Casi Cielo Mexican Cuisine
this was the first time they had brunch and they nailed it! the duck and corn waffle was delicious! the corn waffle was a bit sweet, the duck confit was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. The kids breakfast was large and came with a dollop of cotton candy on the pancakes.... but it melted before it got to the table. I tried the lupita which was a mimosa with mezcal and it was a great twist on a traditional mimosa. Everything tasted wonderful, Brandon was our server and he was so knowledgeable and was just awesome !! we will be back!!
It was recommended by some friends that had celebrated their wedding anniversary. Our waiter, Brandon was amazing! He was attentive and made our first dining experience there awesome. In fact, the whole staff was great. We observed that other waiters/waitresses helped each other out. We really loved the octopus appetizer. My husband had the duck tacos. There was an ample serving of duck and we could've shared this entree. I had the lamb entree and it was a little on the salty side, but still enjoyable with the creamed potatoes. Lastly, we had the chocolate lava cake, which seemed to be a favorite of other guests around us too. Overall, we did enjoy the atmosphere and food at this restaurant. We"ll definitely return when life is back to normal after COVID-19 social distancing. Be safe and stay healthy!
Good experience overall.
A very good follow from "ATLANTA EATS" tv show...authentic servings, tasty cocktails, easy free parking in the deck (or valet). NOT your typical tex-mex dining option. Highly recommended, albeit a lil'pricey.
As always, beautiful and delicious food, awesome service, and great mezcals!
The food is outstanding, and the service is impeccable. Casi Cielo is definitely an amazing experience, with the quality and taste of the food, and the help of the service they take you on a senses trip to Oaxaca!!!
Great service, food and drinks.
Very nice place and ambience!
Delicious. Truly a fine dining experience. Style. Ambience. Flavors. All perfect. The waitress was sweet as sugar, too. Enjoy!
Open Table Feedback: I did show up early for my reservation and was seated 45 minutes after my reservation time. I do not understand the email about missing the reservation. Perhaps the restaurant lost the reservation since they did not find us at the bar and we were not seated until I asked at the hostess desk after 45 minutes or more of waiting.
The grilled octopus was new for us but surprisingly tinder and really good. Salsas were awesome. Skirt Steak was amazing. I’m do not like spice at all so the Mahi Mahi taco was too hot for me but would have been very good otherwise.
A little loud but our table was placed perfectly to be as quiet as possible.
Left phones at home so no pictures!
Every time we visit Casi Cielo we walk away more impressed with every level of service. Awesome servers, great vibe, amazing food and drinks - presentation and yumminess! We’re fans!
Restaurant, bar, and servers were all excellent. I was very disappointed though in how long it took to get a table. Our reservation was for 9pm, we checked in 10 minutes early, but were not seated for 45 minutes.
The food is outstanding, especially the salmon. My favorite item is the spicy Margarita, best I've ever had!
Made reservation for 6 at 8:00. We arrived on time. Didn’t get seated until 8:40. That’s never happened to me before. I know there’s some variability and a short wait would’ve been understandable. The restaurant was busy. But they could’ve handled it better, offered to buy us a drink, politely moved the tables more quickly, etc.
Food was very good though. And service, after we were seated was also excellent.
Very creative menu! Every dish we've had tastes great and looks great. Even the fish tacos look like works of art! Duck Carnitas are outstanding and works for two.
The food was outstanding as was creativity of menu so will be back! But had to wait 30 minutes beyond reservation time for seating in main dining area. Noise level was so high almost left. Once number parties lessened it all went well. Server Clayton was wonderful!
Loved the cocktails and apps. Entree very good except the temp of entree was not very hot.
First I have to say, the food and drinks are outstanding! Every time I have been here, it has been consistent and delicious!! Service has always been on point as well, but last night we had a bad experience after a very fun evening of eating and drinking. Basically, while chatting and winding down our meal, we were asked to leave by the manager. The manager even offered us a "tour of the kitchen" as a reinforcement to leave so they could seat others who were waiting. This was at 8:30pm and our reservations were at 6pm. I still had wine in my glass and the 4 of us were enjoying our evening after appetizers, drinks and our entrees and were close to being done. It did not seem that we were overstaying, but it was embarrassing and a we felt belittled. Just wanted to share that.
Wow. Flavor upon flavor, beautifully balanced dishes. My best meal in 2020 so far. Lubina, lamb and langoustines plus octopus, langoustine carpaccio and halibut carpaccio with Serrano as first courses. Drinks creative and excellent. Going back for the tacos.
We love the unique Oaxacan food and cocktails here. The service is friendly and professional and the space is nice. We were taken to a table right under a speaker and asked to move to a booth and this was quickly accommodated.
Outstanding dining experience. Food, drinks and service.were excellent. Can't wait to go back.
Best restaurant. Good food and great service. Thank you so much
Very good service and very decent wine prices.Had a Mezcal cocktail(Paloma negra)that was delicious.Food was not outstanding but different form other Mexican restaurants.
Valentines dinner for 3 couples. Food as always was amazing. Love the mezcal! Waitress and managers are very personable
Birthday and service perfect
Great place for upscale latins who are missing our big cities in Latin America!
Friendly waitstaff, hostess, and manager. Food was great! we even got a “compliments from the chef” item that was yum! Will go back!
Salmon entree and cocktails are delicious. Service very good. The only reason I gave a 4 star overall is the bench seats are very low, uneven and uncomfortable.
We loved the fun atmosphere. great service and food. I loved the jalapeno margarita, burrata appetizer and prawn dish for dinner. fresh delicious salsa etc too. we would definitely go back.
The duck carnitas, salads and all entrees are amazing. Desserts are bland, mediocre at best and not at the level of the rest of the food. The cocktails are delightful. The noise is very loud especially if you are next to one of the speakers and have loud guests nearby. I would turn the music down and get a pastry chef if it were my restaurant. I have been numerous times and this is my constructive criticism.
The food was very good and the service was excellent. Server explained everything and gave us good recommendations. We needed some explanations about the food because the lighting at our table was a bit dark to be able to read the menu. A couple of managers stopped by to ensure that we were satisfied, and we were.
Food was delicious but we had a 7:30 reservation and didn’t get seated until 8:15.
Great night with friends! The whole experience of dining at Casi Cielo met all my expectations!
Unique tastes so pleasurable
Loved the drinks. Service was great.
Can you find any better Mexican food in Georgia???
Quite an incredible little gem. The food is unique, and a cut above. The chefs well prepared creations influenced from the village of Oaxaca, were some of the most superb Latin food I’ve ever eaten. The service was impeccable, The staff well-informed, and we felt very well taken care of. The atmosphere was uplifting, hip, but not over the top. And the noise level was pretty mild. It was very easy to have a quiet conversation. Can’t wait for my next opportunity to go back there
Loved the chicken enchiladas and the octopus! Waitress was knowledgeable about the food’s origin and inspiration. Felt welcomed by her and the manager. Wonderful new spot in Sandy Springs!
Excellent food and service! Will definitely be back!
