Nice wines, friendly service and great food. From the caponata and bread that appeared on the table, to the fried calamari and burata and prosciutto, to the pastas and chicken parmigiana, everything was excellent quality, and beautifully prepared. Desserts were homemade and delicious as well. We sampled the papardelle and amatriciana pastas, both were delicious . Owners were friendly and fun.

Great food. A bit overpriced. Service is a bit uneven. But they try and make things right. It would be nicer if the principles of the restaurant weren’t so aggressive with self promotion.

Thank you Brian for coming Theres no in-house waiter service . Chefs just shop everyday. If you read the website. Its like visiting a house in Italy and eating from their homes. We shop fresh org everyday. Buy them if you requests for a dish. Wine, and other ingredients are premium quality. Real Cheese, free olives, free bread and caponata. Your parking was free. The italian born chef cook. The dish are authentic. Self promotion was only way to chat in each table & see if all was okay.

I was surprised by the location. Small place in a little strip mall. Upon entering I thought how cute and charming. I love to find little hole in the wall places with great food. This was exactly that. The food isn’t inexpensive but worth every penny!! The ingredients are very fresh!! Menu is on the blackboard and changes according to the freshest ingredients they get. I was told if you want something specific, and you call a few days in advance, they can make it for you BUT only if they can guarantee that it will be found at its freshest. Will definitely be back and with friends!

We are on vacation in Pompano Beach and were looking for a place to have dinner. My husband found this on Yelp with good reviews and it did not disappoint. Everything about this restaurant was wonderful- the food, ambience, service. If we lived around here, we would become regulars. We highly recommend the Brazino and the Papardelle with porcini mushrooms and sausage.

Bread and olives were tasty! Arugula salad was good but dressed and salted w a heavy hand. Cacio de Pepe was delicious! Affogato was also delicious!
Salt and pepper grinders and cloth napkins would be a nice addition, instead of utensils wrapped in paper napkins. Fresh Shaved/ground at the table Parmesan reggiano should also be offered for the pasta dishes.
Seating arrangement is a little strange; two large tables for six could have been divided into several smaller tables for two or four, which would be more appropriate, unless there is a large party which needs the larger table. On the evening we dined there were only smaller parties, and it felt awkward to be a party of two dining at a long table set for six. Foyer and probably the dining room itself could also use a good cleaning and freshening. Many of the hanging lightbulbs were out.

We knew going in that the place was expensive. We also knew that the food was good. The bread was delivers to the table 2 minutes before our meals were served. The eggplant parmigiana was a very small portion of three slices of eggplant with sauce and mozzarella. There was a small side of pasta on the plate. The price $30. The chicken parmigiana had three small pieces of chicken and a small side of pasta on the plate. during our meal no one came over to the table to check to make sure that everything was okay. So, bottom line -the good is good (no better than many other Italian restaurants.) As promised the food was very expensive. No reason to go back with many other good and great restaurants to choose from in Greater Fort Lauderdale.

We saw so many five star reviews online about Casareccio that we thought we would go and see what all the fuss was about. This was truly a gem, nestled between nondescript storefronts on Federal Highway. Step inside their wood and glass door and we found ourselves in a warm, friendly, European homelike atmosphere. The service was exceptional by Emilia, (one of the owners). All of our dishes (we were four), was fresh and homemade, nothing was pre-prepared or frozen. Everything was delicious, perfection. You should go. We will certainly be back.

What a fabulous find! Emilia & Salvatore make everyone feel so welcome at their charming, cozy restaurant offering a mouthwatering selection of authentic Italian dishes. Many of their dishes feature organic ingredients, and they even have a pasta dish with Bolgnese sauce made with grass fed beef, which I have bookmarked for a future visit. My husband and our son thoroughly enjoyed the calamari fritti, linguine with clam sauce, papardelle with mushrooms and crumbled sausage in a most divine light cream sauce (be sure not to miss it!), and chicken topped with burrata over a fresh salad of greens and juicy tomatoes. We barely had room after that, but were glad we ordered the yummy tiramisu for dessert. We will definitely be back here again and again!

Thank you so much, bella! Sorry if the service was slow, (we cant afford waiters) we spend them mostly on keeping the place, the everyday fresh organic food. Like I mentioned and written on board its a small restaurant and no waiters. Theres only one chef in the kitchen :) we dont rush people out to the door. Food is cooked from scratch. All dish has to come out from one of the chef only, just like how Nonna wants it perfect. Or there will be some mistake. Thank you so much! See you in November!

Portions were a good size and pasta was fresh. We wished that they had some better white wine selections by the glass. For a Sicilian restaurant a grillo or etna bianco option would have been nice over two Chardonnay options but maybe that is due to the specific clientele in FL. Also we were disappointed to not have the option to finish our meal w a grappa or an amaro. Service was a little all over the place. She meant well but didn’t read her guests-knowing that we were in the business. She paid more attention to her regulars in which she kept reminding us of. Caponata and burrata were excellent.
