Our current hours are as follows.
Monday - Thursday, Dinner 4:30pm to 9:00pm
Friday- Saturday, Dinner 4:30pm to 9:30pm

Policies: We do require a credit card for reservations. We reserve the right to charge guests who do not show up for their reservations or cancel within a 24 hour notice.
The charge for NO SHOW is $35 per guest. We will hold your table for 15min max, and will automatically allot 2hrs for your dining pleasure.
Parties of 5 or more will need to make special accommodations with the hostess.

When we checked in host showed no interest. Acted like we were a nuisance. We almost decided to just leave. Manager came and apologized. Still experience mediocre overall. Not a place that values their customers. Just take them for granted. Will not come back.

We greatly enjoyed our meal at Casanova. The restaurant is located in an historic adobe house in Carmel with colorful and charming decor. The menu reflects innovative Mediterranean culture from france, italy, and spain. We greatly enjoyed the duck confit, the short rib cannelloni, the tuna crudo, and their unique version of Caesar salad. Service was attentive and charming. The restaurant has an astonishingly large wine cellar with wines from all over the world. However, they also have their own winery, and we had a delightful rosé from their own cellars. We would certainly return to this restaurant again when visiting Carmel.

Upon arriving at the Tickle Pink Inn (3ish miles south in the highlands) we were handed a brochure for dining in the area. We chose Casanova for our first night, and couldn’t have made a better choice. Upon walking into the establishment, my wife pointed out that she felt like we had gone back to Positano. Casanova is quaint yet lively. Her atmosphere charms you and makes you feel like you could sit, converse, drink and eat for hours and hours, just like the Mediterranean experience intends. The food is excellent (go for the Sole). The staff took great care of us. 10/10 would recommend to anybody wandering around these parts of the California coast.

Two people we met during our trip up to Sonoma and Carmel told us about this restaurant so we had high expectations. Casanova didn’t disappoint. It had a trendy vibe with how busy the place was on a Wednesday but it still maintained that charming Carmel-By-The-Sea and quaint cottage ambiance. We enjoyed our food and wine and yummy tiramisu but our conversation with Gary, the general manager, really topped our experience. He gave us the “back story” of the Van Gogh table in the private room. Very interesting and what a novelty to see. Casanova is very well run and just observing Gary’s efficiency and keen awareness, it’s obvious why.

Everything was outstanding. We did have to wait twice- once to get the bill and once to sign for the charge.

Casanova is always a lovely experience. The Dover sole and crab risotto are must have dishes. Lovely basque cheesecake as well. Service is always wonderful. Thank you for a great meal.

Have been dining here for many many years. They do not disappoint. Last night the crab risotto was delicious. Focaccia was downright superb alongside some very creamy butter. You will enjoy a meal here.
