered fried eggs and toast. Order came...no toast. When it came, eggs were cold. No effort to make anything right. Then we get bill and toast is extra.....but wait, there's more....jam was extra too. Are you kidding me?!## I have NO PLANS TO RETURN and cannot recommend. In fact, I'd stay away.

We did not stay as they put us in a table that was too small and then when we asked to move we were put in an area that had no air conditioning and they were not going to tell us! We have had great experiences there before but apparently the young ladies that were seating people did not care. This is Florida in the summer time. It was 90 degrees in there!

The plates were very hot and the food was luke warm. But that didn't ruin my dinner....
The restaurant was about 70% full on a Saturday night. The outdoor tables were half full. Yet they allowed dog to sit at the table inside. I spoke to the customers and they stated he was a puppy and not a service dog. So I brought this to the attention of the hostess when I left and she laughed and said I couldn't prove anything. I am deathly allergic to animal dander. I could have ended up hospitalized.

Made a reservation for a weekday evening. The restaurant was about half full, although despite so many open tables we were seated by the restrooms in between two tables with children who were running around. Not exactly the romantic dinner we had hoped for. We had no silverware when our entrees were delivered which after five minutes we got up and asked for ourselves because the waiter rushed off never to be seen again until our check was delivered at the end of the meal. No complaints about the quality of the food or drinks, however the service left much to be desired.

Four of us enjoyed a pleasant dinner, from salads to sandwiches to a chicken entree and a
bouillabaisse. All three who had wine liked their choices, a house chardonnay, a French rose, and a Malbec. The indoor dining area became louder as more diners arrived, but we did not have to shout to be heard at our table, something that too often happens in restaurants where people want to talk and not study the latest news or social media on their phones or tablets.

My family and I loved Cassis! Our server Brittany and the hostess Tiffany made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Cant say enough good things about the service and attention they both gave us. And the food was awesome! The Yellowtail tartare with avacado appetizer was amazing. We got the aioli on the side which added a little kick.

As for entreees we had the pork shank, scallops and filet. The pork shank was delicious and tender and hearty and brought comfort thoughts of thanksgiving! It was so good. The scallops were cooked to perfection and the Brussels sprouts were deliciously roasted. The filet was tender and delicious and we swapped the vegetable for mac and cheese which was so good! Creamy and delicious and a charred cheese crust on top!

The only very minor concern was we had to ask them to close the front door as we had a fly or two who wanted to enjoy our food with us!!!

Otherwise an amazing dining experience!!
